During a working visit to St. Petersburg, Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin visited the Supreme Court complex under construction and the construction site of the new Maly Drama Theater – the Theater of Europe.

"St. Petersburg is a city with a rich history and beautiful architecture. Our task as builders is to ensure high-quality construction of new facilities that will blend with the historic architecture and serve the residents and visitors of the northern capital for many years to come. During the inspection of the Supreme Court complex, we discussed current issues with construction participants. The project is complex, and it is important to maintain a steady pace of work. Concrete work is currently underway at two sites—the Supreme Court building and the residential complex. Finishing work and installation of utility systems are ongoing at the Judicial Department, the Engineering Building, and the Boris Eifman Dance Palace," noted Marat Khusnullin.

The construction project for the Maly Drama Theatre – Theatre of Europe began in 2012. In 2021, the project was handed over to the company "Single Customer in Construction." Currently, specialists have completed the installation of stained glass windows and architectural lighting, are installing utility lines and waterproofing, and façade finishing is ongoing. The project is under the supervision of President Vladimir Putin.

Following an inspection of the theater under construction, the Deputy Prime Minister instructed his colleagues to increase the pace of work and the number of workers.

Tatyana Golikova launched the regional movement "For Healthy Longevity Medicine"

Translation. Region: Russian Federal

An important disclaimer is at the bottom of this article.

Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova participated in a press conference to launch the regional movement "For Healthy Longevity Medicine." The regional movement aims to become a key tool for achieving national goals in public health and promoting a culture of health preservation. The event was held at the Rossiya Segodnya International Multimedia Press Center. Also participating in the press conference were Deputy Chief of the Government Staff Olga Krivonos and First Deputy Director for Development of the Roscongress Foundation and member of the Civic Chamber Anastasia Stolkova. The discussion was moderated by TV presenter and editor-in-chief of the Doctor TV channel Evelina Zakamskaya.

"The regional movement 'For Healthy Longevity Medicine' unites medicine, culture, the media, politicians and public figures, bloggers, and volunteers around a single mission: to help people live longer and better lives. It is especially important to ensure equal access to a healthy lifestyle, healthy longevity medicine, and technologies for maintaining and developing cognitive health, including through culture and creativity, for residents of remote and rural areas. Only through joint efforts can we foster health preservation at all stages of life," noted Tatyana Golikova.

The event presented the movement's key areas of activity: developing and supporting regional health centers to improve their accessibility, promote their popularity, and monitor their effectiveness; creating mobile multidisciplinary teams of volunteers, healthcare workers, and cultural and sports figures to promote health-preserving practices; organizing traveling exhibitions, tours, and cultural events in remote and rural areas to support cognitive health and engage citizens in creative activities; encouraging physical activity, promoting healthy eating, and conducting large-scale educational efforts to foster a responsible attitude toward one's own health. The regional movement will become an important tool for achieving strategic goals in the area of public health and healthcare.

As Tatyana Golikova noted in her speech, the goal of prolonging healthy life and increasing its expectancy was set by Russian President Vladimir Putin. She explained that maintaining health involves a very broad range of tasks that can only be addressed with the participation of the individual.

Effective global national strategies for healthy longevity medicine include the following elements:

1. Pre-risk medicine with regular screening examinations.

2. Supporting a healthy lifestyle for citizens: access to sports infrastructure, outdoor activities, motivation to give up bad habits.

3. Cultural and spiritual-moral development of citizens.

4. Educational programs on healthy lifestyle for citizens and healthcare workers.

5. Promotion of healthy eating programs, correction with geroprotectors in case of severe deficiency.

All these elements are built around and for a person at the regional level.

National projects with new activities reflecting modern development trends are aimed at these goals. The national project "Long and Active Life" includes the federal project "Health for Everyone," which aims to modernize health centers to promote healthy longevity medicine. Last year alone, more than 38 million people visited these centers.

The functions of health centers are changing, and they are being reoriented toward identifying and addressing pre-risk factors for disease development. To this end, as part of the project, regions will purchase 247 medical devices this year alone for comprehensive assessment of body parameters, organ and system conditions, and disease prevention. The list of such devices was approved by a Ministry of Health order in June of this year. Furthermore, the Ministry of Health has prepared a draft order allowing regions to purchase additional equipment and expand their assessment capabilities.

To make healthy longevity medicine widely accessible, modern medical technologies are needed. These challenges are being addressed through the national project "New Health Preservation Technologies."

This combination:

· regenerative biomedicine, research on which we began back in 2023 as part of the federal project “Medical Science for Humanity”;

· development of biomarkers and panels that allow for a single examination to quickly determine biological age, assess body parameters, the state of organs and systems, as well as drugs that can prevent cellular aging processes;

· genetic research: predictive genetics, pharmacogenetics and nutrigenetics, research on which is carried out within the framework of the Federal Scientific and Technical Program for the Development of Genetic Technologies until 2030;

· conducting research aimed at combating age-associated diseases and their complications, including neurodegenerative diseases, cardiovascular diseases and diabetes.

A healthy living environment plays a vital role in prolonging longevity. A combination of environmental factors, dietary habits, physical activity, lifestyle, and strong social connections are key factors in promoting healthy longevity.

The national project "Family" includes measures to develop people's spiritual and moral potential and to strengthen the role of the family in a person's lifestyle.

"The main activities of the national projects are being implemented in the regions. The regional movement 'For Healthy Longevity Medicine' will help promote them. The movement's goal is to facilitate the development and promotion of healthy longevity medicine and health-preserving technologies, including a healthy longevity culture, among the population, in order to protect the health of citizens," emphasized Tatyana Golikova.

The regions will be responsible for implementing the movement's activities. The Government Office will coordinate the movement. Roscongress has been designated as the movement's operator.

To organize the movement's activities and events, regulations for the regional movement "For Healthy Longevity Medicine" have been developed. The highest executive body of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation must also establish a movement council, chaired by the governor or his or her deputy. "The council members must represent a wide range of industries. And, of course, each individual in their field must be able to clearly explain what they believe healthy longevity to be," the Deputy Prime Minister noted.

Dmitry Patrushev and Dmitry Demeshin discussed issues of agriculture and ecology in Khabarovsk Krai.

Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev met with Khabarovsk Krai Governor Dmitry Demeshin. The meeting focused on agriculture and the environment.

The parties also discussed the progress of the harvest campaign in the region. Dmitry Patrushev emphasized that farmers must be provided with all the necessary materials and equipment to carry out the work.

Particular attention was paid to environmental management issues. Specifically, construction of the new dam in Khabarovsk's Southern District has been completed. This 5.5-kilometer-long hydraulic structure is already fulfilling its primary function: protecting the coastal strip from flooding. The dam ensures the safety of an area home to approximately 200,000 people.

The Khabarovsk Krai Governor stated that the regional government has already developed a concept for the improvement of the site, which includes the creation of a fully-fledged recreation area.

The meeting also reviewed the progress of construction of a complex of protective structures in Komsomolsk-on-Amur. This large-scale project is being built along the banks of the Amur River and its tributaries and consists of three phases. The total length of the linear structures exceeds 28 km.

Dmitry Patrushev and Dmitry Demeshin also discussed the progress of the solid municipal waste management reform in the region. In Khabarovsk Krai, three major infrastructure projects are planned for construction in the coming years.

As part of the national "Ecology" project, work was underway in the region to create a comprehensive solid municipal waste management system and promote reforestation. Over 780 million rubles were allocated for these purposes. This work will be continued under the "Environmental Well-Being" national project, launched this year. Furthermore, attention will be paid to reducing hazardous emissions into the atmosphere.

Dmitry Chernyshenko: It is important to scale up the practice of holding national financial security Olympiads

Deputy Prime Minister of Russia Dmitry Chernyshenko, Director of Rosfinmonitoring Yuri Chikhanchin, Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Siberian Federal District Anatoly Seryshev, and Governor of Krasnoyarsk Krai Mikhail Kotyukov answered questions from representatives of the scientific community of the participating countries in the International Financial Security Olympiad. This year, 600 participants reached the finals.

The Deputy Prime Minister noted that the most important thing that can be done to develop the Financial Security Movement is to hold national events. He recalled the creation of the "Commonwealth" platform for training, communication, and development in the area of financial security.

"It's worth holding national Olympiads so that even higher levels of representatives can participate in the International Movement and the Financial Security Olympiad finals," the Deputy Prime Minister of Russia emphasized.

Dmitry Chernyshenko and Yuri Chikhanchin met with three generations of participants in the Financial Security Movement: schoolchildren, students, and adult professionals. The Deputy Prime Minister noted that this summer, the All-Russian Youth Forum of the Biryusa Youth Initiative held its first-ever session on financial security.

"We must understand that for you, the Olympics and the International Movement for Financial Security are, of course, a window of opportunity," the Deputy Prime Minister said.

He gave the participants some advice and advised them not to neglect the use of modern technologies in solving problems.

"We've brought together representatives of different generations here at this venue, and this is a unique gathering," noted Yuri Chikhanchin, addressing schoolchildren, students, and experts. "Today, young people possess cutting-edge technologies and knowledge, and the life experience of the older generation will help them solve complex problems and counter threats."

Dmitry Chernyshenko assessed the infrastructure of the regional extreme sports center "Sportex," which has been operating in the capital of Krasnoyarsk Krai for 16 years. The center currently hosts an interregional extreme sports festival, bringing together 3,000 participants from 11 regions of Russia and Kazakhstan.

Participants will be able to test their skills in open practical classes in five areas: BMX, parkour, scootering, trampoline freestyle, and rollerblading.

"Last year, as part of the presidential program 'Region for Young People,' we renovated the Sportex complex in Krasnoyarsk Krai to provide young people with the opportunity to participate in extreme sports. The center has already brought together over 1,300 young people, and it is currently hosting an interregional festival for those who promote sports and a healthy lifestyle in their regions," noted Grigory Gurov, head of the Federal Agency for Youth Affairs.

The program to relocate residents from dilapidated housing is being implemented as part of the national project "Infrastructure for Life." It is overseen by the Ministry of Construction and operated by the Territorial Development Fund.

"Following a review of applications received by the fund from 39 regions, funding totaling 19.6 billion rubles was approved for the new phase of the program. This will allow approximately 31,200 residents of dilapidated buildings, covering approximately 566,000 square meters, to move into new apartments. This collaborative effort is aimed at providing them with comfortable living conditions," noted Vasily Kupyzin, CEO of the Territorial Development Fund.
