Continuing professional education programs have begun for specialists in the construction and housing and utilities industries. The courses are organized as part of the federal project "New Rhythm of Construction" of the national project "Infrastructure for Life." Participants included state and municipal employees, as well as employees of subordinate organizations of regional executive authorities.

"The training of qualified personnel is of strategic importance for the construction and housing and utilities sectors. The successful implementation of infrastructure projects, and therefore the quality of life for millions of citizens, largely depends on the professionalism of state and municipal employees. Systematic professional development is the foundation for achieving the national development goals set by the President. The federal project 'New Rhythm of Construction' allows us to improve construction cycle management, use resources more efficiently, and deliver infrastructure projects that are essential for citizens in a timely manner. Training is conducted by experts from the Russian Ministry of Construction and by instructors from the RosKapStroy Training Center. Five professional development programs are planned for 2026, covering key areas, from integrated territorial development to the preservation of cultural heritage sites. A total of approximately 1,700 people will undergo training," said Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin.

The Deputy Prime Minister clarified that all programs have been developed taking into account the latest innovations and changes in construction legislation. Three programs will launch in the first half of 2026: "Integrated Territory Development" (in collaboration with the Ural State Law University named after V.F. Yakovlev), "Pricing and Estimating Standards in Construction," and "Technical Client in Construction" (at the Joint Department of the Ministry of Construction of Russia at the Financial University under the Government of the Russian Federation).

In the second half of the year, training will begin on the programs "Organization and Implementation of Housing Supervision and Licensing Control by State Housing Supervision Authorities of the Russian Federation" and "Urban Development Activities in Historic Areas and the Preservation of Cultural Heritage Sites."

"The federal project 'New Rhythm of Construction,' which is part of the national project 'Infrastructure for Life,' is aimed at increasing labor productivity in the construction and housing and utilities sectors. As part of the project's implementation, the Russian Ministry of Construction, together with the Federal Autonomous Institution RosKapStroy, is systematically developing human resources. Continuing professional education is a mandatory component of training highly qualified personnel for construction and housing and utilities. The reliability of constructed facilities and the operation of housing and utilities, which directly impact people's quality of life, directly depend on the level of specialist training. It is the professionalism of specialists that ensures compliance with technology at all stages of the investment and construction cycle," said Deputy Minister of Construction, Housing and Utilities Sergey Muzychenko.

Yuri Trutnev: The nature of military operations is changing; we must bring what is needed at the front and relevant today.

In the Donetsk People's Republic, Deputy Prime Minister and Presidential Plenipotentiary Envoy to the Far Eastern Federal District Yuri Trutnev handed over equipment to commanders and service members of the Russian army on the front lines of the special military operation. New weapons and vehicles were received, among others, by personnel from units of the Eastern Military District, soldiers of the 55th Guards Marine Division, and volunteers from the Far East.

"We're bringing equipment and technology to the front in the special military operation zone that meets the needs of our soldiers. Some items are in greater demand. For example, we recently met with the commander of the Eastern Military District. He spoke highly of the delivery of all-terrain vehicles. This suggests that they're in high demand right now. This is natural. It's spring now, and the ground is quite unstable. Of course, all-terrain vehicles help the guys move around and get to any necessary point. We need a lot of drones. Drones are a general term. What matters is the specific drone, its capabilities, and how it can accomplish the tasks facing the soldiers. We're constantly testing everything related to unmanned aerial vehicles. Fiber-optic drones are currently the most widely used. All this work is ongoing. And it will continue as long as there's a need for our guys to fight in this territory," said Yuri Trutnev.

Some of the donated equipment came from Far Eastern companies, including residents of the Patriotic Advanced Development Area. The troops received 59 all-terrain vehicles from the Yakut company Yakt-Sokol, 1,000 "Shershen" FPV drones from the Khabarovsk company KhabInnoTech, and 500 FPV drones from the Trans-Baikal design bureau Veter.

During working visits to the Far Eastern regions, Yuri Trutnev, along with staff from the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East and the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation, regularly visits enterprises located in the Patriotic Priority Development Area (PTA). The Deputy Prime Minister inspects production facilities, familiarizes himself with the performance characteristics of products, and makes adjustments based on feedback from Air Defense Forces personnel. Products supplied to the front are selected through a competitive process. Selected samples undergo mandatory testing under combat-like conditions.

"I'm from the Far East myself. I've been serving as a volunteer for five months. I always say that volunteers sign not only a contract with the Ministry of Defense, but also a contract with their conscience. Our unit is a leader among other volunteer units in UAV operations. We do a lot of work involving the destruction of enemy personnel, heavy weapons, and equipment. Yuri Petrovich doesn't come to the SVO just for show. I used to observe this from the sidelines when I was a volunteer. Now, being here, I can say that everything presented here is needed by the front," said Bogdan Bulychev (call sign Taskan), deputy commander of the BARS-8 "Khabarovsk" volunteer unit.

Yuri Trutnev met with volunteers serving in UAV units in the recently liberated city of Hulyaipole. The Plenipotentiary Representative personally inspected the operation of the control and observation post and the control center, assessed the work of the Far Eastern soldiers, and spoke with the unit's commander, Alexei Garazha (call sign Kuban). The deputy commander briefed the Deputy Prime Minister on the development of UAV operations and the implementation of new programs.

The meeting took place 3.5 kilometers from the line of contact, where active fighting is currently underway. Before the group's departure, the unit's mobile air defense units detected and destroyed several Ukrainian attack and reconnaissance drones.

"I'd like to express my deepest gratitude to Yuri Petrovich for his responsiveness and attention to the soldiers' needs. He delivers the items needed at the front and relevant today. Technological development is so rapid in this war that many often fall behind. Yuri Petrovich listens attentively and hears what the soldiers are saying, and provides everything necessary to accomplish assigned combat missions in the SVO zone," noted Alexey Garazha, commander of the BARS-8 "Khabarovsk" volunteer detachment.

"Delivering modern equipment and gear to the front is crucial. It saves soldiers' lives. The war is currently undergoing a technological leap, and we must keep pace with this evolution. The fact that we've been supplied with new semiautomatic rifles is a huge benefit for convenience, quality, and operational efficiency, as well as increased soldier safety. We weren't just given a rifle; we were given a fully assembled system. Simply put, take it and use it 'out of the box.' Soldiers are always happy to receive any assistance. Modern systems and sights make our work more effective. And the guys, having tried out the new weapons, are eager to go to the front to demonstrate their skills in combat and set records at long range," shared Triglav, a soldier and supervisor of sniper units at the 9th Separate Rifle Brigade.

Additionally, seven robotic ground systems, domestically produced sniper systems and ammunition, motor vehicles, including two armored Nivas, reconnaissance UAVs, optical surveillance and reconnaissance equipment, thermal imaging sights, electronic warfare equipment, smoothbore guns for combating drones, and ammunition for them were transferred to the front lines.

"We will fight until our shared victory. Many of our fellow civil servants, including those from the Office of the Plenipotentiary Representative in the Far Eastern Federal District, the Ministry for the Development of the Russian Far East, the Far East and Arctic Development Corporation, and the Far Eastern regional administrations, have volunteered for the front lines, defending our country's interests. Every trip to the DPR is an opportunity to provide them with equipment and supplies so they can continue defending the Motherland," said Yuri Trutnev.

Recent graduates of the Faculty of Civil Engineering met with students as part of career guidance activities.

On March 30, a career guidance meeting between students and recent graduates of the Faculty of Civil Engineering was held at the "Growth Point" educational space of the St. Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering. The event was organized with the participation of Sergey Bovteev, Deputy Dean for Career Guidance, Associate Professor, and Candidate of Technical Sciences.

The graduates discussed their employment prospects after graduation and the beginnings of their careers in the construction industry. Sergey Vladimirovich emphasized the importance of participating in such events, noting that live interaction with graduates provides an opportunity to ask pressing questions and form a clearer picture of their future careers.

The meeting was attended by 2024 graduates of the Department of Geotechnics, majoring in "Construction of Unique Buildings and Structures." They shared their employment experiences, discussed combining study and work, and discussed their first professional achievements.

One of the speakers, Daniil Fedotov, a reinforced concrete engineer with the Etalon Group of Companies, shared his journey from working in the design department to designing structures and presented projects he has participated in.

His colleague, Alexandra Rakhmankulova, a metalwork design engineer, noted that she began her professional career after her third year, completing an internship at a specialized company. She emphasized the importance of early immersion in the profession and actively seeking internships: "Don't be afraid to try different directions. It's okay to make mistakes. The main thing is to find what truly suits you."

Graduates discussed with students the differences between construction fields—design, construction work, and building surveying—and shared personal observations about the advantages and disadvantages of each field. Particular attention was paid to the skills necessary for a successful career start, including the ability to work with calculations, drawings, and professional software.

The meeting addressed the issue of choosing a specialization. The speakers emphasized that the choice largely depends on personal preference – some seek detailed design and calculations, while others prefer working on a construction site.

Students actively asked questions about salaries, career advancement, and professional prospects. The organizers noted that similar meetings will be held regularly with the participation of graduates from various fields.
