Rosneft has launched a food delivery service from its flagship gas station in St. Petersburg. Dishes from its signature café, "Zerno," are now available to residents and visitors of the Northern Capital.

This marks the first time in Russia that a full-fledged service platform has been created based on a gas station. Orders from the Zerno café can be placed 24/7 via the Yandex Go app. As part of the pilot project, delivery is available within a 10-kilometer radius of the flagship gas station, located near the Lakhta Center. Residents of the Kalininsky, Primorsky, and parts of the Vyborgsky and Petrogradsky districts are eligible for the service. Plans are underway to expand this service to other cities within the Company's distribution network.

The menu features over 30 items, from light snacks to full-fledged restaurant-quality hot meals. Guests can enjoy breakfasts, salads, soups, and main courses. Zerno Café is equipped with a modern, full-service kitchen with high-performance equipment and refrigeration units, allowing for fast and efficient service.

Expanding the range of gas station services is one of the Company's key retail business priorities. Rosneft is systematically introducing modern digital technologies at its gas stations and developing customer service for those on the go.

Reference:

Rosneft's retail network is the largest in Russia in terms of geographic coverage and number of stations. The Rosneft gas station brand remains one of the leaders in Russia in terms of recognition, fuel quality, and a wide range of non-fuel products. The Company operates approximately 3,000 gas stations in total.

"The Attraction of the Arctic": A photo exhibition supported by Rosneft opened in Moscow.

With the support of Rosneft, the annual outdoor photo exhibition "Attraction of the Arctic" opened on Tverskoy Boulevard in Moscow. The project was developed jointly with the non-governmental development institute Innopraktika. The exhibition aims to showcase the unique natural environment of the Arctic region and is open to the public until January 25.

The exhibition features images from the Company's environmental atlases, photographs from Rosneft's research expeditions, and images of production facilities. Residents and visitors to the capital can admire the stunning beauty of the flora and fauna of this northern region and learn about the extensive scientific research conducted in the Far North. Rosneft has been implementing a comprehensive scientific research program in the Arctic region since 2012.

During this time, the company has conducted over 60 expeditions in five Arctic seas, collecting a unique wealth of information about the region. Such large-scale scientific work has not been conducted since Soviet times. Geological, oceanographic, hydrometeorological, and environmental research is conducted jointly with the country's leading scientific institutes. The exhibition presents the full diversity of these research sites.

In 2024, the company launched a new biodiversity conservation program called "Tamura." Research is underway on the Taimyr Peninsula, studying reindeer, polar bears, valuable bird species, and fish in the Yenisei River estuary.

Rosneft, together with Innopraktika, also implemented a large-scale environmental project in the White Sea. During the expeditions, scientists retraced the route of renowned Soviet hydrobiologist Konstantin Deryugin, which he completed over 100 years ago. Experts concluded that the White Sea ecosystem remains stable. This allows the region to be considered a benchmark for comparison with other Arctic territories. However, research has revealed insufficient knowledge of the fauna of the Arctic seas: up to 30% of species remain of uncertain taxonomic status.

Scientists at the Arctic Research Center, together with Innopraktika, have developed a unique bio-product, "Oceanida," for the disposal of chronic hydrocarbon pollution. This year, the product received a positive assessment from the state environmental review.

The results of research into the Russian North make a significant contribution to science and are presented in a series of ecological atlases published jointly by the Company and Innopraktika. Since 2016, more than 10 scientific publications have been released, including: "The Kara Sea," "The Laptev Sea," "Marine Mammals of the Russian Arctic and Far East," "The Black and Azov Seas," "Species – Biological Indicators of the State of Marine Arctic Ecosystems," "The Barents Sea," and others.

Russia's first icebreaking tanker, the Alexey Kosygin, built at the Zvezda Shipbuilding Complex, departed Bolshoy Kamen Bay on its maiden voyage along the Northern Sea Route. Following successful sea and gas trials, the vessel was delivered to the customer, PAO Sovcomflot, for the Arctic LNG 2 project.

Zvezda Shipbuilding Complex is a high-tech, large-tonnage shipyard designed to build ships and marine equipment with a displacement of up to 350,000 tons. The project is being implemented at the request of Russian President Vladimir Putin in the town of Bolshoy Kamen in Primorsky Krai. Rosneft Oil Company is the project operator.

The Alexey Kosygin is the lead vessel in a series of LNG carriers being built at the shipyard. With their high ice class of ARC 7, the tankers can independently navigate through ice over two meters thick. The vessel holds 172,000 cubic meters of liquefied natural gas and is equipped with unique rudder-propeller units, also manufactured at the Zvezda Shipyard by the Sapphire plant. The LNG carrier is 300 meters long, 48.8 meters wide, and has a deadweight of 81,000 tons. Its propulsion system has a capacity of 60 MW.

The construction of LNG carriers strengthens the country's shipbuilding capacity and makes a significant contribution to achieving import substitution goals, ensuring the country's technological independence in the creation of critical Arctic infrastructure.

December 26, 2025: Why online cinemas are beating classic television

Translation. Region: Russian Federation –

Source: Gazprom – An important disclaimer is at the bottom of this article.

Viewers are increasingly choosing online cinemas because they can choose their own content—based on visuals, theme, trailer, or current mood. It's not the sheer number of premieres that holds viewers' attention, but the depth of the story: compelling drama, multifaceted characters, and genuine emotions that engage viewers and make them want to follow the story to the end.

"Of course, there are established TV networks, and there's a category of viewers who come to a specific show at a specific time. On the internet, whether it's paid or free, you find what you want to watch yourself: someone recommended it to you, saying you specifically want a comedy about love or an action movie about aliens."

David Kocharov, General Producer of PREMIER and RUTUBE

PREMIER has become a mature viewing destination: the platform deliberately avoids focusing on family and children's content. After lights out, the remote is handed back to parents—the online cinema opens, and their personal movie experience begins. Viewer time remains valuable: according to media consumption research, the average Russian spends about five hours a day watching videos. Competition for these hours drives demand for innovative solutions. For example, the hit "Overheard in Rybinsk" combines comedy, mystery, and drama, with the series' primary genre being detective fiction.

Why online cinemas have come of age, how genre-blending has become the new reality, and how TV series are helping regions develop—read here.

Rosneft has identified the best mentors for 2025.

Translation. Region: Russian Federation –

Source: Rosneft – An important disclaimer is at the bottom of this article.

The company announced the results of the "Best Mentor 2025" corporate competition. This year, a record 13,858 mentors from 101 subsidiaries participated. Based on the results of the competitive selection, 40 of Rosneft's best mentors and 16 subsidiaries—the leaders of the corporate integrated rating—were identified.

Rosneft's mentoring system is an important tool for accumulating and sharing professional knowledge, skills, and experience, and for engaging young workers and specialists in the corporate culture.

The competition is held annually in two stages. During the selection stage, the best mentors—226 blue-collar mentors and 241 young professional mentors—were identified at the companies. During the second stage, a ranking of the best mentors was compiled, taking into account each competitor's performance assessment.

The effectiveness of the mentoring system in subsidiaries was assessed based on a set of criteria in six business areas: Exploration and Production, Oil Refining and Petrochemicals, Internal Services, Corporate Services, Petroleum Product Supply, and Shipbuilding and Ship Repair.

A gala awards ceremony for the competition finalists was held in Moscow. They also participated in training on the use of artificial intelligence tools, mentoring skills, teamwork, and the exchange of best current practices.

Mentoring is the foundation for the transfer of professional experience, adaptation, and retention of young employees in the workplace. Mentors help recent graduates take their first steps in the profession and set a personal example of responsible work ethic. Furthermore, by teaching young people, mentors also hone their own professional and management skills.

Rosneft's enterprises implement comprehensive programs that combine the development of expert competencies and the development of teamwork skills. They actively utilize the resources of corporate training centers, equipped with modern methodological facilities and training grounds.

The company pays special attention to working with young professionals who participate in research activities with the support of experienced mentors. Annual scientific and technical conference of young specialists and the initiatives of the Councils of Young Professionals create a development environment for young people.

Gazprom-Media Holding is actively working with the younger generation interested in the media sector as a potential avenue for professional growth. Through the PROfnavigator project, the Holding helps young people choose a career in the media industry and develop pre-professional skills. Eleven events were held in December.

On December 5, at the conference "The Voice of Heroes: Tools, Practices, and Case Studies of New Media," Georgy Ryumin, creative producer at GPM KIT, held a master class titled "Stories Around Us: Storytelling Basics, the Concept of Film Language, and the Structure of a Good Story."

On December 6, Georgy Ryumin held a master class for student media directors and staff, titled "What a Producer Sees in Film: About the Hero, About Dialogue, About Understanding Complex Films, and Why Watch Them."

On December 9, students from the media class at School No. 630 visited Energy Radio Station and immersed themselves in the modern radio industry. Energy producer Bogdan Kantemirov led a fascinating masterclass on creating on-air content and radio show programming. The students interviewed Roma Mironov and Dasha Kudrich, hosts of the morning show "JOYSTICKS."

On December 11, Georgy Ryumin held a master class at the Insight People creative hub on the topic of "Creativity."

On December 15, GPM RTV experts Yulia Vugina, Irina Ovchinnikova, and Olga Turkina spoke to students at Far Eastern Federal University about powerful brand promotion tools and engaging audiences. The experts analyzed key brand promotion methods—collaborations, integrations, and PR—and demonstrated how they are applied in various industries. They focused on the role of communications management in the work of a modern professional and the versatility of marketing tools, which are equally effective in media, sports, and mass events. The experts shared practical case studies of project promotion and explained how to build communications around major events and brands. The students learned how collaborations and integrations help attract and retain audience attention, and how PR is becoming a strategic growth tool.

On December 16, the National Center "Russia" hosted the premiere of the animated series "Tekhnolike," created by YARKO with the support of IRI. The screening was held for students of the Movement of the First. "Tekhnolike" tells the story of a teenage girl in the cyberpunk genre. Together with her friends, she tries to navigate the digital world and learn how to communicate online. After the screening, a discussion with the project team took place about how animation can help develop cybersecurity skills in children. Through series, teenagers experience the situation alongside the characters and draw their own conclusions. And this is more powerful than dry instructions or any "don'ts" from adults.

On December 16-17, Georgy Ryumin recorded a podcast with four bloggers as part of the Insight People conference. Representatives of Gazprom-Media Holding also participated in a pitch session for 11 regional bloggers' media and social projects, titled "Insight People."

On December 22, Georgy Ryumin conducted a career guidance tour at the GPM KIT office for applicants to Film College No. 40.

On December 23, 220 students from media classes and the Yunarmiya (Youth Army) attended the RUTUBE New Year's Eve party, "New Year at Hogwarts," at the Moskva Concert Hall in Ostrov Mechty Park. The RUTUBE video service, in collaboration with the Imperial Orchestra, created a unique experience for fans of the Harry Potter universe and admirers of the music of legendary Hollywood composer John Williams, whose melodies feature in the famous film adaptations. The media class students combined business with pleasure, filming a report about their visit and interviewing the conductor of the Imperial Orchestra.

On December 24, Georgy Ryumin held a master class on production and a tour of the GPM KIT office for Yunarmiya students. The children also watched the film "Palma 2."
