The city will allocate a plot of land in Shcherbinka, where, as part of the implementation of a large-scale investment project (MaIP), an enterprise producing prosthetic components will be established. This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Development Policy and Construction Vladimir Efimov.

"Since 2016, Moscow has been using a mechanism of large-scale investment projects aimed at developing the capital's infrastructure. It allows attracting developers to solve major urban development problems. One of these projects will be a new modern production of prosthetic components in Shcherbinka. The city will provide a land plot for lease for its construction. It is expected that the volume of private investment will amount to 6.5 billion rubles," Vladimir Efimov noted.

The investor will be allocated land near Brusilov Street. The lease agreement is planned to be concluded after the plot is formed and registered with the state cadastral register.

Thanks to MAIP, investors can build industrial, social and commercial facilities on preferential terms, creating new jobs.

"On the instructions of Sergei Sobyanin, the city is consistently developing large-scale investment projects that allow the creation of modern enterprises and employment opportunities for residents of the capital. One of these projects is being implemented in Shcherbinka. A prosthetic components production facility with an area of 30 thousand square meters will be built here, which will ensure the creation of 400 new jobs," added the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Transport and Industry

Maxim Liksutov.

Ekaterina Solovieva, the Minister of the Moscow Government, the head of the capital's Department of City Property, noted that for the construction of the production enterprise, the investor will be provided with a land plot of 3.52 hectares in Shcherbinka. The implementation period is three years. The implementation of the large-scale investment project will be under the control of the city.

A large-scale investment project is a special status assigned to objects that are important for the development of Moscow. These include production, innovation centers, multifunctional and sports complexes. Developers implementing such projects can receive land plots for lease from the city.

In the Solntsevo district, within the framework of the integrated development of the territory (IDT) project, a site on Shchorsa Street (properties 5 and 5b) will be reorganized. Housing will be built there to implement the renovation program. The corresponding decision was made by the Moscow Government. This was reported by the Minister of the Moscow Government, head of the capital's Department of Urban Development Policy Vladislav Ovchinsky.

"Over the course of six years, the city-appointed operator will build 30.6 thousand square meters of housing on a 0.77-hectare site in the Solntsevo district to implement the renovation program. The total area of apartments in them will be 18.7 thousand square meters. This will provide new housing for about 680 Muscovites. Due to the placement of small and medium-sized businesses on the ground floors of the buildings, more than 50 jobs will be created here," said Vladislav Ovchinsky.

The site is located in an area with established infrastructure. The Solntsevo metro station is nearby.

Earlier, Sergei Sobyanin made a decision on the comprehensive development of non-residential areas in the area Solntsevo.

A sports and entertainment complex will appear in Novo-Peredelkino under the KRT program

Within the framework of the integrated development of territories (IDT) program, attractive spaces are being formed in former industrial zones, inefficiently used and undeveloped areas, which are organically integrated into the city-wide fabric. Currently, 336 IDT projects with a total area of over 4.2 thousand hectares are at various stages of development and implementation in the capital. The work is underway on behalf of Sergei Sobyanin.

Participants of the Great Arctic Expedition met with guests of the Moscow 2030 forum at Gostiny Dvor

As part of the forum-festival "Territory of the Future. Moscow 2030" A meeting with the participants of the Great Arctic Expedition was held in Gostiny Dvor. Among them is the leader of the expedition, polar explorer Matvey Shparo, as well as the guys who will set off to conquer the Far North under his leadership – Ekaterina Egorshina from the volunteer builders' detachment and Sergey Bakharev from the explorers' detachment. This was reported by the press service of the capital's Department of Education and Science.

"The large Arctic expedition will last about two weeks. Moscow schoolchildren and college students, under the guidance of experienced polar explorers, will go to Cape Chelyuskin. This year, the expedition has two goals – to restore the memorial to polar explorers, which is located on the cape itself, and to collect scientific samples for leading Russian institutes. The results will be presented at a large-scale scientific conference. Thus, one group will travel about 100 kilometers along the coast of the Arctic Ocean in search of material for research, and the second will be engaged in restoration work at this time," said Matvey Shparo.

At the meeting, the participants talked about the peculiarities of this year's expedition. Thus, unlike previous years, the research team will cover the route on foot, not on skis. During the conversation, the responsibilities of volunteer builders were also discussed: the guests learned whether it is difficult to restore memorials in the conditions of the Far North and what difficulties are associated with this.

"Getting to the Arctic and starting to study it is one of my goals, because I want to become a polar explorer. I will have to master new skills, learn a lot to be useful in the expedition. My goals are close to my focus. I would like to make a geomorphological profile of the area. This is possible with the help of space images. I am very interested in learning what lies behind the mosses or lichens in the depths of the earth and what its structure is," said Sergey Bakharev, a student at School No. 171.

The expedition will involve 14 schoolchildren and college students who have passed a rigorous four-stage selection process: the Arctic Dictation, the adventure game “Heroes of the Arctic”, professional skills competitions and training camps in Karelia, where the participants covered a 60-kilometer route.

More than five thousand young Muscovites tested their knowledge in the Arctic DictationThe final stage of selection of schoolchildren and students for the Great Arctic Expedition has begun

As a result of the selection, the following students were selected for the expedition: Ilya Maslenkin, a student of the Moscow Educational Complex "West", as well as students Ekaterina Gulid from Food College No. 33, Sofia Taranenko from the Ivan Fedorov Moscow Publishing and Printing College, Ksenia Greb from the Hero of the Soviet Union M.F. Panova, Ekaterina Egorshina from College of Architecture, Design and Reengineering No. 26 and Polina Pavlova from Medical College No. 1. Among the schoolchildren participating were Mikhail Krasavin from School No. 57, Ivan Krivashin from School No. 1253, Sergei Bakharev from School No. 171, Mikhail Sorokin from School No. 1576, Kirill Fedotkin from School No. 2054, Lev Spiridonov from Pokrovsky Kvartal School, Maria Kazakova from School No. 2073 and Vladimir Kulakov from School No. 1577.

Metropolitan Department of Education and Science first organized the Great Arctic Expedition in 2018. In 2024, schoolchildren skied in the footsteps of the leader of the Russian Polar Expedition of the early 20th century Eduard Toll and Soviet scientist Ivan Papanin, and college students built a mobile station on Cape Chelyuskin. This year's expedition is dedicated to the 80th anniversary of victory in the Great Patriotic War.

Earlier, 13 Moscow schoolchildren and college students traveled to Antarctica for the first time. In December 2024, the Moscow Youth Antarctic Expedition, organized by the Travel Laboratory additional education center, ended. Schoolchildren conducted research on assignment from research institutes, and college students supported the camp. During the trip, the young participants covered six routes over 63 kilometers long and took 96 samples.

About 80 thousand schoolchildren and college students are involved in tourism in the capital – every 20th student. The city project "The Route is Built" is in effect for them. Over the past year, the children have made almost 300 hiking trips around Russia and other countries – they visited Kazbek, Tien Shan, North Ossetia, Altai, Kamchatka and other destinations.

Moscow is a city where the technologies of the future are already being used today. Children play on modern sports grounds, use innovations in education, and use recommendations from artificial intelligence. Adults operate robots in production, move around the city in modern transport, receive advanced medical therapy, and do much more.

Even more technologies of the future can be found at the large-scale forum-festival "Territory of the Future. Moscow 2030". It will be held as part of the "Summer in Moscow" project from August 1 to September 14. Dozens of venues will host cultural, sports, educational and other events dedicated to the development of one of the most modern megacities in the world. Information about the venues and a detailed program are available on the official website of the forum-festival Moskov 2030.mos.ru.
