The closing ceremony of the fourth Open World Astronomy Olympiad (Open World Astronomy Olympiad 2025) took place at the Sirius Federal University. The intellectual competition, held from September 20 to 27, brought together teams of high school students from more than 15 countries. All six members of the Russian team won gold medals, repeating their success from all three years of participation. Students from 10 countries participated in the Olympiad in person, and high school students from Venezuela, Bulgaria, Mongolia, Bangladesh, and other countries joined them online. The competition consisted of four rounds: observation, practical, theoretical, and testing. All assignments were completed in English.

Deputy Prime Minister and Chief of the Government Staff Dmitry Grigorenko held a working meeting with representatives of digital platforms from Russia and China at the World Expo for Digital Commerce in Hangzhou. The meeting focused on a new federal law adopted in Russia in July of this year, which establishes basic rules for regulating digital intermediary platforms. Based on the results of the first eight months of 2025, Moscow (8.2 million trips), Krasnodar Krai (6.5 million), and St. Petersburg (4.8 million) traditionally received the largest number of tourists. The top six also included the Moscow Region (3.8 million), the Republic of Tatarstan (2 million), and the Republic of Crimea (1.8 million). Particularly impressive growth rates were demonstrated by regions actively developing tourism infrastructure: the Karachay-Cherkess Republic, the Republic of Adygea, the Republic of Kalmykia, Tver Oblast, and the Jewish Autonomous Oblast.
