A new professional holiday, Court Employee's Day, will be celebrated annually on November 5th. A resolution to this effect has been signed.

Specialists who have made significant contributions to the development of the hydrometeorological service and achieved significant achievements in scientific, managerial, educational, and pedagogical activities will be recognized with the Yevgeny Konstantinovich Fyodorov Prize (1910–1981).
