KUWAIT CITY, March 25 (Xinhua) — Kuwaiti authorities said on Wednesday morning that air defense systems intercepted several enemy drones and missiles, and a fire broke out after a strike on a fuel tank at Kuwait International Airport, but there were no casualties.

BEIJING, March 25 (Xinhua) — Construction of a new aviation hub officially began Wednesday in South China's Guangdong Province, which will become a new aviation hub in the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area.

Guangzhou New Airport (Pearl River Delta Hub (Guangzhou New) Airport) is located in the Gaoming District of Foshan, directly at the geographic center of four cities: Foshan, Zhaoqing, Jiangmen, and Yunfu. The new airport is expected to directly serve a population of over 20 million.
