The first stage of construction of the Federal Children's Rehabilitation Center has been completed in Yevpatoriya.

The first phase of construction of the Federal Children's Rehabilitation Center in Yevpatoria has been completed. It includes three facilities: a consultative and diagnostic building, an inpatient facility, and an administrative building. Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin announced this.

"In the Republic of Crimea, at the direction of Russian President Vladimir Putin, one of the country's largest rehabilitation centers, with a total area of approximately 100,000 square meters, is being built. It is designed for the treatment and rehabilitation of children with nervous system, musculoskeletal, somatic, and other ailments. The first phase of construction of this modern medical facility has been completed today. Specialists from the Single Customer in Construction (PC) have completed two more facilities—a consultative and diagnostic building and a 300-bed inpatient facility—and have received occupancy permits. The facilities have been equipped with new technological and medical equipment. Earlier, as part of the first phase, the administrative building was also renovated and will be operational in 2024," said Marat Khusnullin.

The consultative and diagnostic building and the inpatient building are already equipped with sports and rehabilitation equipment, computers, medical furniture, equipment for a sterilization station, a radiation diagnostic room, etc.

The 300-bed hospital building will provide treatment in neurorehabilitation, orthopedic rehabilitation, and somatic rehabilitation. The consultative and diagnostic building now includes admissions, intensive care, radiology, a 24-hour inpatient unit, two operating rooms, and more.

The builders also improved the surrounding area. Children's playgrounds for different age groups were created. Walking and cycling training areas, a mini-panda park, a health trail, and much more were also equipped.

"The second and third phases of construction of the medical facility are currently underway. Specialists are constructing a 225-bed dormitory for the center's employees, a building with dining and assembly halls, and a boarding house for the children's parents. The overall completion rate of the facilities is currently 80%. Completion is scheduled for 2026," said Karen Oganesyan, CEO of the Unified Customer Production and Consulting Company.

An important aspect of the center's construction project is creating a safe and welcoming environment where children can not only undergo rehabilitation but also have fun and socialize with their peers. Therefore, one of the medical facility's buildings features design and engineering workshops and a multimedia room for interactive games to organize patient leisure activities.

The multidisciplinary center in Yevpatoria is being developed as a smart clinic, using innovative methods for patient rehabilitation. It is being built on the combined premises of the Moinaki mud therapy center and the Rodina sanatorium.

The First Deputy Prime Minister visited the Tver Region on a working visit, inspected the work of industrial enterprises, and met with the region's acting governor, Vitaly Korolev.

Denis Manturov met with Acting Governor of the Tver Region Vitaly Korolev

Denis Manturov visited the site of Tek-kom Proizvodstvo, a Russian manufacturer of a wide range of bearings. The group has fully fulfilled its obligations to develop and localize the production technology for axlebox cassette bearings for heavy-duty railcars under SPIC 2.0. Previously, bearing production for this type of railcar relied on imported components.

In addition, the company has developed design and technological documentation, conducted tests, and is now putting into production axlebox bearings for high-speed trains.

Using the industrial mortgage program supported by the Russian Ministry of Industry and Trade, Tek-com is completing construction of a new production facility covering over 12,000 square meters. This will double its overall capacity and enable the introduction of dozens of new product types to the market by 2026. This expanded product range will strengthen technological sovereignty and enable further localization of bearings for the automotive, agricultural, metallurgy, and mining industries, as well as meet the needs of the shipbuilding and wind energy industries.

Denis Manturov noted that Russia has successfully developed the production of bearings for various industries. He instructed the Ministry of Transport and the Ministry of Industry and Trade, together with Russian Railways, to develop measures to increase the capacity utilization of bearing industry enterprises.

Another import-substituting production facility in the Tver Region is TverKanatDor. The company was the first in Russia to establish a full-cycle development and production of ropeways, localizing critical manufacturing components. Denis Manturov inspected the finished products, learned about the production stages, and visited Russia's only ropeway testing laboratory. The plant is designed to produce 15 ropeway systems per year.

"TverKanatDor is a very important project that started only recently, but has already completely replaced imports from European suppliers who had abandoned cooperation with Russia. I think they themselves are already regretting it and counting their lost revenue. And we've gained additional expertise. Our engineers, designers, and specialists didn't simply create an import-substituting version; they took into account our climate conditions and the operating experience of other ropeways," said Denis Manturov.

The First Deputy Prime Minister also visited Gers Technology. The company was the first in Russia to master the development and manufacture of equipment for drilling horizontal and directional oil and gas wells. Previously, such equipment was imported. The company possesses unique expertise in producing import-substituting equipment for all stages of the full drilling cycle, including electronic components.

"In 2025, we allocated 1.1 billion rubles from the regional budget to support our enterprises and received 1.4 billion rubles from the federal budget for industrial development. This is a significant contribution to the development of the regional economy. We have good investment momentum, which we must maintain," noted Vitaly Korolev.

Deputy Prime Minister Tatyana Golikova made three children's dreams come true as part of the "Yolka zhelaniy" (Wish Tree) campaign. Seven-year-old Alina Gavrilova from Leninogorsk, Republic of Tatarstan, dreamed of an interactive globe, thirteen-year-old Ivan Smirnov from Krasnoyarsk dreamed of a digital microscope, and his four-year-old brother, Lev, dreamed of an experiment kit.

Tatyana Golikova met Alina from Tatarstan, her younger sister Regina, and her mother, Gulshat Gumarovna, via video call. A New Year's tea party with Father Frost and the Snow Maiden was held for Alina and her family at the Vysota youth center in Leninogorsk. During the meeting, Gulshat Gumarovna explained that Alina is very inquisitive. She is particularly fascinated by the mysteries of space and the structure of our planet. That's why, when the opportunity arose to participate in the "Yolka zhelaniy" charity event, the girl wished for an interactive globe to better explore the world around her. As Alina told Tatyana Golikova, her favorite planet is Earth. Father Frost presented the globe to the girl as a gift from the Deputy Prime Minister, and the Snow Maiden presented dolls for her sisters. Tatyana Golikova wholeheartedly congratulated the Gavrilov family on the upcoming New Year, wishing them health, happiness, and family warmth.

Ivan Smirnov from Krasnoyarsk is a good student in fifth grade, participating in academic competitions, giving presentations, and even teaching master classes. One of his favorite subjects is biology, and he needed a microscope for his classes. His brother, Lev, loves conducting experiments, like a true scientist, so he asked for an experiment kit. Ivan and Lev turned out to be not only inquisitive but also very friendly and helpful – their mother, Anastasia Vladislavovna, told them over the phone that the brothers recently rescued eight hamsters that someone had dumped in a box on their building's entrance. Tatyana Golikova brought the boys gifts for the New Year, and when they recovered, she arranged to meet them via video call. The Smirnov family will also be taking a tour of the new National Center "Russia" in Krasnoyarsk, which they were very excited to visit.

Resolution of December 26, 2025 No. 2157

Starting in 2026, regions will be able to receive federal funding for the purchase of expensive medications for patients with orphan diseases. A resolution has been signed approving the rules for providing subsidies for these purposes.

Regions with limited budgetary resources will be eligible for this support if they demonstrate financial need. Applicants from regional leaders will submit applications to the Ministry of Health.

The federal budget has allocated 9 billion rubles for these purposes in 2026, and 10 billion rubles each in 2027 and 2028.

Thanks to the "Infrastructure for Life" national project, more than 300 km of regional and local roads leading to winter recreation areas and New Year's celebrations were brought up to standard by 2025. Deputy Prime Minister Marat Khusnullin announced this.

"During the New Year holidays, routes to winter recreation centers, ski resorts, fairs, and city squares—the sites of traditional folk festivals—as well as to the residences of local Father Frosts and other fairytale characters, are extremely popular. In 2025, thanks to the national project "Infrastructure for Life" alone, 118 such sections of the regional and local road network, totaling over 300 km, were brought up to standard," said Marat Khusnullin.

In general, special attention is paid to routes to tourist attractions, as transport accessibility is just as important to travelers as service and comfortable accommodation.

"The development of domestic tourism is unimaginable without modern, high-quality infrastructure. In 2025, as part of the national project 'Infrastructure for Life,' 430 sections of regional and local roads, totaling 2,200 km, leading to tourist attractions were renovated. These routes offer us the opportunity not only to relax but also to visit unique regional attractions, show children historical and architectural monuments, and even learn something new and inspiring," said Transport Minister Andrei Nikitin.

New Year holidays are a great opportunity to spend time with family and friends.

"The most emotional and sincere joys are associated with family. A trip to the Northern Lights, to the home of Father Frost or the Snow Maiden, a joint visit to the skating rink or a New Year's fair can be unforgettable for everyone, regardless of age. And high-quality and safe roads will make such trips comfortable and enjoyable," noted Kairat Tursunbekov, Deputy Head of the Federal Road Agency.

In Yoshkar-Ola, Mari El Republic, the asphalt pavement on a section of Leninsky Prospekt was renewed. This is the main route to Lenin Square, the traditional site of New Year's celebrations. The opening ceremony of the annual "Mari Winter" festival took place here, the highlight of which was a large-scale procession of Father Frosts.

As the winter holidays approach, more and more residents and visitors to the republic are making a point of visiting the residence of the Mari Father Frost. The main route to the residence is along the Yoshkar-Ola-Urzhum highway. In 2025, the reconstruction of the bridge over the Nemda River was completed. During the construction and installation process, the three-span reinforced concrete bridge was essentially rebuilt from scratch. Road workers installed a foundation and two layers of asphalt concrete pavement, as well as an additional ramp for trucks.

The first stage of repairs to the Poshekhonye-Kukoboy-Baklanka road in the Yaroslavl Region has been completed. The work covered a section from the village of Kukoboy in the Pervomaysky District to the border with the Vologda Region. The road is 7 km long. The Church of the Savior Not Made by Hands is located in the village of Kukoboy. Furthermore, in 2024, the village was declared the birthplace of Baba Yaga, becoming a popular tourist destination.

Not only are roads to the "homes" of beloved fairytale characters being upgraded, but popular winter tourist destinations are also being renovated. For example, in the Murmansk Region, the final stage of modernization of the access road to the village of Teriberka was completed. In 2025, contractors brought 25 km of the road up to standard. This is a popular destination for local residents and visitors to the region, who come to see the northern lights and try to spot blue whales during a boat cruise along the Barents Sea coast. The road is nearly 41 km long. In 2025, the section from km 10 to km 20 was reconstructed. Road workers laid asphalt concrete pavement, reinforced slopes and ditches, and installed an effective drainage system. A major overhaul was completed on the section from km 20 to km 35 of the access road to Teriberka. The highway has been gradually brought up to standard since 2021. The entire road's surface was replaced with asphalt concrete. Furthermore, in some places, the road surface was raised by 3–6 meters, reducing snow accumulation during the winter.

Additionally, a section of the access road to the city of Apatity in the Murmansk Region was renovated. 3.5 kilometers of roadway were repaired. The highway is part of the route to Kirovsk. The city is located at the foot of the Khibiny Mountains, the largest mountain range on the Kola Peninsula. The popular Bolshoy Vudyavr ski resort is also located here.
