"School Day at the Museum": Moscow museums have begun offering lessons in a new format.

Translation. Region: Russian Federation –

An important disclaimer is at the bottom of this article.

Classes for media students have begun in the capital in a new format as part of the "School Day at the Museum" project. Students are completing pre-professional internships at Moscow museums. During the classes, they explore exhibits and complete assignments: filming videos, taking photographs, writing articles, and also trying out roles as camera operators, PR managers, and journalists. This was reported by the press service of the Moscow museum. Department of Education and Science.

"The new class format allows schoolchildren to apply the skills they learned in the media production technology course in practice. This not only expands their knowledge but also makes learning more interactive. Currently, media practice is being implemented at five Moscow venues: the State Sports Museum, the State Central Cinema Museum, the Kuskovo Estate Museum, the Dedushkin Attic Museum of Radio and Television, and the Vladimir Vysotsky Museum," the department's press service reported.

For example, the media internship at the State Central Cinema Museum offers students the opportunity to gain skills in directing, photography and videography, scriptwriting, and reviewing. Participants are divided into teams based on their interests: while some focus on directing and staging, others shoot and edit videos, and still others prepare reviews and presentations to promote their creative ideas.

At the Vladimir Vysotsky State Museum, high school students are mastering the art of documentary filmmaking and learning to write blog posts, podcasts, and essays. One of the group assignments is a real journalistic investigation comparing Vladimir Vysotsky's portrayal of Hamlet with the bard's own life.

During classes at the State Sports Museum, students in media classes take on the roles of sports journalists. They film stories about exhibits, write about great athletes, and develop a content plan for the museum's social media. And at the Kuskovo Estate Museum, students are developing merchandise, filming video reviews, conducting photo quests, and designing estate tours for teenagers.

The "Media Class in Moscow Schools" project was launched in 2021. Today, these classes are open in 145 schools across the capital, serving over 6,000 high school students. The program, which focuses on literature, social studies, and foreign languages, allows students to better prepare for exams in their subject areas, while specialized courses in journalism and media production technologies provide an opportunity to immerse themselves in the profession.

Project "School Day at the Museum" The program has been running since 2017. As part of the program, teachers conduct classes based on the school curriculum at museum venues. Through these classes, students not only receive information but also, by interacting with museum exhibits, independently gain knowledge through hands-on activities.

But this time, all the letters were returned—someone mixed up the letters and made so many mistakes that the wizard couldn't read them. Because of this, the holiday might never happen!

The inhabitants of the Land of Letters will try to correct the situation before the chimes strike, and tell the main character, the culprit of the confusion (and, by extension, the audience) that the alphabet and literacy are very exciting.

The director explains that the idea came from the composer himself—he used short pieces to depict a day in a child's life, from waking up to bedtime. Legchakov found wonderful poems by Viktor Lunin that beautifully illustrate and complement each musical movement of the cycle.

Since the beginning of the year, specialists urban economy complex Moscow has reconstructed more than four kilometers of water supply and sewerage networks in the Tagansky District of the Central Administrative Okrug.
