Before the start of the tenth, anniversary Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok, the readiness of the Voin center site at the Far East Street exhibition was personally assessed by Deputy Prime Minister – Presidential Plenipotentiary Representative in the Far Eastern Federal District, Chairman of the Organizing Committee of the Eastern Economic Forum, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of the Voin center Yuri Trutnev.

Together with the commander of the "Voin" center, Hero of Russia, participant of the presidential program "Time of Heroes" Andranik Gasparyan and the cadets who work at the site, they inspected the pavilion, got acquainted with the activities presented and talked with the instructors.

"The Voin Center is presented for the first time on Far East Street, and this is symbolic. Here, in the Far East, where strategic tasks of the country's development are being solved, we show how a new generation of patriots is being brought up. The Voin Center site is a place for a lively dialogue with young people, an opportunity to involve young people in an important matter – serving the Motherland. Especially considering that master classes will be held there not only by instructors, but also by cadets – those who themselves have recently mastered the necessary military-applied skills and can show by their own example that this is important and necessary. I am sure that everyone who visits the center's pavilion will see that the future of Russia is in good hands. Real leaders are being trained here, capable of protecting the interests of the country and developing its potential," said Yuri Trutnev.

From September 3 to 9, forum participants will be able to visit a unique military sports town, where on an area of more than 500 square meters, instructors and cadets from the DPR, LPR, Buryatia, Chechnya, Khabarovsk, Kamchatka Krai, Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous Okrug, Zaporizhia, Kherson, Sverdlovsk, Murmansk, Tyumen, Kemerovo regions will conduct master classes and talk about the features of training at the Voin center.

In the military sports town, guests will master first aid and tactical medicine techniques, learn to operate UAVs and ground drones, shoot both laser weapons and air rifles from the Kalashnikov concern. They will be able to disassemble and assemble AK-74M and AK-12 assault rifles, Makarov, Yarygin and Lebedev pistols and play a team game of laser tag. They will also master karate, sambo, taekwondo and kickboxing techniques under the guidance of coaches and prize winners of the Russian Union of Martial Arts of Primorsky Krai.

As a keepsake from the Voin center site, not only the necessary military-sports skills will remain, but also prizes for completing the military-sports quest “Victory will be ours.”

Rosreestr employees will provide consultations on all types of benefits and social support measures for SVO participants, combat veterans and their family members. They will also organize an interactive game "Feel like a land inspector", where guests will be able to control a drone on a simulator to identify and record violations of land use.

In addition, samples of high-tech products from the Patriotic Trade and Exhibition Center will be presented at the Voin Center site and nearby, including a modern snow and swamp vehicle, an electric enduro, innovative FPV drones and aircraft-type UAVs, body armor, thermal imaging sights, turnstiles and electronic warfare systems.

Changes to the procedure for state examination of design documentation, approved by the Government Resolution, came into force on September 1, 2025. The new regulations will reduce the administrative burden on developers and speed up the implementation of investment and construction projects. This was reported by Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin.

"The government continues its systematic work to eliminate excessive administrative barriers in the construction industry. The decisions made make it possible to simplify the procedure for passing state examination, make it more transparent and reduce the time frame for project implementation. For developers, the provision of seven types of documents is eliminated, which will reduce the burden on businesses and speed up the receipt of permits. This is another step in improving the business climate in the construction industry. Improving the regulatory framework in the construction sector is an important part of the work to accelerate the pace of housing construction and improve the quality of the construction industry," said Marat Khusnullin.

The Deputy Prime Minister added that it became possible to make changes to the application for state examination and eliminate technical errors in the conclusions of the state examination. The procedure for additional extension of the examination deadlines has also been optimized.

At the same time, the list of registry information available free of charge on the Internet for all interested parties is being expanded.

Also, from September 1, a government decree came into force that sets the rules for the conservation of construction projects. It is carried out to suspend construction work for more than six months.

Decisions on the conservation of capital construction projects of state (municipal) property, the construction or reconstruction of which is carried out in whole or in part at the expense of the federal budget, will be made by the Government of Russia, state property of a subject – by the highest executive bodies of the subjects, and municipal property – by local administrations.

For private properties, the previous procedure remains in place – decisions are made by the developer.

The VII Federal Forum "Productivity 360" will be held in Moscow.

On November 6 and 7, the 7th Federal Forum "Productivity 360" will be held at VDNKh in Pavilion No. 57 "Russia – My History". Organizers: the Ministry of Economic Development and the Federal Competence Center in Labor Productivity.

Productivity 360 is the country's key event for exchanging experiences in the field of lean manufacturing, which over the past 7 years has secured its status as an authoritative platform for developing specific solutions to improve the efficiency of the country's economy.

"The task for the coming years is to turn work on increasing labor productivity into a management norm at all levels. Today, this is not just an economic issue, but a key mechanism for achieving national goals and sustainable growth," noted Deputy Prime Minister Alexander Novak.

Acceleration of the structural transformation of the economy through the growth of its efficiency will be the focus of attention on the first day of the forum. The discussion will focus on changes in the structure of employment, consumption, and technological development in key industries.

The core of the discussion participants will traditionally be businesses with revenues of 400 million rubles or more – both those already included in the federal project and companies that want to join it. These are manufacturing, transport and construction companies, and companies from the tourism sector.

"During its existence, the Productivity 360 Forum has strengthened its reputation as a significant event in the business calendar. It has become a point of attraction for business, experts and government, a platform where new ideas are born. Participants will have the opportunity to exchange best practices, get acquainted with relevant tools for increasing labor productivity and establish partnerships with the strongest market players. The forum has become not just a discussion platform, but a real think tank that forms a strategy for the development of labor productivity in Russia," said Maxim Reshetnikov, Minister of Economic Development.

On the instructions of the President, in the new project cycle, work to improve efficiency will cover not only enterprises in the real sector of the economy, but also all institutions in the social sphere.

The first results of work in the areas of social protection, healthcare, education, culture and sports will be discussed during the second day of the forum.

"The main achievement of recent years is that lean manufacturing has ceased to be a narrowly specialized practice of industrial enterprises. It has become a mass ideology, understandable and in demand in various fields. Today, its tools and approaches are actively implemented not only in factories, but also in the service sector, in budgetary organizations, in the social sphere," noted FCC General Director Maxim Papushenko.

The Productivity 360 Forum is not only a large-scale discussion platform, but also a practical tool for companies that strive for growth and competitiveness. Here, participants gain access to best practices, learn new tools for increasing efficiency, and find partners among the strongest market players.

Entry to the forum is free. You can register and familiarize yourself with the program on the official event website.

Journey into the world of students: the Polytechnic University hosted the Day of the Firsts festival

Translation. Region: Russian Federal

Source: Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University –

An important disclaimer is at the bottom of this article.

On September 1, the Polytechnic opened its doors to first-year students. This year, more than 5,000 people became part of the large Polytechnic family. At the festival "Day of the First", newly minted students, under the guidance of adapters, plunged into university life and got acquainted with the diversity of scientific and creative communities, as well as with the university's partners.

At the “Step to Science” station, first-year students talked with representatives of the Student Scientific Society, saw exclusive developments of polytechnics, studied the structure of robots and learned new scientific terms.

The Polytech Tower opened the “Step to the Future” station, where the kids could get acquainted with innovative student projects. Here they talked about how to create your own robot and develop a technology startup, how to build your professional development trajectory and find a team of like-minded people. And first-year students also had a unique opportunity to see the robot Honey Badger, who took third place ininternational championship "Battle of robots".

Gleb Sedov, a student at the Institute of Computer Science and Cybersecurity, came to enroll in the Polytechnic from the city of Stupino in the Moscow region, having 292 points for the Unified State Exam.

I read a lot about the Polytechnic University, talked to students about my chosen specialty (software engineering) and came to the conclusion: although it is more difficult here than in other universities, it is much better. At the festival, there is an opportunity to get cool prizes and communicate with people from various fields and organizations, – said Gleb.

At the Step to Creativity station, KVN players, PolyDance dancers, actors from the Glagol Theatre, the Polytechnic Student Theatre and participants in the Polytechnic Star project presented bright numbers and held interactive sessions with first-year students, charging the kids with positive emotions.

Activists of the SPbPU Dobro.Center and partners of the Volunteer Ecosystem organized the "Step to Good" platform. Together with them, first-year students were able to participate in various quizzes, trainings and games, learn about volunteer campaigns and take a mini-course on first aid.

The trade union organization "PROF" opened up new opportunities for first-year students. There were sports competitions, entertaining interactive events, and competitions from student associations.

The "Step to Communities" station was organized by the Center for Youth Trajectories. At various sites, one could learn more about the associations, try oneself as a community activist, and build one's own development trajectory within the framework of extracurricular activities. Everyone could find something for themselves.

"I entered the Polytechnic University on the recommendation of friends who were already studying at this university," shared Gleb Antonov, a student at the Physics and Mechanics Institute. "My specialty interested me because of its versatility and the abundance of applied and in-demand skills that can be acquired during the course of study. The festival turned out to be large-scale, the organizers and adapters tried very hard, thank you."

The Polytechnic University student teams presented six directions at the "Step to Labor" station. Here, builders taught how to build bridges, counselors taught how to dance, and archaeologists taught how to conduct excavations.

"Step to History" is a station of the Military History Club. First-year students were able to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of different eras. There was archery and knights in armor, search parties, stories about the Great Patriotic War and examples of equipment from those times. There were even historical dances!

At the “Step to Safety” station, the children were told how to protect themselves and others in any situation.

The Black Bears-Polytech club presented the Step to Sports platform. Newly minted polytechnicians were able not only to learn all about sports at Polytech and get acquainted with university teams, but also to test their strength in various sports.

The Career Development Department and the Competency Assessment and Development Center met with first-year students at the Step to Career station. The students were able to take part in useful games and learn what competencies they need to develop for a successful career.

The specialists of the Center for Work with Applicants at the “Step Back” station spoke about how to present the university in your school and how to help schoolchildren decide on their choice of profession.

Svetlana Vaneva came to St. Petersburg from Birobidzhan. With 287 points for the Unified State Exam, she became a student at the Institute of Computer Science and Cybersecurity.

"My family is from St. Petersburg, and Polytech is one of the leading technical universities in the country, so I decided to enroll here. I like solving complex problems and seeing the results of my work. Software engineering is an ideal combination of creativity and logic. I want to not just be a programmer, but to become a specialist capable of creating high-quality IT solutions from scratch that will be used by thousands of people," the girl said. "Today I realized that in six hours you can get to know the university not as a set of buildings with long corridors, but as a huge, noisy, living organism. Today we took the most important step – we stopped being anonymous students from the admissions list. We became a community, part of a large family called Polytech."

For participating in all activities, the children received polycoins, which they could exchange for memorable prizes.

Also at the festival, first-year students met some of the Polytechnic University's partners. SBER held interactive events and gave out branded gifts, Samokat offered to play games and get a tasty prize, and Yandex.GO organized a driving school where you could learn how to drive an electric scooter.

Joseph Brodsky and Anna Karenina. Mayakovsky Theatre talks about plans for the season

Translation. Region: Russian Federal

Source: Moscow Government – Government of Moscow –

An important disclaimer is at the bottom of this article.

Moscow Academic Theatre named after Vladimir Mayakovsky began the new season with a traditional troupe gathering. Artistic director Egor Peregudov and theater director Ekaterina Lapshina spoke about upcoming premieres, tours, and other plans. The event was also attended by the Minister of the Moscow Government, the head of the city Department of Culture Alexey Fursin.

Main Stage Premieres

The first premiere will take place on September 13th – the play will be shown "My Father's Dreams 2.0" based on stories by contemporary mathematician Roman Mikhailov. Director Yegor Peregudov had already addressed this story at RAMT in 2021, but decided to transfer it to the stage of the Mayakovsky Theater. True, this time it will be a broader version: he will add other works by Roman Mikhailov to the script, as well as elements of contemporary dance and performance.

"In Mikhailov's stories written about the 1990s, there is a precise sense of the blurred reality of a person in an information society. You never know exactly what is happening, you are only an object of an information attack. And in order to somehow survive in this absurdity, you try to outline the boundaries of reality by any means. In the play, we take very different theatrical forms to find these boundaries," said Yegor Peregudov.

The space of the performance will be unusual: the stage and the auditorium will be united. The scenery for the production was created by the People's Artist of Russia Vladimir Arefyev.

The next premiere will take place in early October, and will be timed to coincide with the 165th anniversary of Anton Chekhov's birth. Denis Khusniyarov, whom Mayakovka audiences remember from last year's play "Simon", will take on "A Boring Story". The director promises a fascinating spectacle: the plot will unfold in a semi-mystical space, where reality is difficult to distinguish from fiction, and nightmares and insomnia replace each other. The main roles will be played by People's Artists of Russia Evgenia Simonova and Mikhail Filippov.

In April, Yegor Peregudov will work with Vladimir Arefyev again, this time on the play "Karenina. Volume Two". The action will begin with one of the culminating scenes – the birth of Anna and Vronsky's daughter.

"It is in the second volume that Leo Tolstoy deeply, in detail and subtly examines 'family misfortune', after all the spectacular confessions, balls and races. What actually leads to the tragic, well-known outcome? I want to follow this path in detail and slowly, following Tolstoy," the director said.

The theater has already outlined plans that go beyond the current season. For example, in September 2026 they want to show "Die Fledermaus" by Johann Strauss, in January 2027 – "Crime and Punishment" by Fyodor Dostoevsky.

"Connect with the tone of the theatre, but remain yourself." Egor Peregudov on new formats and upcoming premieres

Premieres of the Small Stage and the Sretenka Stage

On October 11, guests of the small stage will be shown the play "Osya. Iosif. Joseph". Director Oleg Sapiro will build a dialogue with Joseph Brodsky through time, try to understand his worldview, joys and sorrows, and reflect on his fate. The production will be a kaleidoscope of memories associated with events in Leningrad and New York.

In November, viewers will be invited to the play "The Eighth-Grader" directed by Dmitry Krestyankin – it will be shown as part of the "Theater in School" project. A very relevant and painful topic will be presented in the format of a theater forum, which implies its tactful development by both actors and viewers. Together they will try to answer very important questions.

In December, the premiere of “The World of Lost Animals” based on the graphic novel of the same name by Noemi Weber will take place, and in the spring, “The Sand Teacher” based on the screenplay by Andrei Platonov.

A number of premieres are also expected on the stage at Sretenka. Director Sasha Zolotovitsky will present the production of "Like Me" based on the book by Islam Khanipaev, Yegor Kovalev – "The Storm" by Alexander Ostrovsky, and Yegor Peregudov – "The Season of Poisoned Fruit" based on the novel by Vera Bogdanova.

In addition, the theatre is currently negotiating cooperation with directors Evgeny Kornyag (Belarus), Rajat Kapoor (India) and Gabriel Chame Buendia (Argentina).

Tour

The troupe will have an extensive touring program. In September, the play "All My Sons" directed by Leonid Kheifets will be performed on the stage of the Khabarovsk Regional Drama Theater. In the same month, "Innovators" directed by Nikita Kobelev will be shown at the IX All-Russian Festival "Theatre Prikhoperye" (the city of Balashov, Saratov Region).

In October, Anatoly Shulyev’s production “The Elder Son” will travel to Perm Krai, and Evgeny Zakirov’s “Ward No. 6” will travel to Nizhny Novgorod, where the XII Russian Theatre Festival named after M. Gorky will take place.

In November, Yuri Ioffe’s play “The Wild One” will be performed in Salekhard, and “The Elder Son” in Izhevsk.

In addition, at the beginning of 2026, the artists will go to Tobolsk for the Siberian Seasons festival. There, they will show the plays All My Sons and Another Fairy Tale. Currently, a tour of the production The Search Continues in Norilsk is being discussed.

Holographic monitors and library automation: what innovations are being tested in Moscow schools

Translation. Region: Russian Federal

Source: Moscow Government – Government of Moscow –

An important disclaimer is at the bottom of this article.

Thanks to the pilot testing program of innovations of the Moscow Innovation Cluster Foundation (MIC) on the basis of educational institutions of the city, innovative developments of capital entrepreneurs are actively tested and implemented. Such products are becoming increasingly popular and open up new opportunities for education.

As part of the program, technology companies can test their innovative solutions at various sites in the city, including Moscow schools, colleges and universities. Thus, teachers get the opportunity to use modern digital tools in teaching practice, schoolchildren get a new unique experience, and businesses get prompt feedback from the target audience.

"Moscow always strives to create new opportunities for development, to make the learning process more flexible and modern, while at the same time exciting and practice-oriented. Piloting innovations in schools allows us to solve two problems at the same time – to support the development of advanced developments and introduce them into the educational process, making it more technological. Thanks to this, Moscow schoolchildren gain access to innovative services and tools, discover new opportunities for acquiring knowledge and creating a high-quality and productive learning environment," she said.

Kristina Kostroma, head of the capital's Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development.

Innovative solutions make the educational process even more flexible, modern and technological. The city has created a single digital ecosystem that unites all key school services. Students can receive materials and homework remotely, and parents can learn about the dynamics of academic performance, exam results and much more.

Book Tags and Career Modeling

A system designed to automate library processes was tested in one of Moscow's schools. RFID tags were applied to all books in the school library, and each student received a digital profile that can be used to reserve the necessary literature in advance. At the self-service checkout station, students can receive and return books, and the system automatically records their movement, updates information and availability.

A new interactive service is being tested at one of Moscow's colleges. It helps students decide on their future profession and model their further development in it. The user specifies the area of interest, on the basis of which the program builds a unique career route. It offers available internships and vacancies, indicates the average length of required work experience, and much more. Students are already noting the ease of navigation and use, and teachers are noting the practical value of the service, with the help of which future specialists receive individual recommendations for career development. In the future, the program may be implemented in 1,500 educational institutions in Moscow.

Monitors of the Future

A monitor with a volumetric hologram effect was tested in one of the schools in the Kommunarka district. It can be used to reproduce 3D models in high resolution in both static and dynamic modes. The monitor was successfully used in biology and physics lessons, as well as in various electives. During classes, using a special stylus, teachers and students can control the image – rotate, enlarge and study the object from different angles.

The technology makes learning more visual and engaging. In addition, the use of visual demonstration helps schoolchildren better absorb even the most complex material. In the future, more than 800 schools may be equipped with holographic classrooms.

Digital microscopes, 3D printers and mini-farms: what equipment will appear in the renovated schools of Moscow

Today, Moscow is a leader in conducting pilot studies in the urban environment. Thanks to the support of the MIK Foundation alone, about 650 pilot tests of innovative solutions were conducted at more than 280 sites in the capital. In addition, companies can receive a set of financial support measures – for example, a grant of up to two million rubles for testing a solution and a grant of up to four million rubles for participants in an inter-industry cluster. The pilot testing program allows you to adapt innovative products to real tasks, prepare them for scaling and further entry into the market.

Moscow Innovation Cluster contributes to the creation of conditions for the implementation of priority areas of scientific and technical development in the capital. This is the development and implementation of modern technologies, ensuring scientific, technical and industrial cooperation, effective interaction of all participants in the city's innovative ecosystem. The cluster includes organizations from 87 regions of Russia. Developers and representatives of high-tech businesses have access to over 50 digital services and services provided by the city. The project is supervised by the capital Department of Entrepreneurship and Innovative Development.

The first show of young designers from the Made in Moscow project took place at Fashion Week

On the last day of summer, the first collective fashion show of the capital's designers from the "Made in Moscow" project took place on Bolotnaya Square. It became part of Moscow Fashion Week. Stylists presented over 50 looks. The number of local brands that presented products for their creation exceeded 35. Among them were clothing manufacturers (Vassa

For entrepreneurs, support at the start is very important, including various free promotion tools that they receive as part of the Made in Moscow project to attract customers. Thus, young Moscow designers present their products free of charge at key central venues in the capital in art pavilions as part of the seasonal projects Summer in Moscow and Winter in Moscow, as well as in five brand stores in residential areas and the Lomonosov cluster. In addition, local fashion brands receive broad information support. All this helps them increase recognition and sales. Brands also have the opportunity to participate in industry exhibitions and forums.

The general concept of the show reflected the key idea that the capital has everything necessary to implement fashion ideas taking into account global trends, and most importantly, all the products are created and invented in Moscow. The designers presented images for a resident of the metropolis for all occasions. These are strict sets for business meetings and interviews, and evening dresses for the red carpet or going on air, and practical everyday clothes for work or a walk around the city. Thus, in the new collections of Moscow designers – massive sheepskin coats, laconic floor-length fur coats, elegant suits with lace and fur in autumn colors. For an evening look – long dresses in metallic and wine shades with a skirt made of faux fur. Capital brands also presented bright accessories, such as fur capes and handmade beaded jewelry. The show was closed by a young couple in modern groom and bride outfits. The 65-year-old model Natalia from the Royal Posture school of the Moscow Longevity project also took to the catwalk.

"When creating the images, we were inspired by our beloved Moscow – its fast pace, filled with events and impressions. A little – by our old movies, which we love to watch with our parents on TV. Our heroes have just returned from vacation, just like us: their hair remains naturally careless, with light sun glare, and their skin retains a warm tan. They are in a hurry about their business – each to their own place – and want to be everywhere. They are still wearing summer open sandals, but something warm and fluffy is already thrown over their light clothes, because, having left the house early in the morning, you can return late at night, and the Moscow weather can change the heat to coolness in an instant," said the show's stylists Misha and Kitty.

They emphasized that local brands have long since confidently taken their place in the wardrobes of city residents and guests of the capital. The modern consumer wants to get things with their own history and character. The brands that will produce them will become the new norm of fashionable life.

The audience was shown strict suit groups and exquisite handmade lace. The images were complemented with natural fur, sheepskin coats, wool coats and cashmere. Particular attention was paid to footwear: manufacturers presented models with and without heels, ballet flats and flip-flops from local brands.

A team of star stylists led by international master Kira Gonchar created 50 unique catwalk looks. The style of a modern Muscovite is flowing curls, careless buns and ponytails. The models' hairstyles were prepared by the capital's manufacturer of skincare products Ice Professional by Natura Siberica, a participant in the Made in Moscow project. According to Marina Lazaruk, the brand's managing brand director, participation in the Made in Moscow project show helped increase brand recognition in the fashion industry.

Products from the capital's designers, which were presented at the fashion show, can be purchased at the market in Zaryadye until September 2, as well as in the Odezhda art pavilion on Kuznetsky Most until September 14.

Almost 60 percent of gas stoves in Moscow apartments have been tested since the beginning of the year

An important disclaimer is at the bottom of this article.

Since the beginning of 2025, specialists from the city services complex have checked more than a million gas stoves installed in residential buildings. This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Housing and Public Utilities and Improvement Petr Biryukov.

"Over a million stoves were checked for operation between January and August, which is almost 60 percent of the total. During the checks, gas workers eliminate minor faults on the spot, and if serious violations are detected, they eliminate the safety hazard and provide recommendations for further operation and repair," noted Petr Biryukov.

Special attention is paid to ensuring gas safety in the capital – all activities are carried out strictly according to schedule as part of the annual scheduled maintenance of gasified housing stock.

The service life of a gas stove is on average 10-12 years. After this period, the equipment wears out: gas taps break down, burner diffusers become deformed, and the thermal insulation of the oven is damaged. In such cases, it is impossible to maintain safe operation – the stove must be replaced. According to current regulations, each stove must be equipped with a gas control system that automatically stops the gas supply when the flame goes out.

The responsibility for the technical condition, maintenance and replacement of equipment lies with the owners or tenants of residential premises.

The dates and times of gas equipment inspections are announced in advance – the schedule is published on the website JSC Mosgaz, and is also placed on information boards in entrances and on the surrounding area.

The work carried out corresponds to the goals and objectives of the national project "Infrastructure for life". You can learn more about Russia's national projects and the capital's contribution atspecial page.
