Since the beginning of the year, more than 180 thousand electricity meters have been replaced in residential buildings free of charge. The work is being carried out by specialists from the city services complex. This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Housing and Public Utilities and Improvement Petr Biryukov.

"Activities for the centralized replacement of electricity meters in residential buildings are ongoing; this year we will update over 300 thousand meters, of which over 180 thousand have already been installed," noted Pyotr Biryukov. "The work is carried out free of charge, since from July 1, 2020, responsibility for organizing electricity metering in apartment buildings was transferred to Mosenergosbyt."

Old meters that have expired or are broken are being dismantled in Muscovites' apartments. The service life of new devices is 30 years.

Additionally, specialists install equipment that will allow connection to the intelligent electricity metering system. Residents will not need to transmit consumption data, the devices will do this automatically.

The second stage of the Alabushevo technopark, located in the Technopolis Moscow special economic zone (SEZ) in Zelenograd, is more than 75 percent complete. During the implementation of the integrated development of territories (IDT) project near the village of Yakovlevo in the Troitsky administrative district, three more buildings were built as part of a residential quarter. They are located on Lesnaya Street (house 111, buildings 5, 6 and 7). This was reported by Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Development Policy and Construction Vladimir Efimov.

"The area near the village of Yakovlevo is one of six KRT sites where active construction work is underway. An experimental residential microdistrict is being formed on a site with an area of 11.66 hectares. In addition to new buildings erected using large-scale modular technology, the project provides for the creation of the necessary infrastructure, including social infrastructure. In total, 12 residential buildings will appear on the site as part of the first stage of construction. The turnover of Moscow chemical producers amounted to 201.3 billion rubles in the first half of 2025. This is 36.6 percent more than the same period last year in comparable prices. "The capital's chemical production is a dynamically developing industrial sector. Growth is demonstrated by both industries focused on the production of consumer goods – cosmetics, household chemicals, and manufacturers of products in demand in construction, medicine and pharmaceuticals, and the automotive industry. According to the results of the first half of 2025, these enterprises earned 201.3 billion rubles, almost 37 percent higher than the figures for January-June 2024.
