Beijing, December 3 /Xinhua/ — On December 1, Russian President Vladimir Putin issued a decree allowing Chinese citizens to travel to Russia visa-free for up to 30 days until September 14, 2026, based on the principle of reciprocity.

"This innovation will further increase Chinese tourists' interest in traveling to Russia this winter," the newspaper Zhongguo Wenhuabao (Chinese Culture) reported on Wednesday, citing industry insiders. It added that border officials at the Chinese-Russian border are predicting a rapid increase in tourist flow from China to Russia.

Jerusalem, December 3 (Xinhua) — The Rafah crossing, a key border crossing between Egypt and Gaza, will reopen in the coming days to allow civilians to leave the enclave, Israel announced in a statement on Wednesday.

BEIJING, December 3 (Xinhua) — China's services trade volume maintained steady growth in the first 10 months of this year. Total imports and exports reached nearly 6.58 trillion yuan (approximately $930.5 billion), up 7.5 percent year-on-year, the Ministry of Commerce reported Wednesday.

Islamabad, December 3 (Xinhua) — At least three police officers were killed and one was injured on Wednesday when a police vehicle was blown up in Dera Ismail Khan district of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa province in northwestern Pakistan, local police said.

A police officer, who wished to remain anonymous, told Xinhua that the police unit was on patrol at the time of the incident.

Unknown terrorists threw a hand grenade at the police and opened fire on them, killing three police officers.

Police, security forces and rescue teams arrived at the scene and transported the bodies of the dead and injured to a nearby hospital.
