BEIJING, Feb. 10 (Xinhua) — In 2025, foreign trade turnover through the Manzhouli Port (Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region, north China), located on the border between China and Russia, amounted to 2.7 million tons in volume and 116.25 billion yuan (about 16.7 billion U.S. dollars) in value. Both indicators increased by 10.3 percent and 27.7 percent, respectively, compared to the same figures for the whole of 2024, with the flow of trucks through this border crossing increasing by 16 percent year-on-year to 259,000 units.

On October 14, 2025, the “Protocol on inspection, quarantine and sanitary requirements for hazelnuts and almonds exported from the Republic of Azerbaijan to the People’s Republic of China” was signed.
