Specialists from the city services complex have completed 50 percent of the work on landscaping the territory of the Vinogradovo estate in the northeast of the capital, said the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Housing and Public Utilities and Landscaping Petr Biryukov.

"This year we are putting in order part of the territory of the Vinogradovo estate in the Dolgie Prudy nature reserve. This territory is a cultural heritage site, so its special protected status was taken into account when developing the project. As part of the work, we will preserve the historical appearance and planning composition of the park as much as possible, while adapting the space for modern use," noted Petr Biryukov.

Workers are installing eco-trails behind the front area of the estate and near the Maly Dolgy Pond, installing lanterns and replacing fences. They are also building a sports cluster with a skate park, a multi-purpose field for playing mini-football and volleyball, and a workout zone.

Residential buildings for the implementation of the renovation program with a total area of almost 360 thousand square meters will be built as part of the redevelopment of four sites in Cheryomushki. The sites will be reorganized under the program of integrated development of territories (IDT). This was reported by the Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Urban Development Policy and Construction Vladimir Efimov.

"Under the KRT program, it is planned to redevelop four sites on Kakhovka and Khersonska streets, as well as on Nauchnyi proezd and on the site of the former industrial zone "Quarter 25a of the Cheremushki district". From August 8 to 17, 2025, the Skolkovo Innovation Center will host the Drone Garage exhibition and competition of technological solutions. This is part of the project-educational intensive course Archipelago 2025 at the international forum Unmanned Systems: Technologies of the Future. "Drone Garage" will unite about 100 teams from more than 30 regions of Russia. Startups, student and scientific project groups, as well as specialized companies with serial production will take part in the exhibition-competition. "The format of joint quotation sessions on the supplier portal allows customers to join purchases initiated by other institutions in the same region. Large purchases attract more suppliers, which increases competition between them and allows saving budget funds. In January-June of this year, more than two thousand joint purchases worth 1.2 billion rubles took place on the portal, which is 35 percent higher than the figure for the same period last year. As a result, the city saved 486 million rubles – 73 percent more than in the first half of 2024," said Maria Bagreeva.

A pilot project for the prevention of oncological diseases of the digestive organs was launched in Moscow more than two months ago. During this time, more than 70 thousand people have signed up for diagnostics, and about 22 thousand have already been examined. Patients undergo gastroscopy and colonoscopy in modern endoscopic centers under mild sedation. Gastroscopy can also be done in endoscopic rooms of city polyclinics under local anesthesia.

As a result of examinations, more than 17 thousand people were diagnosed with gastrointestinal tract (GIT) diseases for the first time, and almost 80 patients were diagnosed with oncology. This was reported by Anastasia Rakova, Deputy Mayor of Moscow for Social Development.

"The priority of the capital's medicine is to maintain the health and quality of life of city residents at any age. Early diagnosis and prevention of diseases, especially oncological ones, play an important role in this. It is always better to act proactively, since many types of cancer in the early stages can be asymptomatic. In particular, this is typical for malignant neoplasms of the gastrointestinal tract. Realizing the importance of timely diagnosis, at the initiative of the Moscow Oncology Society, more than two months ago we launched a pilot project for proactive endoscopic examinations. During this time, over 70 thousand people have signed up for the necessary examinations, and about 22 thousand have already completed them and received the results. More than 17 thousand patients were diagnosed with gastrointestinal diseases for the first time, and 77 had malignant neoplasms. In turn, precancerous conditions were detected in 100 people – this is exactly the situation when, with timely treatment and monitoring, the development of a malignant tumor can be prevented,” said Anastasia Rakova.

Today, Muscovites can undergo preventive endoscopic examinations free of charge as part of the project. Referrals for registration were automatically opened for patients who had not been examined for several years.

Gastro- and colonoscopy are performed in modern endoscopic centers under mild sedation, while the stay in the medical institution takes no more than two hours. Additionally, the study also includes an express test for the presence of Helicobacter pylori bacteria in the gastric mucosa. This bacteria can cause various health problems, including gastritis, which increases the risk of developing cancer. Thus, in 40 percent of cases, the studies conducted within the framework of the project gave a positive result. Timely diagnosis and complete destruction of this bacteria can prevent the development of peptic ulcer disease, reduce the risk of stomach cancer, and increase the effectiveness of treatment for gastritis and reflux disease.

For the first time, the Moscow Oncology Community has come forward with an initiative for a project to prevent oncological diseases of the gastrointestinal tract. A large-scale upgrade of the infrastructure and technical support of medical institutions allows the implementation of a proactive approach to detecting oncology in the capital. Moscow is completing its largest program reconstruction of city clinics. All buildings are equipped with the latest generation equipment.
