BEIJING, March 21 (Xinhua) — China's first 550-MW F-class gas turbine unit has successfully completed a 168-hour full-load test and officially entered service, marking a new breakthrough in the application of high-efficiency, large-capacity clean energy equipment, China Huadian Corporation Ltd. announced on Saturday.

Astana, March 21 (Xinhua) — Horse meat consumption in Kazakhstan reached a record high in 2025, Kazinform reported on Saturday, citing the DATA HUB Telegram channel.

In Q4 2025, per capita consumption was 2.35 kg, the highest level for any quarter in at least 15 years, an increase of 10.7 percent year-on-year.

By the end of the year, horse meat consumption reached 7.63 kg per person, also setting a new record, while total meat consumption was 84.4 kg.

NEW YORK, March 21 (Xinhua) — The U.S. Treasury Department on Friday issued a general license temporarily lifting sanctions on Iranian oil at sea for 30 days to ease supply shortages amid shipping disruptions in the Strait of Hormuz.
