September 27 marks World Tourism Day. Active roadwork continues, and by the end of the year, the number of renovated tourist route sites will increase significantly.

"Domestic tourism has a positive impact on improving the overall quality of life for Russians. Its development requires high-quality road infrastructure that allows both tourists on their own and in organized groups to comfortably reach their destinations. Tunnel in the Digorskoye Gorge, Republic of North Ossetia – Alania.

In the Republic of North Ossetia-Alania, thanks to a national project, the reconstruction of one of the region's most important facilities—a tunnel at the 21st kilometer of the Chikola-Matsuta-Komi-Art highway—has been completed. A high-quality road network is the foundation for dynamic regional development.
