Moscow Academic Theatre named after Vladimir Mayakovsky began the new season with a traditional troupe gathering. You never know exactly what is happening, you are only an object of an information attack. And in order to somehow survive in this absurdity, you try to outline the boundaries of reality by any means. In the play, we take very different theatrical forms to find these boundaries," said Yegor Peregudov.

The space of the performance will be unusual: the stage and the auditorium will be united. The scenery for the production was created by the People's Artist of Russia Vladimir Arefyev.

The next premiere will take place in early October, and will be timed to coincide with the 165th anniversary of Anton Chekhov's birth. Denis Khusniyarov, whom Mayakovka audiences remember from last year's play "Simon", will take on "A Boring Story". The director promises a fascinating spectacle: the plot will unfold in a semi-mystical space, where reality is difficult to distinguish from fiction, and nightmares and insomnia replace each other. The main roles will be played by People's Artists of Russia Evgenia Simonova and Mikhail Filippov.

In April, Yegor Peregudov will work with Vladimir Arefyev again, this time on the play "Karenina. Volume Two". The action will begin with one of the culminating scenes – the birth of Anna and Vronsky's daughter.

"It is in the second volume that Leo Tolstoy deeply, in detail and subtly examines 'family misfortune', after all the spectacular confessions, balls and races. What actually leads to the tragic, well-known outcome? I want to follow this path in detail and slowly, following Tolstoy," the director said.

The theater has already outlined plans that go beyond the current season. For example, in September 2026 they want to show "Die Fledermaus" by Johann Strauss, in January 2027 – "Crime and Punishment" by Fyodor Dostoevsky.

Premieres of the Small Stage and the Sretenka Stage

On October 11, guests of the small stage will be shown the play "Osya. Iosif. Joseph". Director Oleg Sapiro will build a dialogue with Joseph Brodsky through time, try to understand his worldview, joys and sorrows, and reflect on his fate. The production will be a kaleidoscope of memories associated with events in Leningrad and New York.

In November, viewers will be invited to the play "The Eighth-Grader" directed by Dmitry Krestyankin – it will be shown as part of the "Theater in School" project. A very relevant and painful topic will be presented in the format of a theater forum, which implies its tactful development by both actors and viewers. Together they will try to answer very important questions.

In December, the premiere of “The World of Lost Animals” based on the graphic novel of the same name by Noemi Weber will take place, and in the spring, “The Sand Teacher” based on the screenplay by Andrei Platonov.

A number of premieres are also expected on the stage at Sretenka. Director Sasha Zolotovitsky will present the production of "Like Me" based on the book by Islam Khanipaev, Yegor Kovalev – "The Storm" by Alexander Ostrovsky, and Yegor Peregudov – "The Season of Poisoned Fruit" based on the novel by Vera Bogdanova.

The troupe will have an extensive touring program. In September, the play "All My Sons" directed by Leonid Kheifets will be performed on the stage of the Khabarovsk Regional Drama Theater. In the same month, "Innovators" directed by Nikita Kobelev will be shown at the IX All-Russian Festival "Theatre Prikhoperye" (the city of Balashov, Saratov Region).

Since the beginning of 2025, specialists from the city services complex have checked more than a million gas stoves installed in residential buildings. This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Housing and Public Utilities and Improvement Petr Biryukov.

"Over a million stoves were checked for operation between January and August, which is almost 60 percent of the total. During the checks, gas workers eliminate minor faults on the spot, and if serious violations are detected, they eliminate the safety hazard and provide recommendations for further operation and repair," noted Petr Biryukov.

Special attention is paid to ensuring gas safety in the capital – all activities are carried out strictly according to schedule as part of the annual scheduled maintenance of gasified housing stock.

The service life of a gas stove is on average 10-12 years. After this period, the equipment wears out: gas taps break down, burner diffusers become deformed, and the thermal insulation of the oven is damaged. In such cases, it is impossible to maintain safe operation – the stove must be replaced. According to current regulations, each stove must be equipped with a gas control system that automatically stops the gas supply when the flame goes out.

The responsibility for the technical condition, maintenance and replacement of equipment lies with the owners or tenants of residential premises.

The dates and times of gas equipment inspections are announced in advance – the schedule is published on the website JSC Mosgaz, and is also placed on information boards in entrances and on the surrounding area.
