Kazan International Airport and Nordwind Airlines continue to successfully introduce the younger generation to the exciting world of aviation: on the eve of the New Year, children from the Privolzhsky District Orphanage in Kazan participated in a unique career-oriented tour of the airport and the airline's aircraft.

On December 17, the meeting began with a tour of the terminals. The students learned about the development of civil aviation in the Republic of Tatarstan and the rich history of Kazan's air gateway.

The young aviators then checked in for their flight and went to pre-flight security, where they were shown how screening equipment works to search for explosive devices and weapons—each one had the chance to try their hand at being a security inspector.

On November 23, the 80th anniversary of Sochi Airport, a festive atmosphere permeated the airport terminal. The base carrier, Nordwind Airlines, reached a unique milestone, serving 10 million passengers since the start of flights from Sochi.
