Kuwait, December 7 (Xinhua) — The Kuwait Space Rocket team reported that the small rocket it attempted to launch on Saturday morning exploded shortly after launch in Jahra province. There were no injuries.

TEHRAN, Dec. 7 (Xinhua) — Iran supports the Shanghai Cooperation Organization's (SCO) counter-terrorism plans and cooperation efforts, a senior Iranian diplomat said.

Caracas, Dec. 6 (Xinhua) — Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro and his Turkish counterpart Recep Tayyip Erdogan discussed global geopolitics and troop deployments in the Caribbean by phone on Saturday.
