Red Wings began flights from Tomsk to Ulan-Ude on February 6, 2026.

Red Wings opened a new scheduled flight from Samara to Khanty-Mansiysk on February 5, 2026.

Red Wings Airlines won the 10th RUSky Awards in the category "For the Development of Tourism and Partnership Programs by the End of 2025."

In 2025, Red Wings maintained flights to popular destinations and expanded its flight geography. Passengers now have access to flights from nine Russian regions to 11 countries, including the UAE, Azerbaijan, Georgia, and Israel.

Red Wings helped Kara the leopard get to his new home on February 4, 2026.

Red Wings Airlines transported Kara, a female Amur leopard, from Yekaterinburg to Kazakhstan. At the Almaty Zoo, the predator will be able to give birth to cubs to help preserve her species, which is listed in the Russian Red Book.

The airline transported the leopard to Almaty on a Russian SSJ-100 aircraft in a special ventilated container. During the flight, the container was placed in a sealed cargo hold with a temperature control similar to that of the passenger cabin. This ensured a comfortable and safe flight for the predator.

Kara, just nine months old, was born in May 2025 at the Yekaterinburg Zoo and is a rare melanistic form of the Amur leopard. She was sent to the Almaty Zoo as part of an interzoo exchange. In turn, the Almaty Zoo brought barn owls and two bears—a Tien Shan brown bear and a Himalayan black bear—to Yekaterinburg, adding to the zoo's exhibits.

The Far Eastern leopard is listed as "critically endangered" by the Russian Federation and the International Union for Conservation of Nature (IUCN). Experts estimate that no more than 50 individuals remain in the wild. Kara's participation in the conservation program at the Almaty Zoo, which will celebrate its 90th anniversary next year, will contribute to the protection of this unique biological heritage.
