In the south-east of the capital, areas will be reorganized under the integrated development of territories (IDT) project. The corresponding decision was made by the Moscow Government, reported the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Development Policy and Construction Vladimir Efimov.

"The integrated development project for territories in the Kuzminki area of the South-Eastern Administrative District will facilitate the implementation of the renovation program. Seven sites with a total area of 4.98 hectares are included in one KRT project. During the redevelopment process, over the course of seven years, the operator appointed by the city will build 182.4 thousand square meters of residential real estate on them to implement the renovation program. This will provide new apartments for about four thousand Muscovites," said Vladimir Efimov.

The sites where the KRT project will be implemented are located at the following addresses: Zelenodolskaya Street, Building 30 and Building 41, Building 3, Volzhsky Boulevard, Building 41, Building 1, Volzhsky Boulevard, Quarter 114a, Building 1, Volgogradsky Prospekt, Building 135, Building 3, Volgogradsky Prospekt, Building 152, Building 1 and Akademika Skryabina Street, Building 36, Building 2.

The area has a well-developed infrastructure. Some sites are located near the Kuzminki and Tekstilshchiki metro stations of the Tagansko-Krasnopresnenskaya line, some are near the Volzhskaya station of the Lyublinsko-Dmitrovskaya line.

"The total area of apartments in new buildings will be 111.4 thousand square meters. The ground floors of the buildings will house trade, catering and service enterprises. Thus, new residents will be able to use popular services. The number of state and municipal customers on the supplier portal has reached 60 thousand. This was reported by Maria Bagreeva, Deputy Mayor of Moscow, Head of the Moscow Department of Economic Policy and Development.

"Over the past 12 years, the Supplier Portal has become an interregional platform for small-volume procurement. With its help, state and municipal organizations, including schools, kindergartens, clinics, hospitals, theaters and other institutions, purchase the necessary goods, works and services. By mid-2025, the number of customers working on the portal reached 60 thousand. About half of them represent Moscow, St. Petersburg, Moscow, Nizhny Novgorod and Chelyabinsk regions. Over the past five years, the number of customers on the Supplier Portal has grown by almost 30 percent," said Maria Bagreeva.

The supplier portal attracts entrepreneurs with the opportunity to participate in interregional purchases, digitalization and promptness of transactions. The remote format of work allows you to ship products on the day of signing the contract.

"Currently, more than 378 thousand entrepreneurs from all over the country are registered on the supplier portal, and 90 percent of them are representatives of small and medium businesses. The product catalog includes over 3.2 million items – from office supplies and medical products to heavy municipal special equipment. Today, customers from 42 subjects of the Russian Federation are connected to the platform – over five years, their number has grown by almost 24 percent. Since the beginning of the year, traffic lights have been installed and modernized at 85 addresses in Moscow. This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry Maxim Liksutov.

"Since January 2025, the Traffic Management Center (TMC) has updated traffic lights at 58 addresses – they have replaced the equipment, installed additional sections and sound signals. New traffic lights have been installed at 27 points: near popular places among residents and busy intersections, as well as in places where traffic accidents often occur. We continue to improve conditions for all road users on the instructions of Sergei Sobyanin," said Maxim Liksutov.

New traffic lights were also installed on multi-lane highways, along which a large number of public transport routes pass. Particular attention was paid to roads near schools, kindergartens, clinics and social institutions, such as Moscow Longevity Centers and libraries.

During the modernization, traffic lights were equipped with buttons for pedestrians or additional sections indicating, for example, a turn. Also, their operating mode settings were adjusted more than one and a half thousand times. This allowed pedestrians to spend less time waiting for a green light, and drivers to pass intersections and highways faster.

The traffic light mode is reconfigured at the request of city residents when the traffic pattern changes, as well as to allow faster passage of public transport and cars through the most congested areas.

Before making a decision on installing a traffic light, the employees of the Traffic Management Center analyze the traffic situation and develop a project. After its approval, preparations begin for placing the equipment on the selected section.

Where the new traffic lights appeared

This year, work was carried out at 24a Festivalnaya Street. In 2024, there were two traffic accidents here. The new traffic light was installed to improve traffic safety and reduce accidents. We presented our main achievements — from the modernization of secondary vocational education to the comprehensive renovation of the infrastructure of schools and colleges — at the forum-festival "Territory of the Future. Moscow 2030" in Gostiny Dvor. Thanks to detailed interactive models, visitors will get a clear idea of what colleges of the future, as well as new and modernized capital schools, will look like. In addition, at the interactive site, everyone can try themselves in the specialties taught in the capital's colleges — from an electric train driver to a designer or a criminologist. The site will feature a model of the capital's first innovative college of fashion and arts, which will be able to accommodate eight thousand students. The total area of the building will be 50 thousand square meters. The innovative cluster is being created in cooperation with partner employers. The best craftsmen and teachers will train specialists for the city's digital and creative industries. Full cycles of creating creative products and services will be reproduced in 34 modern workshops and laboratories. Five educational and practical training grounds will allow students to hone their skills in real production conditions.

In addition, guests will be able to see a model of a school renovated as part of the large-scale My School program. Thanks to modernization, educational institutions built in the last century are becoming more comfortable and technologically advanced. As early as September 1, 51 renovated schools will open in Moscow as part of the program.

With the help of another model, visitors will learn about the schools of the future that will appear in Moscow. Innovative buildings, each of which is designed for more than a thousand students, will be built in different areas of the capital. New architectural and design solutions will be implemented in them. Forensic science enthusiasts will have the opportunity to take fingerprints, find hidden traces and investigate a case in virtual reality. They can also assemble a glowing keychain, print their own design on a 3D printer and even program the movements of a smart robotic dog.

For selfie lovers, there is a creative photo zone. It was developed by students of Moscow colleges – future landscape designers, florists, carpenters and finishing workers. The space is decorated with wood, glass, moss and live plants.
