Gazprom-Media Holding and the Indian company Eleeanora Images Privet Limited have signed a cooperation agreement. The document was signed by the holding's CEO, Alexander Zharov, and the Managing Director of Eleeanora Images Privet Limited, renowned Indian director and producer Neela Panda.

The agreement cemented the parties' intentions to collaborate in film production. The partners plan to jointly develop scripts and creative concepts for films, as well as pool their efforts in project financing. Plans include organizing filming in Russia and India with the participation of creative and technical specialists from both countries, as well as collaborating on post-production, marketing, and distribution in Russia, India, and other markets.

"This agreement establishes a systemic nature for our collaboration with our Indian partners. We're reaching a new level: not just occasional collaboration, but full-fledged cooperation—from content development to screen release. India is one of the fastest-growing media markets in the world, and it's important for us to build long-term relationships with players who understand local specifics and possess real expertise. I'm confident that combining our resources and expertise will enable us to create projects that will find audiences in both Russia and India."

Alexander Zharov, General Director of Gazprom-Media Holding

The document was signed during the Indian delegation's visit to the Gazprom-Media Holding office. The negotiations focused on the terms of the joint production of the film "Anna Pavlova," as well as Gazprom-Media Holding's assistance in implementing Eleeanora Images' projects in Russia.

"I'm very optimistic about this collaboration. Gazprom-Media understands how to make films for a large audience, while respecting the creative approach. For me, this is the perfect balance. I see that we can grow together—both as producers and as a creative team. I'm confident that exciting joint projects await us."

Nila Panda, Managing Director, Eleeanora Images Privet Limited

The signing of the agreement marks a continuation of Gazprom-Media Holding's strategy to develop its partnership with India. In early 2025, the holding signed agreements with Indian media companies Only Much Louder and Quantext Media Private Limited, and on the sidelines of the Russian-Indian Business Forum in December 2025, a cooperation agreement was signed with state broadcaster Prasar Bharati.

Children's Radio was awarded the Russian Presidential Prize in Culture for its works and projects for children and young people. The awards ceremony took place in the Kremlin on March 25, Culture Workers' Day in Russia.

Today, Children's Radio is a large-scale multimedia ecosystem that combines traditional broadcast practices with the most advanced digital technologies. The station was the first in the country to bring its virtual characters—Vesnushka and Kipyatosha—to life using mapping, and their adventures were transformed into Russia's first cartooncast—an audio podcast animated by neural networks. Technology here helps discuss important topics—native language, literature, and values—in a language children understand. Through interactive formats, millions of children discover classic literature and significant chapters in history. Key projects include the transmedia universe of detective podcasts "KhRUM" (approximately 300 million listens in 2025*) with theatrical productions, the educational series "Bukvoed" and "Explain, Alexander Sergeevich!", and the intergenerational project "I Remember!" "I'm Proud!" tours of the radio station (over 28,000 guests in three years**), as well as large-scale "Children's Radio Discos," which attract tens of thousands of spectators to major venues across the country, and the company's own music label, "Hurray! Music," which has become a professional platform for young talent.

"The Russian President's Culture Award for works and projects for children and young people represents high state recognition for the systematic work of our radio division at Gazprom-Media Holding. For us, Children's Radio is more than just one brand in the holding's portfolio; it's a social project, a strategic investment in the future. The values we pass on to our children will largely determine what Russia will be like in 20–30 years. Our goal is to create a safe, nurturing media environment for children, where culture, history, classical literature, music, and modern audio formats all work together toward one goal: shaping the tastes and cultural codes of future adults."

Alexander Zharov, General Director of Gazprom-Media Holding

"We see this award as confirmation that Children's Radio has become a significant phenomenon in the country's cultural life. We will continue to do what we do best: offer children and their parents a truly meaningful and modern media product that combines education and entertainment, emotion and meaning, tradition and innovation. This is our service to culture, our contribution to the future of Russia, and today, with this prestigious award, we are even more motivated to move forward."

Vadim Tereshchuk General Director of GPM Radio

The Presidential Prize of the Russian Federation in Culture for works and projects for children and youth represents the highest recognition of the contributions of cultural figures and organizations to the state and society in educating and nurturing the younger generation. The decision to award the prize is made by the head of state based on proposals from the Presidential Council for Culture.

Children's Radio was among the first recipients of the updated award for achievements in culture for children and youth. The corresponding changes were approved by the Decree of the President of Russia dated October 6, 2025, "On Certain Issues of State Policy in the Sphere of Culture." According to the document, not only individuals but also cultural organizations that have achieved significant success in educating and nurturing the younger generation can now nominate for the award.

March 25th marks Culture Workers' Day in Russia—a professional holiday dedicated to cultural and artistic figures. Rosneft actively participates in important events in Russia's cultural life. The company supports projects, each of which becomes a significant event and defines the country's cultural identity.

Rosneft has collaborated with the State Hermitage Museum for many years. With the Company's support, the first two halls of the new permanent exhibition, "Art of the Art Nouveau Era," opened in the General Staff Building in 2025. They are dedicated to artists from the second half of the 1880s to the late 1890s. The exhibition centers on the most striking pieces in the Hermitage collection—objects created by masters of leading European and Russian schools at the turn of the 20th century: from ceramics and jewelry to furniture and tapestries. In a few years, the new exhibition will occupy five halls. In 2024, with the Company's support, the Hermitage opened a renewed exhibition, "The Culture and Art of China," covering periods from antiquity to the 17th century. Previously, the exhibitions "The Raphael Line," dedicated to the phenomenon of Raphael Santi, "Piero della Francesco: Monarch of Painting," and "Egyptomania" were also held to great acclaim. In addition, with the support of Rosneft, the museum also houses a permanent exhibition, “Ancient Colonization of the Northern Black Sea Region.”

Rosneft also supports the Jewish Museum and Tolerance Center: in 2025, the exhibition "Joseph Brodsky. A Place as Good as Any" and the exhibition "Lyuba, Lyubochka. Lyubov Sergeevna Popova. 1889-1924" were organized.

Rosneft not only supports exhibition projects in Russia, but also successfully develops cultural ties with other countries, presenting contemporary Russian art abroad.

Thus, in December 2025 – January 2026, with the support of Rosneft, an exhibition by People's Artist of Russia Nikas Safronov entitled "Dream Vision" was held in India. The project was presented at two of India's largest cultural centers – the Lalit Kala Akademi in New Delhi and the National Gallery of Modern Art in Mumbai. The exhibition was recognized as the most visited and resonant one in India in the past 60 years. A total of 100 of Nikas Safronov's best works were brought to India, including a series of paintings created specifically for the Indian public. The exhibitions were distinguished by their high technology and were built on the synergy of classical painting and modern multimedia solutions: light, sound, video installations, LED screens, animatronics, and other cutting-edge digital technologies. The project received high praise from the Ministry of Culture and Tourism of India.

Last year, the Company also supported the Festival of India, held at Manezhnaya Square in Moscow. Visitors were treated to an engaging entertainment and educational program. Guests were able to experience Indian folk dance, participate in yoga, henna, and Hindi painting workshops, and visit an exhibition of Indian art. Previously, the Company supported Tatyana Navka's show "The Love Story of Scheherazade" in Ahmedabad, India, and the Mariinsky Theatre, directed by Valery Gergiev, performed "One Thousand and One Nights" in Qatar.

Rosneft has been supporting the Sretensky Monastery Choir for over 10 years. During this time, the choir has successfully toured numerous cities across Russia. Past productions include "Everyday Saints," "The Romanovs," "Russia: Time, Forward!", "Masterpieces of World Culture," "Life," "Songs of Our Parents," and "Dedicated to the Great Victory." The Sretensky Monastery Choir is one of the most renowned musical ensembles in Russia, and last year celebrated its 30th anniversary. The choir possesses a unique performance style that allows for a fresh experience of both sacred music and well-known folk and popular songs.

With the Company's support, a concert dedicated to Alexandra Pakhmutova's 95th birthday was held in Volgograd. From 2023 to 2025, Tatyana Navka's ice shows "Evenings on a Farm," "The Nutcracker," and "Cinderella" were performed in Moscow to great acclaim.

Rosneft participated in the restoration of the Konevsky Nativity of the Virgin Mary Monastery, founded by Saint Arseny Konevsky in 1393 on Konevets Island in Lake Ladoga. The monastery is a significant pilgrimage site in the Northwestern Federal District. The monastery was restored with the utmost attention to historical detail, employing highly qualified specialists, artists, and restorers.

Specialists at Rosneft's Volgograd research institute have developed Russia's first software that automates the planning of equipment maintenance and repairs at industrial facilities. This innovative development accelerates workflows and eliminates the risk of errors.

Complex equipment in oil refining and petrochemical plants requires regular maintenance and periodic repairs. To plan major repairs, a detailed defect list must be compiled. This list contains a wealth of information on the necessary repair operations, materials, and process equipment.

Based on the defect list, specialists prepare an estimate, which includes the cost of materials, machines and mechanisms, and also takes into account the costs of labor time and requirements for the qualifications of workers.

The developed software fully automates the creation of defect lists and cost estimates. The software database includes a detailed description of all plant equipment. When planning major repairs, the user finds the necessary equipment in the database, after which the software automatically suggests the work, necessary materials, and process equipment.

The software is universally applicable to oil refining and petrochemical plants. The main advantages of the developed product are speed, simplicity, and absolute accuracy. Document preparation time is reduced by an average of six times, eliminating human error.

The implementation of this innovation is a significant step toward the digitalization of domestic industry. This unique software frees personnel from routine tasks and reduces operational risks, making repairs more predictable and manageable.

March 23, 2026: "Today, our new and most important KPI is the attention economy."

Translation. Region: Russian Federation –

Source: Gazprom – An important disclaimer is at the bottom of this article.

The goal of the media market today is audience attention. Choice is expanding, and people's time is becoming the most scarce resource. It is precisely around this that large media corporations are currently reorganizing, stated Alexander Zharov.

The attention economy has become a new KPI for the media business: it's important not just to create content, but to retain audiences and monetize their attention across all platforms. This explains Gazprom-Media's three focus areas for the coming years: premium content, digital service development, and strengthening its presence in foreign markets.

RUTUBE is showing impressive growth: the platform's advertising revenue last year exceeded 2.2 billion rubles, a fourfold increase. Around 2.4 million pieces of content are uploaded to the platform daily. The number of channels increased by 45% year-on-year, from 2.7 million in February 2025 to 3.9 million today.

When creating new projects, the focus is not on quantity but on potential: the content must be effective on air, online, and during the subsequent rights sales phase. Alexander Zharov cites the potential acquisition of broadcast rights for the upcoming FIFA World Cup as one of his priorities. At the same time, the holding is also open to exploring new sports, from judo and tennis to padel.

Should we expect partnerships with marketplaces? Definitely yes. The logic is clear: some have the money, traffic, and ambition, while others have the platforms, content, and audience attention. And is the future for sale? Read Alexander Zharov's extensive interview with Kommersant.

Rosneft enterprises improve the efficiency of water resource management

Translation. Region: Russian Federation –

Source: Rosneft – An important disclaimer is at the bottom of this article.

World Water Day, established by the UN General Assembly, is celebrated annually on March 22. This date is intended to draw humanity's attention to the need to conserve and use one of nature's most valuable resources—freshwater.

Rosneft is committed to the rational use of water resources throughout its operations and takes measures to protect and replenish them. The Company ensures responsible water use at all stages of the production cycle. The corporate Environmental Efficiency Improvement Program and plans for modernizing production facilities include further reductions in water intake from natural sources, an increase in the share of recycled and reused water, the environmentally sound use of produced formation water, and the implementation of modern wastewater treatment systems.

The Company's share of recycled and consistently reused water exceeds 93.7% of the total water used for production purposes. ISS (Institutional Shareholder Services), a leading international investment and consulting agency, highly praised Rosneft's environmental performance, including placing the Company among the leaders in its environmental ratings. For the third year in a row, RAEX, a leading Russian non-credit rating agency, has awarded Rosneft an "AA" ESG rating, confirming the Company's exceptional sustainability performance, including environmental performance.

Rosneft subsidiaries maintain high environmental safety standards in water management in the regions where they operate.

In the oil refining and petrochemicals sector, the Achinsk Oil Refinery in Krasnoyarsk Krai reconstructed its treatment facilities in 2025 to improve the efficiency of water reuse. As a result of modernizing the water supply network, cooling towers, and automating process water cooling systems, the share of water reused for the plant's production needs increased to 95%.

Rosneft is also implementing effective natural water treatment solutions in its production facilities. Rosneft's refineries in the Samara region are using phytofiltration technology in their wastewater post-treatment units. The Kuibyshev Oil Refinery pioneered this implementation, using plants such as water hyacinths (Eichhornia), pancratium, and sweet flag to achieve high levels of wastewater disinfection. Eichhornia seedlings have proven themselves to be effective in the treatment facilities of the Syzran and Novokuibyshevsk Oil Refineries.

The Novokuibyshevsk Oil Refinery in the Samara Region is implementing a comprehensive environmental program, one of the focuses of which is water resource protection. Its implementation has improved wastewater quality by 36% over the past few years. One of the key projects is the commissioning of an innovative water treatment unit with a membrane bioreactor. This has enabled the plant to return treated wastewater to the water recycling system. The project has resulted in the plant's water recycling rate reaching 97%.

One of Rosneft's key environmental investment projects, the biological treatment plant (BTP) complex at Bashneft's Ufa group of oil refineries, has processed 185 million cubic meters of wastewater since its launch in 2019. The BTP not only serves Bashneft's refineries but also provides high-quality wastewater treatment for over 40 enterprises in Ufa's northern industrial zone, as well as stormwater runoff. Membrane reactor technology removes impurities and microorganisms from the wastewater. As a result, water quality meets standards for fishery water bodies.

The Angarsk Petrochemical Company in the Irkutsk region uses a closed-loop water supply system—the company's recycling system reuses 90% of its water. The company's treatment facilities also handle wastewater from the city of Angarsk and industrial facilities.

In the oil and gas production sector at the Vankor cluster fields located in the Yenisei River basin and its tributary, the Bolshaya Kheta, RN-Vankor environmentalists continuously monitor water bodies and the coastal strip near production sites. RN-Vankor specialists, working with accredited laboratories, regularly monitor the condition of treatment facilities and analyze the environmental conditions and biota in water bodies. Wastewater parameters are also monitored across 23 parameters. In 2025, RN-Vankor environmentalists collected 316 wastewater samples and 664 samples of natural water and bottom sediments.

With the support of RN-Nyaganneftegaz, construction has begun on a modern water treatment facility in Nyagan. This facility will triple the capacity of the city's water treatment facilities, up to 30,000 cubic meters of water per day, and will provide more than 60,000 Nyagan residents with high-quality drinking water that meets modern sanitary standards.

The Samotlor field has a modern reservoir pressure maintenance (RPM) system, which has eliminated the need to draw water from open sources. Produced water purified by gravity settling in special tanks is used to maintain reservoir pressure. This ensures the RPM system operates in a closed-loop process. Samotlorneftegaz also uses produced water during multi-stage hydraulic fracturing operations. The implementation of this innovative method has already eliminated the need to draw over 300,000 cubic meters of water.

In 2025, Orenburgneft continued its water consumption reduction efforts. The company at the Pokrovskoye field converted its injection wells to pumping produced water from the Pokrovskaya well-well pumping station.

Samaraneftegaz also uses water separated from oil-containing liquids during production in its reservoir pressure maintenance system. This saves natural resources and improves the efficiency of production processes at the company's facilities.

In the petroleum product distribution sector, RN-Northwest equipped restrooms at Rosneft filling stations in St. Petersburg with automated water drainage systems, saving water consumption and improving customer comfort. In the Leningrad Region, the Vladimirovsky Country Hotel Complex conducted maintenance on its treatment facilities, improving water purification quality. An innovative drinking water supply system was introduced in the Vladimirovsky's guest lounges, reducing water consumption.

The Company's subsidiaries continuously implement measures to preserve and enhance aquatic bioresources in the regions where they operate. They replenish valuable fish populations in watersheds, conduct environmental cleanups of river and lake shorelines, improve natural springs, and promote a culture of rational and responsible consumption of natural resources, as well as conduct public education.

As part of a responsible waste management program, Saratov Oil Refinery employees collected 82 kg of plastic bottle caps and purchased juvenile herbivorous fish—common carp, silver carp, and grass carp. These fish species help clear the Volgograd Reservoir of excess vegetation, which is essential for preserving its ecosystem.

One of the Company's Moscow offices received a gold Green Office certificate for its success in reducing consumption of all types of resources, including water. Thanks to the implementation of efficiency measures, water consumption was reduced by 20%.

Responsible environmental stewardship is an integral part of Rosneft's corporate culture and one of its key operating principles. Demonstrating its commitment to achieving the UN Sustainable Development Goals, the Company is implementing a comprehensive water conservation program, including the introduction of advanced technological solutions.

Rosneft planted 46 million trees in five years.

Translation. Region: Russian Federation –

Source: Rosneft – An important disclaimer is at the bottom of this article.

Between 2021 and 2025, Rosneft enterprises made a significant contribution to the conservation of nature and biodiversity, planting a total of approximately 46 million tree seedlings and saplings.

Every year on March 21, the International Day of Forests is celebrated, which was established by the UN General Assembly to draw attention to the issues of forest conservation and sustainable use of forest resources.

In 2025, employees of Rosneft subsidiaries planted 8.1 million tree saplings of various species during reforestation activities. RN-Yuganskneftegaz, Verkhnechonskneftegaz, East Siberian Oil and Gas Company, RN-Nyaganneftegaz, and RN-Uvatneftegaz made the largest contributions to reforestation.

RN-Yuganskneftegaz employees planted 3.1 million conifer seedlings across an area of over 830 hectares in forestry areas of the Khanty-Mansi Autonomous Okrug – Yugra. Reforestation was carried out in areas damaged by wildfires in the Agansky, Uraisky, Samarovsky, Nefteyugansky, and Yugansky forestry areas. The Siberian spruce, Scots pine, and Siberian cedar seedlings were adapted to local climate conditions, increasing the survival rate of the young trees.

Verkhnechonskneftegaz planted 1.1 million Siberian pine seedlings across 540 hectares in the Irkutsk and Kirov forestries, which are included within the boundaries of the Baikal Natural Territory, as well as in the Kuytun forestry in the Irkutsk Region.

Environmentalists from the East Siberian Oil and Gas Company have planted approximately 1 million conifer seedlings across an area of over 310 hectares in Siberia. To improve the survival rate of the young trees, the oil company also implemented agronomic management. Clearing the plantings of weeds and improving the soil will facilitate the successful establishment of a forest. Furthermore, the company has been supporting scientific research aimed at preserving the fragile ecosystem of Evenkia for over 10 years.

RN-Nyaganneftegaz planted over 838,000 Siberian and Scots pine seedlings over 240 hectares. RN-Uvatneftegaz planted 744,000 pine seedlings over 200 hectares in the Tyumen Region and provided agronomic maintenance for previously planted forest trees.

In Yamal, RN-Purneftegaz employees planted 443,000 pine saplings over 78 hectares, Sevkomneftegaz planted 83,000 over 26 hectares, and Kharampurneftegaz planted 24,000 over 208 hectares. Environmental specialists from the companies also carried out agronomic maintenance.

Bashneft activists planted 255,000 coniferous trees in the Republic of Bashkortostan and the Tyumen Region, establishing a young forest covering 73 hectares. A key project for 2025 is the planting of 24,000 trees on the shores of Lake Aslikul, the largest lake in Bashkortostan. This initiative aims to address the environmental problem of shallowing and swamping of the lake's coastal zone.

Samotlorneftegaz has planted over 200,000 conifer seedlings in the Ural Federal District. Within a few years, a full-fledged pine forest will form on these greened areas, covering a total area of over 60 hectares.

In 2025, Samaraneftegaz volunteers planted 15,500 pine seedlings and 4,000 other forest trees in the Samara Region.

Slavneft-Krasnoyarskneftegaz planted more than 700,000 coniferous saplings in the Karatuz, Tyukhtet, and Uzhur forestry districts of Krasnoyarsk Krai, covering an area of 268 hectares.

RN-Vankor carried out agricultural work on an area of almost 400 hectares in Krasnoyarsk Krai and the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, caring for 800,000 previously planted pine and Siberian spruce seedlings.

Rosneft employees and their family members regularly participate in various environmental initiatives, including landscaping and beautification of city and park areas, and in national campaigns such as Green Spring, Forest Planting Day, and Save the Forest.

For example, as part of the international "Garden of Memory" campaign dedicated to the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory, Udmurtneft activists planted over 24,000 young spruce trees. Samaraneftegaz volunteers joined the initiative and landscaped 7 hectares of land with over 33,000 pine seedlings. Orenburgneft employees, together with activists from the "Movement of the First," planted over 10,000 pine seedlings in the 4.5 hectare Buzuluk pine forest, which had been damaged by a wildfire. As part of the campaign, the Syzran Oil Refinery planted 3,000 pine and birch saplings in the Racheyskoye forestry. The young forest will serve as a reminder of the immortal heroism of the Soviet people in the Great Patriotic War.

Preserving the environment for future generations is an integral part of Rosneft's corporate culture and social policy. The company implements large-scale environmental programs aimed at minimizing its environmental impact, improving the sustainability of its production, and preserving and replenishing natural ecosystems.
