An important disclaimer is at the bottom of this article.

Red caviar of pink salmon, chum salmon and sockeye salmon of the new catch appeared at the fish markets "Moscow – on the wave". It is brought from Kamchatka and Khabarovsk Krai.

Pink salmon caviar has a delicate, universal taste, while sockeye salmon caviar has a richer, bitter taste. The eggs of the first fish are bright orange, from three to five millimeters in size. The eggs of the second fish are about the same size, but red. Chum salmon caviar is the largest, up to seven millimeters, amber in color. It is not bitter and is considered the saltiest.

All red caviar at the Moscow-on-the-Wave fish markets is lightly salted. Salmon are caught in ecologically clean waters in compliance with the standards of extraction and processing. The caviar is salted immediately after extraction and packed in special containers with a capacity of 10 to 20 kilograms. During transportation, from air transportation to packaging, a strict temperature regime is maintained – from minus four to plus six degrees.

Salmon caviar is in demand among market buyers all year round, and is often used in cooking. In addition to the classic sandwich, you can make various snacks with it: layered salad with potatoes, eggs and mayonnaise, pancakes, draniki, crepes or flatbreads, stuffed eggs, tomatoes and baked eggplants. Caviar is often added to salads with other seafood, such as shrimp and crab. Pink salmon caviar adds tenderness to dishes, sockeye salmon caviar adds piquancy, and chum salmon caviar adds juiciness.

The Moscow-on-the-Wave fish market with an area of several thousand square meters opened in Kosino-Ukhtomsky in November 2023, and in Mitino in September 2024. Since their launch, two million people have visited them, and about 1.5 thousand tons of products have been sold. In addition to shopping arcades, there are storage areas with different temperature conditions, food courts, master class studios and laboratories for checking the quality of products.

The assortment includes more than 600 types of fish and seafood from the Astrakhan, Murmansk and Magadan regions, Kamchatka and Khabarovsk territories, Karelia, Crimea and Yakutia.

A single contact number for the Moscow State Veterinary Service has simplified the search for information for pet owners

Translation. Region: Russian Federal

Source: Moscow Government – Government of Moscow –

An important disclaimer is at the bottom of this article.

The unified contact center of the Moscow State Veterinary Service has received more than 600 thousand calls from city residents since its opening in March 2022. In 2025, it switched to a new single number phone: 7 495 612-12-12 and combined the functions of a contact center and a state veterinary service hotline.

"The contact center for our clients is a single entry point for all questions related to the activities of the Moscow State Veterinary Service. We simplify the search for information for owners and ensure that they receive up-to-date answers. Collecting feedback from clients, analyzing problems and frequently asked questions allows us to identify weak points and constantly improve the quality of service. We understand that each call is not just a request, but a concern for a family member. And we try to do everything possible to improve the life of a pet," said Elena Kepshina, head of the contact center of the Moscow State Veterinary Service.

The hotline operators continue to make appointments at 25 state veterinary clinics in the capital, provide consultations on veterinary services, and explain the procedure for obtaining documents. With the expansion of its functionality, the contact center began to record and promptly respond to requests about cases of death or mass disease of animals and birds, quarantine of animals, as well as emergency situations related to the safety of products of animal origin.

With the introduction of the new phone number, the number of calls has almost doubled. If in 2022, operators received 107,833 calls, then in the first seven months of 2025, 164,209 calls were received. In total, more than 600 thousand citizens have contacted the contact center since its opening.

Operators work around the clock, seven days a week. Currently, the contact center processes more than 800 calls daily, while in 2022, about 300 were received per day, and in 2024 – up to 500. At the same time, 90 percent of calls are received between nine and 9 p.m., 10 percent occur at night.

The number of calls to the contact center varies seasonally. For example, in the spring, the topic of pet vaccinations is relevant, in the summer, people are interested in obtaining veterinary documents for travel. The most popular requests are related to the preparation of documents for the export of animals abroad, vaccinations, and registration for an initial examination.

Citizens can ask the call center operators any questions related to veterinary care for animals. They will explain what additional tests need to be done before an operation or other procedure, provide phone numbers for pharmacies in clinics to check the availability of vaccines, and make an appointment with a specialist and for a medical examination.

By processing routine requests (appointment, questions about prices, general recommendations on preparing for trips), the contact center frees up the time of administrators and veterinarians of clinics for in-person appointments with animals and their owners. Through the contact center, you can also call a general practitioner of the state veterinary service to your home using a single number.

There are 25 state veterinary clinics in the capital. You can get a consultation, make an appointment with a veterinarian or call one to your home 24 hours a day by calling the single contact center of the state veterinary service: 7 495 612-12-12.

Moscow College Students Restore Russian Cultural Heritage Sites

Translation. Region: Russian Federal

Source: Moscow Government – Government of Moscow –

An important disclaimer is at the bottom of this article.

Students of the College of Architecture, Design and Reengineering No. 26 (26 KADR), together with experienced mentors, carried out work on the restoration of chapels and cathedrals in the Tver and Arkhangelsk regions. The accumulated experience and collected materials are used by future restorers, artists, architects and designers for diploma theses, scientific publications, creative projects and exhibitions. This was reported by the press service of the capital Department of Education and Science.

"For 20 years now, students from the capital's college have been going on expeditions to different regions of our country, where they study wooden architecture in practice and help preserve unique churches and chapels. The students communicate with local residents and study history, culture, everyday life, and traditions. Such experience not only forms professional skills in young specialists, but also helps them understand the value of cultural heritage and our role in preserving it. In total, over 500 students and teachers of professional disciplines took part in the expeditions," the department's press service said.

37 expedition members restored the wooden chapel of Pyotr Zhukov and Prokhor Mikhailov in the village of Nikulino in the Tver region. In the village of Kozlovo, they continued work in the church of St. Alexius of Siberia: they painted the dome ceiling and restored the iconostasis. In the village of Karelsky Gorodok, they dismantled the canvases, set up a drainage system, and installed drainage in the chapel of the holy martyr Vlasiy.

College student Anna Ronzhina painted the dome of the Church of St. Alexius of Siberia in the village of Kozlovo. This was her first experience of this kind: she mastered the basics of icon painting, met other expedition members, and felt the peculiarities of life in the field. In addition, she realized her involvement in preserving the country's cultural heritage. In the future, the girl plans to return to these places.

Another group of 16 people went to the Arkhangelsk region, where they joined volunteer work at the 17th-century St. Nicholas Church. The students interacted with local residents and studied the history of the village and its traditions.

Student Maria Eriskina said that during the expedition they helped craftsmen dismantle an old temple, which is planned to be restored later. She also noted that for her, as a future specialist in landscape gardening, it was especially valuable to learn about plants and the traditions of their use. According to her, the college teachers explained how to communicate with local residents and ask questions. Maria emphasized that even a small contribution from students is important, because it helps preserve history and culture, which are important to tell others about.

In addition to practical work, the guys collected materials for diplomas and future projects, including the creation of an audio guide to the village of Volosovo, research articles and a design project for an eco-trail to the Horse Stone shrine. Future designers and restorers made sketches and photographs for exhibitions, and also prepared a layout of a magazine with the results of their research.

"The expedition itself is just the tip of the iceberg. Behind it lies a long process of preparation and subsequent processing of the collected knowledge and materials. Throughout the year, students defend their ideas for future research and projects, learn to live in field conditions, and study the history of the region. Thanks to this, by the time they leave, everyone knows their task: someone studies wooden buildings, someone interviews local residents, and someone studies the natural environment. Once on site, the guys learn to work in a team, adopt the experience of masters and see how their actions change the space around them. And upon returning, the collected materials become part of diploma theses, scientific publications, and the basis for various projects, research, and exhibitions," said Yulia Sokolina, Director of the College of Architecture, Design, and Reengineering No. 26.

The summer expeditions were a continuation of the college's long-standing work to preserve cultural heritage. In recent years, young specialists have restored monuments in various regions of Russia, from the Far East to North Ossetia, and last year they completed the restoration of an abandoned 19th-century wooden chapel in the Tver Region, where services are now held again.

Previously Anastasia Rakova, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development, said that you can try yourself in the specialties taught in Moscow colleges at the interactive platform of the forum-festival "Territory of the Future. Moscow 2030" inGostiny DvorAmong the master classes is a restoration lesson organized by the 26 KADR college.

An important disclaimer is at the bottom of this article.

Monthly growth of credit to the economy slowed to 0.3% in June from 1.1% in May. Tight monetary conditions continued to constrain lending.

In June, the entire growth of credit to the economy was fully provided by corporate lending: banks' claims on organizations increased by 0.4% over the month. Claims on the population remained almost unchanged over the month.

Broad money supply increased by 0.6% in June, which is comparable to the May growth rate. The bulk of the growth was accounted for by cash rubles and current accounts of the population. This may be due to the fact that during the summer holidays the need for funds for settlements increased. In the segment of term deposits, long-term deposits grew at an accelerated rate, which may be explained by the desire of depositors to fix current rates.
