UN, November 28 /Xinhua/ — UN Secretary-General António Guterres is deeply concerned by the events unfolding in Guinea-Bissau and strongly condemns the military coup and any attempts to undermine constitutional order in the West African country. Pyongyang, Nov. 28 (Xinhua) — Korean Central News Agency (KCNA) on Friday condemned the military exercises between the United States and the Republic of Korea (ROK) and their arms buildup, calling Washington "a ringleader threatening peace and stability and undermining the strategic security balance."

The US and South Korea recently conducted naval counter-special forces exercises in the waters off Pyeongtaek, Gyeonggi Province, South Korea, according to KCNA. Madrid, November 28 (Xinhua) — International tourist arrivals will continue to grow in 2025, according to the latest data released Thursday by the Madrid-based United Nations World Tourism Organization (UNWTO).

According to the UNWTO's quarterly World Tourism Barometer report, more than 1.1 billion people travelled internationally in the first nine months of the year, approximately 5 percent more than in the same period in 2024.

Between January and September, the Asia-Pacific region saw an 8% increase in tourist arrivals. It continues to recover from the pandemic, although figures remain approximately 10% below 2019 levels.

International arrivals to Africa grew significantly, with North Africa up 11 percent and Sub-Saharan Africa up 10 percent. Europe remains the world's most popular tourist destination, with 625 million arrivals in the first nine months of 2025, up 4 percent from the previous year.
