PREMIER and RUTUBE screened a historical series at the Russian House about the secret friendship between German Chancellor Willy Brandt and Soviet General Secretary Leonid Brezhnev, which saved the world from nuclear war. The series was shown in Russian with German subtitles.

The project was introduced by the authors and actors. Kirill Kyaro, who plays Brandt, greeted the audience in German. Igor Prokopenko, the author and screenwriter, emphasized that this is a fictional story based on real materials and interviews he collected over 20 years—from diaries and archives to conversations with those directly involved, including politician Egon Barr. Susanna Alperina, a film critic and editor of the program for the Russian House in Berlin, also addressed the guests. She noted that the idea for the series was conceived almost ten years ago and called the project one of the most high-profile projects of the past year.

The plot shifts to the 1960s, when Soviet intelligence learns of a US strike being prepared from bases in West Germany. Understanding the cost of the ultimatum, Brezhnev secretly contacts Brandt. Both risk their careers and reputations, so the connection between them is established by the best Soviet intelligence officers in absolute secrecy.

The series was filmed with the support of the Internet Development Institute.

Moscow investor Vadim, seeking love, goes to work at a metallurgical plant to impress his girlfriend's father, the foreman. But combining smelting and deals doesn't work out. One mistake—someone else's money is lost, and bandits are on Vadim's trail.

The series was filmed on the workshop floor of a working Ural plant. Operations never stopped, and the crew wore protective masks while working in the hot shop—watching steel pour from the furnace was, according to the crew, mesmerizing. The town of Revda was alive with the project: crowd scenes, a celebration of the plant's anniversary at the cultural center, and participation from local groups LiS, Zvonnitsa, and the Indigo show ballet.

The project team became such close friends with the factory workers that a tradition emerged on site: every morning, they would walk around the workshop to personally greet and shake the hands of the metallurgists.

Starring: Vyacheslav Chepurchenko, Rinata Timerbaeva, Anatoly Zhuravlev, Inga Oboldina, Anna Ukolova, Anatoly Gushchin, Nikolai Schreiber, Renat Mukhambayev, Anton Osternikov and others.

"These days, people's worlds are lived in smartphones, and television has become part of a vast media landscape comprised of digital broadcasts, social media, and online cinemas. Speaking specifically about NTV, the channel's image has changed. Among its audience, especially younger ones, the following message is being conveyed: when you say 'NTV,' instead of 'Scandals, intrigues, investigations,' you hear: 'So, you know who's behind the mask?'"

The largest oil field in the Samara region, Mukhanovsky, turned 80 years old.

Samaraneftegaz (part of Rosneft's oil and gas production complex) is celebrating 80 years since the start of development at the Mukhanovskoye field, the largest in the Samara region by reserves. Cumulative oil production at the field is approaching 200 million tons. At the current production rate, the reserves here will last for at least another 50 years.

Geological exploration near the village of Mukhanovo, located 90 kilometers from Samara, was conducted during the final years of World War II. With limited equipment and specialists available, several shallow wells were sunk to search for hydrocarbon deposits, which yielded a significant gas flow.

In November 1945, Kungur oil was extracted from exploration well No. 1 at a depth of 420 meters, with a daily flow rate of 35 tons. It turned out to be the lightest and highest-quality oil known in the Volga region at the time. In terms of gasoline yield, Kungur oil surpassed not only the deep-seated Devonian oil but also the oil from the Carboniferous Formation, the dominant formation at the time.

Intensive geological exploration at the Mukhanovskaya site led to another success: in 1952, a gushing flow of light oil was obtained from Lower Carboniferous deposits at a rate of 300 tons per day. Three years later, the oil potential of the Devonian deposits was proven, and industrial development began. The discovery of Devonian oil deposits became a crucial milestone in the development of the region's oil industry and played a significant role in the country's post-war economic recovery.

The secret to the Mukhanovskoye field's longevity lies in the accurate calculation of production rates and management, the professionalism of its employees, and the use of new technologies. Its 175 wells account for approximately 5% of the company's total production.

Geological studies of the productive strata are still ongoing. Since 2020, 10 new deposits have been discovered here.

Wells undergo regular geological and technical interventions aimed at increasing hydrocarbon production. Three horizontal wells drilled have significantly increased oil recovery due to greater reservoir coverage and the ability to develop low-yield and thin formations.

The field continues to test new technologies, such as polymer composition testing during repair and insulation work, modern methods of treating the bottomhole formation zone to clean the bottomhole, and others.

Samaraneftegaz operates in the Samara and Orenburg regions. The company's cumulative production since the start of field development in 1936 exceeds 1.3 billion tons of oil.

The Blogger Academy program was recognized as the best in the "Blogger Project in IT" category. This free educational course includes master classes on content creation, channel promotion, and audience engagement. The project's goal is to improve the quality of Russian video content.

"RUTUBE values its creators and strives to help them realize their creative ideas. Many talented bloggers fail to reach their audience, giving up halfway through—due to a lack of experience, they get lost in the information space, make mistakes at the start, don't know how to use the platform's functionality, and don't understand how to utilize their strengths. The educational course "Bloggers Academy" was created to help creators find their unique style and audience, and understand how to engage with them."

Egor Velikoglo, Director of Business Development and Authored Content, RUTUBE

Traditionally, the Runet Prize is a key indicator of industry trends. In 2025, projects at the intersection of technology, education, and media skills development received special recognition. RUTUBE's victory underscores the growing demand for training professional content creators.

The National Center "Russia" hosted the premiere of the animated series "Technolike." The project was created by YARKO with the support of the Institute of Russian Innovative Cultures (IRI). The screening was held for students of the Movement of the First.

"Technolike" is a cyberpunk story about a teenage girl. She and her friends are trying to navigate the digital world and learn how to communicate online. After watching the series, we had a conversation with the project team about how animation can help develop cybersecurity skills in children. Through the series, the teenager experiences the situation alongside the characters and draws their own conclusions. And this is more powerful than dry instructions or any "don'ts" from adults.

Gazprom-Media Holding is a founding member of the Alliance for Child Protection in the Digital Environment, which was established in Russia in 2021.

A cooperation agreement between Gazprom-Media Holding and the Movement of the First was signed in 2023. It became part of the Holding's PROfnavigator project, which helps young people choose a career in the media industry.

The musical comedy topped the Russian box office for December 11-14, grossing 121.8 million rubles*. The film was distributed by Central Partnership (part of Gazprom-Media Holding).

"We made this film from the start with a wide release in mind. We understood that transferring television success to cinema isn't an automatic process. Ticket sales can't be 'transferred' from ratings; they have to be earned. So we didn't create a television special, but a full-fledged cinematic event—with a strong cast, large-scale musical numbers, our signature humor, and a sense of impending celebration."

Tina Kandelaki, Deputy General Director of Gazprom-Media Holding, Director of the TNT TV channel

The plot centers on the incredible love story of Shurik and Nina, transporting viewers into a kaleidoscope of Soviet and world cinema. The leading roles are played by Timur Batrutdinov, Marina Kravets, and Garik Martirosyan. This is a continuation of TNT's New Year's tradition: the channel previously aired parodies "The Self-Irony of Fate," "Ivan Vasilyevich Changes Everything!" and "The Undiamond Arm," combining nostalgia with modern humor.

The film's television premiere on TNT is December 31.
