WASHINGTON, Dec. 5 (Xinhua) — The U.S. Supreme Court on Friday agreed to review the legality of President Donald Trump's executive order seeking to end birthright citizenship, which has been considered sacrosanct for more than a century.

SHANGHAI, Dec. 6 (Xinhua) — The BRICS New Development Bank (NDB) on Friday announced the issuance of three-year panda bonds worth a total of 3 billion yuan (about 424 million U.S. dollars) on China's interbank bond market.

NANJING, Dec. 6 (Xinhua) — The Nanjing Massacre Memorial Museum in east China's Jiangsu Province on Friday said it has collected 573 artifacts or sets of artifacts and historical materials this year, providing new evidence of war crimes committed by Japanese troops who invaded China during World War II.

Among the new exhibits is a four-page letter written in pencil by a Japanese soldier on January 8, 1938, in which he describes the Nanjing massacres in chillingly mundane terms, the museum said at a press briefing.

NANNING, Dec. 6 (Xinhua) — China on Friday launched a new high-speed railway section to a southern city bordering Vietnam, a major step aimed at boosting cross-border tourism and strengthening regional ties.

This 81-kilometer section between the cities of Chongzuo and Pingxiang in the Guangxi Zhuang Autonomous Region (GZAR, southern China) is part of the Nanning-Pingxiang high-speed railway.
