Thanks to the implementation of the "Infrastructure for Life" national project, over 1,500 buses and trams will be delivered to the constituent entities of the Russian Federation this year through the Ministry of Transport. In 2025, regions will purchase public transport rolling stock through subsidized, federally funded leasing programs for JSC GTLK and through comprehensive urban electric transport development projects under a concession model.

Systematic work is underway to improve public transportation, not only in large metropolitan areas but also in medium-sized and small towns and rural areas. The Kurgan Region is also actively working to upgrade its public transportation fleet, utilizing both federal and regional funds. The new KavZ and SimAZ buses will be deployed on routes serving areas with the highest passenger traffic and on routes undergoing complex development.

New public transport will also be available in the Orenburg Region thanks to preferential leasing from JSC GTLK. By the end of the year, 80 medium-class SimAZ buses are scheduled to be delivered to Orenburg, 15 of which have already been accepted by the city. Another 65 medium-class SimAZ buses will arrive in the regional capital by the end of November.

Active work to upgrade public transportation in Russian cities began five years ago as part of the "Safe, High-Quality Roads" national project. The official opening ceremony of the student dormitories at the Neimark IT campus was held in Nizhny Novgorod. Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Chernyshenko, Nizhny Novgorod Region Governor Gleb Nikitin, and students from Nizhny Novgorod universities studying IT programs attended the ceremony.

Just three or four years ago, this site was a slum, right in the city center, not far from the Kremlin. Now, these aren't just walls of buildings; they're educational programs, industrial partners, and top students striving to gain admission to the Neimark program. On the one hand, today marks the completion of the first stage of the IT campus, and on the other, it's the beginning of a long journey. I want Neimark to become one of the best universities in the world, so that its name becomes a symbol of the best education in every corner of the world," he noted.

The Governor thanked Russian President Vladimir Putin and the Government, headed by Mikhail Mishustin, for the opportunity to implement this project in Nizhny Novgorod.

The campus infrastructure includes equipped student living quarters, study areas, public spaces, underground parking, and premises that will soon house cafes and retail outlets.

A technology park will be located in close proximity to the hotel complex, where flagship Russian IT companies will be able to open offices. The new dormitories will accommodate not only students enrolled in Neimark programs but also students majoring in IT from other Nizhny Novgorod universities. This approach will encourage the exchange of experiences and ideas, naturally fostering the formation of startup teams and an interdisciplinary IT community.

The modern dormitory complex is distinguished by its high-tech features. It is implementing an artificial intelligence system that will ensure safety and security throughout the campus.

Sber, together with the Neimark IT campus team, also developed a standard smart campus solution, which includes the integration of smart home technologies into student living rooms, interactive equipment and services for study and work, and the GitVerse Education Pack platform with AI support. This standard solution includes the GigaDoc multimodal AI-powered medical assistant. Using facial video, it assesses a person's health status, including heart rate, body mass index, type 2 diabetes risk, cholesterol levels, and other indicators.

The Deputy Prime Minister and Governor assessed the campus infrastructure and thanked Sberbank President and Chairman of the Management Board Herman Gref for the technological solutions.

The heart of the IT campus project is Neimark University, which combines student education and cutting-edge research. University Director Gulnara Bikkulova noted that in 2025, five educational programs, jointly developed by Nizhny Novgorod universities and leading Russian IT companies, will be implemented there: AI and computer vision, artificial and augmented intelligence technologies, information security, microelectronics, and digital technologies in construction. More than 2,000 applicants have applied for these programs.

Once the IT campus project is fully completed, it is expected that more than 8,000 students from the Nizhny Novgorod region, other regions of Russia, and the world will be able to master advanced digital professions.

In 2025, half a billion rubles will be allocated to subsidize loans for construction companies building housing in small towns. Prime Minister Mikhail Mishustin signed the corresponding order.

This applies to developers working under the project-based financing mechanism for housing construction. Federal funds will provide them with preferential loans at a 12% annual interest rate. To qualify, they must have a project for the construction of new housing in cities or towns with a population of up to 100,000, and use escrow accounts to attract funds from equity holders.
