On March 25, students from the State University of Management took a tour of Lukoil Arena, the home stadium of the Spartak Moscow team.

First-year students majoring in "Sports and Fitness Industry Management" at the Institute of Human Resources, Social, and Business Communications learned about the media center and press box, from which journalists cover matches, and assessed the size of the VIP boxes and hospitality areas designed to accommodate distinguished guests.

The tour was part of the educational process, with the goal of immersing future specialists in the infrastructure of a modern sports facility and studying its internal operating features.

The future managers were particularly interested in the tour of the stadium's "holy of holies": the team locker rooms and the mixed zone, where post-match interviews with players take place. Finally, the students walked through the players' tunnel to the side of the pitch, and also visited the coaches' benches and the bench.

An important part of the tour was learning about the club's history. Participants visited monuments to the club's legendary founders—the Starostin brothers and the great footballer Fyodor Cherenkov, whose names are inextricably linked with Spartak's history. The tour concluded with a visit to the Hall of Fame, the club's interactive museum. This hall, housing all of the team's most treasured possessions and trophies, left the students particularly impressed, clearly demonstrating the connection between sporting achievements and sound management and the brand's heritage.

"I express my sincere gratitude to the organizers for the opportunity to attend this excursion! I would like to highlight the impeccable organization and the rich and engaging program. Events like these leave behind more than just photos, but inspiration and memories that will last a lifetime," shared Polina Zhidkova, a student at the State University of Management.

The event was organized as part of a cooperation agreement between the State University of Management and the Spartak Moscow Football Club, providing students with a unique opportunity to apply their theoretical knowledge in practice and gain valuable experience in sports infrastructure management.

The "golden squad" of the GUU hockey team won the match of generations.

On the eve of the New Year, the annual match between the current team of the State University of Management Hockey Club and the "golden squad" of our national team took place. This year, the traditional match has special significance, as the SUM hockey team is celebrating its 15th anniversary.

Those who created the club's history, and those who continue to write it with honor, took to the stage:

The "Golden Squad"—legendary players whose names are forever etched in the annals of college hockey—are champions who have won gold medals since 2010, and heroes who brought the university an unforgettable gold medal in the MSHL Bachelor's Division in the 2021/2022 season. Today, many of them form the core of the coaching staff, passing on their experience and winning spirit to new generations. The current team is the modern face of the club, embodying the speed, indomitable energy, and competitive spirit of today's HC GUU.

The match, as befits a meeting of generations, was tense and competitive. The youth and drive of the current squad met the invaluable experience, skill, and teamwork of the veterans.

Ultimately, the champion team confirmed its high class by winning convincingly with a score of 8:4.

This was the final game of 2025, as all of the GUU sports teams took their traditional New Year's break to recharge for new achievements.

We look forward to seeing our athletes on the ice and sports fields in January 2026, where new games, challenges, and victories await!

"Good Hockey": GUU presented a New Year's miracle to young athletes

On December 21, the State University of Management (SUM) hockey team, along with the Stankin team, held a special pre-New Year's training session for visually impaired children from the Fortuna adaptive hockey team as part of the Moscow Student Hockey League's "Good Hockey" project.

Fun relay races were organized for the young hockey players, and a skating Santa Claus created a festive atmosphere.

Each participant received commemorative gifts from the State University of Management, but the main gift was the communication, attention, and support of their senior comrades.

For the GUU team players, this meeting has already become a good tradition—they came to see the guys for the third time.

Team defenseman Yegor Pridanov shared his impressions: "Pre-New Year's training with the adaptive hockey team has become a real tradition for me—this is my third time coming here. The children are the most touching—their emotions are unfaithful. At times like these, you simply catch yourself thinking that this is precisely why it's worth coming again and again—to give them joy, attention, and support. I believe events like these should be held as often as possible, because they help children believe in themselves and feel part of a larger hockey family."

Our university is truly delighted to be part of this kind and meaningful event. Projects like "Kind Hockey" demonstrate the true power of sport—a power that unites, inspires, and gives hope. We thank the Fortuna hockey team for their annual trust and the opportunity to share their warmth.

The "Good Hockey" project clearly demonstrates that sport goes far beyond competition. It is a tool for integration, development, and boundless joy, capable of creating a true New Year's miracle.
