WASHINGTON, Oct. 3 (Xinhua) — US President Donald Trump on Friday set Sunday as the deadline for Hamas to accept a 20-point plan to end the war in Gaza.

On his TruthSocial social media page, the US president wrote that Hamas is being given one last chance. An agreement must be reached by 6:00 PM ET on Sunday, or else "Hamas will face a hell like no one has ever seen."

He also called on Palestinians to immediately leave dangerous areas and move to safer parts of the enclave.

On September 29, the US presidential administration presented a 20-point plan for Gaza following talks between Donald Trump and Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu at the White House.

The plan calls for a ceasefire in exchange for the release of hostages, a phased Israeli withdrawal, demilitarization of Gaza, and international oversight of Gaza's reconstruction and governance after the conflict ends, as well as the exclusion of Hamas from the enclave's governance structure.

According to the terms of the deal, Israel will cease hostilities and withdraw to agreed-upon lines. Hamas must release all hostages and return the bodies of the dead within 72 hours of Israel's public acceptance of the agreement. In exchange, Israel will release 250 prisoners sentenced to life imprisonment and 1,700 Gazans detained after October 7, 2023. SHENZHEN, Oct. 4 (Xinhua) — A new international air route connecting the southern Chinese city of Shenzhen with Manado, Indonesia, was launched on Friday, marking the first use of a Chinese-developed passenger aircraft on an international route from Shenzhen.

The flight, operated by Indonesian airline TransNusa on a C909 aircraft, will operate three times a week. Flights depart Manado on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and Saturdays at 9:10 PM local time and arrive in Shenzhen at 1:00 AM the following day.

Those departing from Shenzhen at 02:00 on Wednesdays, Fridays and Sundays will land in Manado at 05:40 local time.

The launch of this route expands Shenzhen's air links with Southeast Asia, bringing the total number of destinations in Southeast Asia to 22 with direct passenger flights from Shenzhen.

Since entering commercial service in 2016, more than 160 C909 aircraft have been delivered, serving more than 10 airlines worldwide. To date, this model has successfully operated on over 700 routes and carried more than 24 million passengers.

On October 2, the scientific and practical conference “Technological Sovereignty Begins with Us,” dedicated to the 25th anniversary, was held in the conference hall of the new NSU classroom building. Considering the number of students enrolled on a state-funded basis, this is an excellent indicator for the entire university. I sincerely congratulate the faculty, wishing them prosperity and growth. We have high hopes for the development of the Faculty of Information Technologies and the IT industry in Akademgorodok. The number of individuals holding brokerage accounts on the Moscow Exchange (MoEx), as of the end of September 2025, amounted to 38.6 million (244,000 in September), with 73.1 million accounts opened. In September, 3.5 million people entered into transactions on the Moscow Exchange stock market, 339,000 of whom were qualified private investors.

Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev held a meeting to discuss the progress of the federal project "Forest Conservation" within the national project "Environmental Well-Being."
