Since 2024, a comprehensive inventory of real estate has been conducted in Donbas and Novorossiya. This allows for the creation of complete and reliable information about properties, the integration of previously unaccounted assets into circulation, and lays the foundation for sound territorial development planning. This protects citizens' property rights, and by identifying vacant land and properties, stimulates business activity in the reunited regions. Thus, as a result of the comprehensive inventory, Rosreestr has identified over 644,000 real estate properties to date, according to Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin.

"To bring real estate into circulation and improve the investment climate in the reunified regions, comprehensive inventory work continues. Specialists are studying documentary sources about properties and comparing actual data on the ground, determining property boundaries, and identifying unused and abandoned properties. To date, more than 644,000 properties have been identified. The comprehensive inventory in Donbas and Novorossiya is being conducted in two areas: studying archival documents confirming ownership of real estate or describing the properties, and conducting a site survey. Residents are also registering their properties themselves through a declarative process. Overall, as a result of this comprehensive work over the past two and a half years, 4.9 million properties have been registered in the Unified State Register of Real Estate, almost four times more than a year ago," the Deputy Prime Minister said.

The Deputy Prime Minister added that the obtained results are reflected as a separate data layer on the unified digital platform "National Spatial Data System." This allows for the processing of inventory data on land parcels, real estate, information on vacant land, and public land.

"I would like to note the unprecedented nature of this work. There are no comparable inventories in international or Russian practice, either in terms of scope or timeframe. Over the past period, over 80% of properties located in the reunified regions have been included in the real estate register. During the field survey, unused land covering 330,000 hectares was also identified, and the characteristics of 166,000 properties contained in the Unified State Register of Real Estate were clarified. By the end of this year, information on an additional 710,000 properties is planned to be entered. The inventory of agricultural land, residential properties, industrial properties, and key settlements remains a priority," said Oleg Skufinsky, head of Rosreestr.

According to him, the comprehensive inventory work is planned to be completed by the end of 2026.

The Department of Ground Transport and Technological Machines is improving devices for transporting bulk materials.

Translation. Region: Russian Federal

Source: Saint Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering –

An important disclaimer is at the bottom of this article.

The Department of Ground Transport and Technological Machines (GTM) at SPbGASU is conducting research into improving devices for transporting bulk materials for municipal vehicles.

Federal road construction programs are currently being implemented in Russia, including in Arctic regions. Both existing and under-construction transport infrastructure require systematic maintenance. Technologies that effectively remove deposits (snow and ice, frozen or dried dust, etc.) from surfaces include those using high-speed pneumatic or liquid jets. The introduction of solid abrasive particles into the jet increases the efficiency of the cleaning process.

However, despite the obvious advantages, using this technology also presents a number of challenges, particularly critical in the low temperatures of the Arctic. These include the loss of mobility of bulk materials with high moisture content at low temperatures. This can be avoided by using a pneumatic-mechanical conveyor, which performs both pneumatic transport of the material and mechanical mixing. However, the widespread use of this technology is hampered by the lack of a mathematical framework that would explain the operating mechanism of such a device and allow for the justification of its design parameters, as well as its operating modes that maximize energy efficiency.

As part of a research grant for SPbGASU faculty, a review of the technical state of bulk material handling devices was conducted. It showed that such devices are highly sensitive to the properties of the abrasive used, including its moisture content and particle size distribution, and are also quite large. This significantly complicates their use in municipal vehicles, especially at low temperatures. At the same time, the pneumatic-mechanical conveyor design adopted for the study reduces the overall size while simultaneously improving abrasive pickup and delivery.

During the study, an analytical review of calculation and design methods for similar devices was conducted. This review revealed that existing calculation methods do not account for the combined effects of a mechanical auger and a high-speed airflow on the bulk material being transported. The study proposed a mathematical model for the movement of mechanical particles of bulk material in a pneumatic-mechanical conveyor under the influence of a mechanical auger and a high-speed airflow.

Experimental studies of the pneumatic-mechanical conveyor of a municipal vehicle revealed the key principles of the process. Based on the experimental results presented in Figure 1, the empirical coefficients of the mathematical model were determined and the operating modes of the device were established that maximize transportation energy efficiency.

The developed regression model for calculating the performance of a pneumatic-mechanical conveyor when transporting bulk materials with a specified set of properties—particle size, material density, and mechanical auger speed—allows for an informed choice of conveying equipment for municipal vehicles. A comparison of the performance values obtained by the Prasch calculation with the experimental results of the Pexp is shown in Figure 2.

The substantiation of the design parameters and operating modes of a pneumatic-mechanical conveyor for bulk materials of a municipal vehicle was carried out as part of research work by research and teaching staff of SPbGASU using internal grants in 2025.

An important disclaimer is at the bottom of this article.

The Russian government has approved a national production calendar for 2026. Based on a five-day workweek, it includes 247 workdays and 118 days off and holidays. It also includes shortened workdays preceding holidays.

In 2026, Russians will work one hour less:

— April 30 — before the Spring and Labor Day (May 1);

— May 8 — before Victory Day (May 9);

— June 11 — before Russia Day (June 12);

— November 3 — before National Unity Day (November 4).

The non-working holidays of January 3 and 4 fall on Saturday and Sunday, so they will be moved to Friday, January 9, and Thursday, December 31. December 31 also became a non-working holiday in 2025. Therefore, the upcoming New Year holidays will last 12 days—from December 31, 2025, to January 11, 2026.

Defender of the Fatherland Day falls on Monday, meaning Russians have three days off—from February 21 to 23.

International Women's Day, March 8, falls on a Sunday, so the holiday has been moved to Monday, March 9. This means the March holiday weekend will also last three days—from March 7 to March 9.

The first long weekend of May is scheduled from the first to the third. Residents of the country will have a full work week ahead of Victory Day. The holiday weekend will run from Saturday to Monday, from May 9 to 11.

Russia Day is celebrated on June 12. The summer holiday weekend will last three days—from Friday to Sunday, June 12th to 14th.

In the fall, Russians will have one holiday day off during the workweek—National Unity Day, November 4.

The last working day in December 2026 will be Wednesday, December 30. December 31 is a non-working day.
