From January to November 2025, the airline transported approximately 1,600,000 passengers from the Northern Capital airport, increasing the figure for the same period last year by more than 20%.

"Currently, our schedule from Pulkovo consists of 18 scheduled destinations. Over the course of the year, flight frequencies increased on a number of routes, such as St. Petersburg – Tyumen, St. Petersburg – Kaliningrad, and St. Petersburg – Ufa. It's worth noting that during the high-demand period (May to August), Nordwind, for the first time in the airport's history, began operating flights from Omsk to St. Petersburg on a wide-body Airbus A330 aircraft with a capacity of up to 365 seats, providing a 28% increase in seat capacity compared to the same period in 2024. We also continue to actively use Pulkovo as a transfer hub from Siberian cities, such as Kaliningrad," commented Anton Mattis, Deputy General Director of the airline.

Among the most popular destinations in 2025 from Pulkovo are Kazan, Kaliningrad, and Ufa.

"Nordwind remains one of Pulkovo's key partners and demonstrates steady growth on domestic routes. By the end of 2025, the airline carried over 1.6 million passengers through our airport, with Kazan becoming the most popular destination, with over 400,000 passengers. In the spring/summer 2025 season, the airline increased flight frequency to its most popular destinations and resumed direct flights to Gorno-Altaysk and Makhachkala. This allows Pulkovo to offer passengers more convenient routes and flight options, which helps improve transport accessibility and strengthen connections between regions," said Anna Marinushkina, Head of Key Partner Relations at Pulkovo Airport.
