In 2025, approximately 40 industrial and production facilities were built in the capital. These include research and production complexes, factories, a technology park, a shipyard, water treatment facilities, and other enterprises. "The volume of industrial construction in Moscow remains high. In 2025, approximately 40 industrial and production facilities were built, with a total area of over 410,000 square meters. Most of these structures were built by investors—more than 30 buildings, totaling almost 268,000 square meters. By comparison, in 2024, only 20 such facilities were built, using both city and extra-budgetary funds," said Vladimir Efimov.
The construction of new industrial enterprises was made possible by the city's support, particularly through the implementation of a program to stimulate the creation of employment opportunities and large-scale investment projects, as well as the conditions offered to its residents by the Technopolis Moscow special economic zone.
"Following Sergei Sobyanin's instructions, comprehensive work is underway in the capital to develop a modern industrial infrastructure. The main objective is to ensure conditions for the dynamic development of the manufacturing sector, the accelerated implementation of new technologies, and the further strengthening of the city's investment attractiveness. By 2030, the volume of such space will more than double—from 12 to 25 million square meters. This will create an additional impetus for economic growth and the emergence of new business opportunities," emphasized the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry.

The construction of industrial complexes increases Moscow's industrial potential and contributes to the creation of new highly skilled jobs. It houses production facilities with integrated administrative and amenity blocks, retail outlets, and a café.
Committee for State Construction Supervision of the City of Moscow commissioned the facilities after its specialists had supervised their construction at all stages.

Employees of the Center for Expertise, Research, and Testing in Construction also participated in these inspections. This ensures the safety and reliability of buildings after completion.
Since 2011, more than 320 new production facilities have opened in the capital, with a total area of approximately three million square meters.
