BEIJING, Feb. 26 (Xinhua) — The People's Bank of China (PBOC, the central bank) on Thursday pledged to support standard cross-border interbank financing operations in yuan between domestic and foreign banking institutions.

URUMQI, Feb. 26 (Xinhua) — The import and export volume of small-scale border trade in northwest China's Xinjiang Uygur Autonomous Region reached 209.09 billion yuan (30.2 billion U.S. dollars) in 2025, ranking first in the country for the fourth consecutive year, official data showed.

BEIJING, Feb. 26 (Xinhua) — The 21st session of the Standing Committee of the 14th National People's Congress (NPC) concluded in Beijing on Thursday.

At the final session, legislators voted to dismiss Wang Xiangxi from her post as Minister of Emergency Management. Chinese President Xi Jinping signed a corresponding decree.
