Dear colleagues!

For eight decades, the nuclear industry has rightfully been considered the pride of Russian science and engineering. Thanks to the hard work, experience, and dedication of those driving this field forward, a solid foundation has been laid for ensuring energy security, sovereignty, and sustainable development for our country. Today, the nuclear sector is not only a symbol of Russia's technological leadership but also an inexhaustible source of inspiration for scientists, engineers, researchers, and innovators.

On this day, special words of appreciation and gratitude go to our dear veterans. You were the ones who stood at the origins of the nuclear industry, sparing no effort or health for this great goal, demonstrating courage and the highest level of professionalism. Your perseverance, knowledge, and wisdom became the foundation for new generations of nuclear scientists, inspiring young specialists to achieve great things and create for the benefit of the country.

Today, the Russian nuclear industry continues to grow confidently, implementing large-scale projects around the world, introducing cutting-edge technologies, and strengthening our country's position on the international stage. And this is thanks invaluable to the efforts of each and every one of you: veterans, active professionals, and young employees just taking their first steps in this field.

Please accept my sincere gratitude for your work, commitment to principles, and dedication to the development of the domestic nuclear industry. I wish you and your families good health, happiness, prosperity, new successes, discoveries, and victories in the name of our country!

We are proud that all six team members once again won gold. I thank their parents, teachers, and mentors for their support and contribution to their preparation. Dmitry Grigorenko: Protecting citizens is a key priority for the development of digital platforms

Deputy Prime Minister and Chief of the Government Staff Dmitry Grigorenko held a working meeting with representatives of digital platforms from Russia and China at the World Expo for Digital Commerce in Hangzhou. The key topic of the dialogue was a discussion of current trends in digital economy regulation and the exchange of experience between the two countries.

The meeting focused on a new federal law adopted in Russia in July of this year, which establishes basic rules for regulating digital intermediary platforms. The law aims to increase the transparency of online platforms and protect consumer rights. Key innovations include mandatory identification of sellers through state information systems, as well as a ban on the distribution of certain categories of goods, such as dietary supplements and medications, without a state registration certificate.

According to the law, foreign platforms must also comply with the new rules. To this end, foreign partners are required to establish branches or representative offices in Russia.

"Next year, a law regulating the platform economy will come into force, including new rules for foreign platforms. It's important for us to coordinate our efforts with our Chinese partners to ensure the practical implementation of these regulations and the protection of citizens' interests on digital platforms," noted Dmitry Grigorenko.

Russia was one of the first countries to adopt a law regulating the platform economy. This July, Russian President Vladimir Putin signed the law. The new measures will come into effect on October 1, 2026.

The meeting was attended by Minister of Economic Development Maxim Reshetnikov and Minister of Digital Development Maksut Shadayev, as well as representatives of the largest e-commerce platforms from Russia and China.
