After signing the agreement, the Voenmech delegation was given a tour of the gallery of distinguished polytechnic scientists. The guests also visited the White Hall and the main library.

Voenmech's leadership also visited the experimental design bureau of the Advanced Engineering School of SPbPU, "Digital Engineering." There, they learned about the bureau's activities, priority areas for achieving technological sovereignty, and the national project "Unmanned Aircraft Systems."

The main goal of this collaboration is to create a model for a continuous educational cycle between school, university, and enterprise, enabling schoolchildren to develop research skills and engineering thinking, receive early career guidance, and see the practical application of their knowledge. The signing ceremony, held at Murinskaya School No. 8, was attended by Victoria Vinogradova, Vice-Rector for Continuing Education at SPbGASU, Alexandra Ivanova, Principal of School No. 8, and Vladislav Ruzavin, Deputy Administrative Director of the ISG "MAVIS."

Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin chaired a meeting of the Presidium (Headquarters) of the Government Commission on Regional Development, where the results of work in 2025 under the national project "Infrastructure for Life" were summarized.

"The first year of the new national project, 'Infrastructure for Life,' is coming to an end. It has become the main focus of our work for the next six years. First and foremost, it aims to ensure that people in the regions have everything they need for a comfortable life. "Memoranda containing specific plans for road network development over the next six years have been signed with all Russian regions. We continue our systematic work in the reunified regions. According to the Deputy Prime Minister, approximately 28,000 kilometers of roads were repaired, reconstructed, and built over the past year, a 14% increase compared to the previous year. Approximately 213 million square meters of asphalt were laid. All planned targets for federal and regional roads were met. Therefore, the share of federal roads in good condition currently stands at 74.2%, roads within the core network at 75%, the road network of major urban agglomerations at 85%, and regional roads at 56.5%.

All regions have approved development programs for 2,160 key settlements, home to over 70% of the country's population. Implementation of these development programs will improve the quality of life in these settlements by 30% by 2030 and by 60% by 2036.

Marat Khusnullin also noted that the Chechen Republic, the Republics of Tatarstan, Buryatia, Sakha (Yakutia), and the Kaluga and Saratov regions are currently among the leading regions in key areas of the "Infrastructure for Life" national project.

In his report, Russian Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities Irek Faizullin summarized the preliminary results of the national "Infrastructure for Life" project and federal projects in 2025, as well as the commissioning of capital construction projects.

"This year, 121 million square meters of multi-family housing are under construction, representing approximately 2.5 million apartments, an increase of 6.6 million square meters compared to the previous year. 4,430 developers are engaged in construction. Including non-residential space, the figure is even higher, reaching 200 million square meters. To maintain this momentum, we are developing urban development potential, which stood at 478.8 million square meters as of December 1. He added that the 10th All-Russian Competition for the Best Projects to Create a Comfortable Urban Environment and the 4th Far Eastern Federal District Competition were held under the new rules. Deputy Prime Minister Dmitry Patrushev held the final meeting of Incident No. 58, "Organization of the Solid Municipal Waste Management System" in 2025. The meeting was attended by senior officials from relevant agencies, industry companies, regional leaders, and representatives of the Federal Assembly.

"All year long, we've been monitoring the situation across a wide range of waste management issues. This has yielded certain results. Among other things, not a single regional operator is currently in the red zone for economic sustainability. This year, we've purchased over 62,000 containers, and 12,000 sites for them have been created. Furthermore, we've purchased 1,500 garbage trucks, a significant portion of which were purchased through the preferential leasing program introduced in 2025 with support from the Russian government," said Dmitry Patrushev.

The Deputy Prime Minister added that each region's needs for specialized equipment, containers, and container storage facilities were assessed, and corresponding procurement plans were then approved. Thanks to this collaborative effort, many regions have reversed the negative trend.

Dmitry Patrushev emphasized that waste management control tools have been significantly adjusted over the past year: the federal MSW accounting system is now automatically updated with data from GLONASS sensors. Furthermore, almost all regions are connected to the photo and video recording system, as well as the automatic transmission of weight control data. "The New Year holidays are coming up – traditionally a busy period with a high workload for the industry. Last year, during these days, task forces convened at the federal and regional levels to monitor the timely removal of waste. This practice has yielded good results. Therefore, I ask the Russian Ministry of Natural Resources to continue this process. Re-establish these task forces and hold meetings before and during the New Year holidays," Dmitry Patrushev emphasized.

The Deputy Prime Minister outlined further tasks within the context of the incident. Specifically, the key focus will be the construction of waste management infrastructure. By 2025, 24 such facilities were commissioned in Russia. The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the need to accelerate construction. A corresponding regulatory framework has been developed at the federal level, and financial support mechanisms have been proposed. An infrastructure commissioning plan has also been developed, which envisages the construction of 164 waste management facilities over the next two years. Dmitry Patrushev instructed the Coordination Center to monitor the implementation of the relevant roadmaps.

The heads of regions that successfully implemented investment projects in 2025 spoke at the meeting. Other regions of the Russian Federation were encouraged to emulate the successful experience of their colleagues.

The issue of extending the term of use of temporary waste landfills was separately discussed. Dmitry Patrushev instructed the Ministry of Natural Resources and the Russian Ecological Operator to continuously monitor the situation in the regions, where replacement infrastructure is scheduled to be completed by early 2028.

Incident No. 58 "Organization of a system for handling municipal solid waste" was created on the instructions of the Prime Minister to ensure the implementation of reform in the field of waste management.
