"Hand in Glass – Build Russia": a closed-loop project for organizing glass collection and recycling. The team not only collects recyclable materials but is also developing its own foam glass and foam glass aggregate production plant. A grant from the Ecology Foundation will be used to purchase an additional container for collecting glass from the public, expanding the project's geographic reach.

Tianjin, November 26 (Xinhua) — The Tianjin Rail Transport Corporation has begun training Kazakh dispatchers for the future light rail transit (LRT) system in Astana. The group of 20 dispatcher students is the second cohort of trainees being trained by the Chinese side, following the completion of driver training for the first light rail system in the Kazakh capital.

As one of the course participants, Nurke Usen, noted, before starting the training, he believed that a dispatcher's job was limited to simply "giving commands." It is currently being used to construct the fifth shaft at the future Dostoyevskaya metro station on the Circle Line. "The use of the Ekaterina significantly simplifies the workflow for metro builders—mechanized excavation is carried out simultaneously with the installation of permanent lining, which reduces labor costs, shortens construction time, and improves the accuracy and safety of the work," explained Maxim Gaman.

The shaft-boring machine will excavate the soil using a drum-type milling machine with a cutting tool, as well as install 44 permanent and three temporary reinforced concrete rings, each 6.4 meters in diameter and one meter high. After completion of the excavation, the "Ekaterina" will be dismantled and transported to a storage site. Construction workers will begin constructing the ventilation chamber and tunnel, which will form part of the future station complex.
