Thus, in 2025, agreements were concluded and signed with new partners, including Gazprom Neft, Rosselkhozbank, and Aeroflot, as part of the Decade's thematic initiatives. As part of the Science and Business initiative, more than 790,000 participants from nearly 500 universities took part in events under the federal program, the University Technological Entrepreneurship Platform. Thanks to the program, more than 35,000 university startups have been created, and almost 3 billion rubles have been raised," said Dmitry Chernyshenko.

The government-approved plan for the Decade of Science and Technology includes 12 initiatives, projects, and events. Overall, this year's results demonstrated increased interest in the Decade's activities.

The Presidium (Headquarters) of the Government Commission on Regional Development has made management decisions on 32 more unfinished construction projects included in the federal register of unfinished construction projects. Starting in 2026, working parents of two or more children will be able to receive an annual family tax payment. According to preliminary estimates, over 4 million families will benefit from this support.

More than 15 million families have already received maternity capital, and over 14.6 million families have used its funds in one form or another. For the sixth year in a row, maternity capital has been available not only to families having a second child but also to those raising their first child. All retraining programs for in-demand professions and skills are completely free. Furthermore, the state is willing to reimburse employers for the costs of adapting workplaces for employees with disabilities—up to 200,000 rubles per workplace—to ensure all the individual's specific needs and limitations are taken into account. These include drugs for the treatment of ankylosing spondylitis, as well as treatments for cancer, cardiovascular diseases, respiratory diseases, and neonatal pathologies. All of these drugs are already in clinical trials, meaning that if trials are successful, they will be introduced into clinical practice and made available to patients, the Deputy Prime Minister explained.

"Nine more drugs are under development, targeting relevant medical devices and are also part of our work to implement modern therapeutic solutions. Our main task today is to ensure that the achievements of this technological leadership project reach specific patients, specific consumers. We want these developments not to remain mere fundamental research on the shelf, but to truly provide help to people suffering from diseases that today are the absolute leaders in morbidity and mortality. These are primarily cardiovascular diseases and oncological diseases," the Deputy Prime Minister added.

She also recalled that in September 2025, a regional project dedicated to healthy longevity medicine was launched at the federal level. This project encompasses not only medical aspects but also the entire infrastructure for living. This is precisely what the Russian Government is working toward, creating the conditions for everyone to lead a healthy and fulfilling life, Tatyana Golikova emphasized.

Over the past five years, the volume of high-tech medical care provided has increased annually, noted First Deputy Minister of Health Viktor Fisenko. From 2020 to 2024, 6.86 million high-tech surgeries were performed, with 1.54 million performed in 2024 alone—14% more than planned, he noted.

Furthermore, the state is emphasizing culture as the foundation for fostering spiritual and moral values, a family environment, and the comprehensive development of the individual.
