During his working visit to Dushanbe, Deputy Prime Minister and Chief of the Government Staff Dmitry Grigorenko met with representatives of Russian businesses developing in the Tajik IT market. The main topic of discussion was the development of Russian IT solutions exports to CIS countries, including Tajikistan. The meeting was held at the Russian Federation Trade Mission in the Republic of Tajikistan.

The meeting with the Deputy Prime Minister was attended by Russian IT and communications companies based in Tajikistan, which have been successfully exporting their solutions for several years. They discussed the specifics of working in the local IT market, the key achievements and challenges they have encountered, and proposed future development directions for Russian companies in the republic.

According to Maxim Maximov, the Russian Federation's "digital attaché" in Tajikistan, the most promising areas of digital cooperation are infrastructure projects to develop communications and data centers. Tajikistan is also seeing a rise in the popularity of mobile apps and QR payments, leading to increasing export potential for Russian financial technology solutions, particularly those using artificial intelligence to personalize customer experiences and improve service quality. Among the promising areas of IT export to Tajikistan, the "digital attaché" noted public administration services and the digitalization of government services. Tajik authorities are also showing growing interest in Russian cybersecurity products.

"The successful operation of Russian IT businesses in the international market confirms the high export potential of domestic solutions. I would like to point out that the quality and competitiveness of these developments are so high that they are not only in demand by private international companies but are already being implemented in government agencies. This is evident in Tajikistan, where Russian developments form the basis of government services for the education sector and the Smart City geoanalytics system. Russian IT businesses have much to offer their international partners. The government recognizes the potential of domestic solutions and is prioritizing the establishment of regular and effective IT exports," noted Dmitry Grigorenko.

Russian IT companies are already operating in the Tajik market, and according to the trade mission, demand for cooperation is growing. For example, the cyberthreat prevention solutions developed by Code Bezopasnosti LLC are in high demand in the country. The company's products have already been implemented in key institutions in the country, including major state-owned banks.

MegaFon Tajikistan is also implementing large-scale joint projects with its Tajik partners. It currently holds a leading position in the local market by subscriber base. The company is developing the country's communications infrastructure: upgrading base stations, installing fiber-optic lines, and launching the latest VoLTE audio technology.

The ERA Group of Companies, founded by Russian entrepreneurs, is also addressing infrastructure issues in Tajikistan. Its main project in the country is the creation of an electronic map of Dushanbe – the first of seven stages of the large-scale Dushanbe Smart City project, scheduled for completion by 2029. It involves integrating the latest digital technologies into the city's infrastructure to provide Dushanbe government agencies with real-time access to city data. Russian developers have already completed the design of the digital system, the development of the software, and the digitization of data from the first city agencies and departments. The next stages will include integrating the system with other public and private sector platforms, as well as conducting regular overflights of the city using surveying drones.

The Wildberries marketplace is demonstrating successful development in Tajikistan, having established a leading position in the digital platform market within just a few years. The company has established a full cycle of cross-border deliveries and logistics, and has also established a network of pick-up points in the country's main cities. By the end of the year, Tajik producers will be connected to the system, allowing them to export their goods to all countries where the marketplace operates.

Construction of the Center for Innovative Educational Technologies is nearing completion at the Solnechny camp on the grounds of the Artek International Children's Center. Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin announced this.

"The development of children's infrastructure directly impacts the quality of life of the younger generation. Modern facilities become centers of attraction, where schoolchildren engage in sports, creative activities, and socialize. This comprehensive approach fosters a healthy society and a confident future. Artek is a unique children's center that has remained a symbol of a happy childhood for a century, a place where character is forged, talents are discovered, and lifelong friendships are forged. We are undertaking extensive work to build new and renovate existing facilities at Artek as part of the state program for the socioeconomic development of the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol. Construction of the Center for Innovative Educational Technologies at Artek is currently nearing completion," said Marat Khusnullin.

The Deputy Prime Minister added that work on the center's building is currently 90% complete. Specialists are currently installing modern technological equipment and furniture. Finishing work and the installation of internal engineering systems are also nearing completion.

The center is designed to accommodate 1,200 students. In addition to classrooms, it will feature rehearsal and performance spaces, an amphitheater, modern workshops and laboratories, a 700-seat multi-purpose auditorium, and much more.

"Currently, construction workers are actively improving the surrounding area. Specialists are creating walking areas with designated areas for team members, completing the street and road network, and landscaping. All construction and installation work on the site is scheduled to be completed by the end of 2025," noted Karen Oganesyan, General Director of the Unified Customer Production and Consulting Company.

Konstantin Fedorenko, Director of the Artek International Children's Center, expressed gratitude to the builders, engineers, and everyone involved for their work, professionalism, and dedication in creating the new center.

"The work has reached the final stretch, and this is a truly significant event for all of Artek. We are creating not just an educational space, but a unique environment for developing talent, unparalleled in Russia. The center will combine cutting-edge classrooms, rehearsal rooms, modern laboratories, and a robust infrastructure for expressing oneself and learning new things. There truly is no other project for children of this scale and this level of equipment in the country today. The Russian Ministry of Transport and Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University have signed a cooperation agreement, which will be a key element in the implementation of Russia's Transport Strategy to 2030 with a forecast to 2035. The document was signed by Transport Minister Andrey Nikitin and SPbPU Rector Andrey Rudskoy.

The agreement aims to unite the efforts of the state and a leading polytechnic university to develop the country's transport industry, enhance its scientific and technical potential, and implement advanced digital technologies.

The cooperation includes work in several priority areas. Joint research and development work will be conducted with transport sector organizations, aimed at addressing pressing global challenges in the scientific and technological development of transport. Particular attention will be paid to expert analytical reviews of internationally recognized technologies and techniques, as well as experimental research in all modes of transport.

Furthermore, the practical implementation of research and development results is expected. An important aspect will be the creation and development of regulatory and reference information systems, industry databases, classifiers, and methodological materials that will facilitate informed decision-making in the field of transport development.

One of the most important areas of cooperation will be the training, retraining, and advanced training of transport industry specialists, taking into account the current and future needs of organizations.

The agreement opens new horizons for the development of Russia's transport system, uniting science, industry, and education to achieve strategic goals and improve the quality of life for citizens, commented Transport Minister Andrei Nikitin.

Key areas of joint activity include: research and development in digital technologies and intelligent transport systems; expert analysis on advanced solutions in automobile, rail, sea, air, and urban electric transport; practical implementation of research results; development of regulatory information systems and industry databases; and training, retraining, and advanced training for transport industry specialists, taking into account its current and future needs.

Undoubtedly, developing competencies in transport design and implementation is a crucial factor in improving the efficiency and sustainability of the road network in the face of increasing mobility, climate challenges, and technological pressures, emphasized Andrey Rudskoy.

Deputy Minister of Transport Konstantin Pashkov, Head of Rosavtodor Roman Novikov, and Rector of SPbPU Andrey Rudskoy also approved a roadmap for 2025–2030, including the development of research and development activities to improve the durability and safety of highways, the development of national standards and regulatory documentation, the development of infrastructure for driverless vehicles, and the training of engineering and technical personnel and road industry managers.

To implement the roadmap's activities, a Research and Educational Center for Road Pavement Modeling will be opened at Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University within the Institute of Civil Engineering.
