Washington, December 19 (Xinhua) — The U.S. military destroyed two vessels suspected of carrying drugs in international waters in the Eastern Pacific on Thursday, killing all five people on board, U.S. Southern Command reported.

Harbin, December 19 (Xinhua) — A 55-container train carrying auto parts departed Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, northeast China, on Thursday. It is expected to travel to Europe via the Manzhouli Port on the China-Russia border. This is the first China-Europe train carrying Chinese-made auto parts to depart from Heilongjiang this year, according to the Harbin branch of China Railways (CR).
