KAMAZ plants and divisions are currently hosting celebrations dedicated to International Women's Day (March 8). The highlight was a festive concert held on March 3 at the Organ Hall in Naberezhnye Chelny.

That evening, the company's female employees were congratulated on International Women's Day by State Duma Deputy Alfiya Kogogina, First Deputy General Director of PJSC KAMAZ and Executive Director Irek Gumerov, Chairman of the Trade Union Committee Ildar Shamilov, and Head of the Executive Committee of Naberezhnye Chelny Farid Salakhov.

State Duma Deputy Alfiya Kogogina conveyed to the KAMAZ women words of gratitude for their work and patriotism from State Duma Speaker Vyacheslav Volodin and words of appreciation for their support from the Special Military Forces. "It is thanks to your work and your courage that the Russian economy has withstood and thrived under the pressure of more than 30,000 sanctions. A KAMAZ woman is not only a hard worker and creator; she is also a source of love, warmth, and care. I know that many of you, after work, organize humanitarian aid shipments—knitting camouflage nets, writing letters, and assembling packages for our soldiers currently on the front lines. I recently delivered another humanitarian shipment to them, and I extend my sincere thanks to you! They know that you are a reliable support for our men!" Alfiya Kogogina remarked, wishing the women many more reasons to be happy and joyful.

In turn, Irek Gumerov, addressing the female employees of KAMAZ, expressed gratitude for their professionalism and responsibility, emphasizing that today women are successfully realizing their potential in all areas of the auto giant's activities.

As per tradition, an awards ceremony for outstanding female employees of the company was held as part of the gala evening. This year, a total of 390 women were awarded Certificates of Honor and Letters of Appreciation from KAMAZ PJSC, as well as municipal, republican, and federal awards.

The festival's musical program included performances by the Tatarstan Dance Ensemble, the Premier Vocal Group, soloist Liliya Murtazina, and a creative group of KAMAZ employees. A true treat for the audience was the appearance on stage by People's Artist of the Republic of Tatarstan Filyus Kagirov, who performed accompanied by the Miras instrumental ensemble.

KAMAZ employees took part in the large-scale industry-wide republican professional skills competition "Alabuga Skills," which was held in Yelabuga and brought together the best representatives of blue-collar jobs.

The competition brought together 368 specialists from 123 companies across Russia, Tatarstan, Bashkortostan, and Udmurtia. Each of the 25 competencies featured intense competition for the title of best in their field. The auto giant was represented by six employees from KAMAZ TFC, KAMAZ STFC, and AvtoZapchast KAMAZ. They competed in three categories: Forklift Driver, Category C Driver, and Category D Driver.

Last year, KAMAZ workers returned victorious from the Alabuga Skills competition. This tradition continued in 2026. Once again, the company's representatives demonstrated their professionalism, depth of knowledge, and precision, and deservedly earned a place among the prize-winners. Irek Salimgarayev, a test driver for KAMAZ Trucking and Trucking Company, took third place in the Category C Driver competition. His colleague, Petr Ivanov, a delivery driver from KAMAZ Trucking and Trucking Company, also won first place.

Petr Ivanov has 45 years of driving experience and has participated in numerous professional skills competitions. His accolades include victories in the KAMAZ Cup, the Mayor's Cup, and national driver competitions. This year, he attended the Alabuga Skills competition for the second time. Last year, he won bronze in the "Category D Driver" category, and today, demonstrating skillful truck handling, he won gold in the "Category C Driver" category.

"I took the traffic rules test. I was the fastest and most accurate. In the second stage, I demonstrated my practical driving skills. I've been driving trucks at KAMAZ for 19 years, and here they gave me a smaller vehicle. A driver always needs to get used to new equipment. But this is a competition, and it's important to prove you're a professional behind the wheel of any vehicle," said Petr Ivanov. "When I learned I'd won, I was thrilled. I was defending not only my own honor, but also the honor of the company I work for. And I always strive to give my all for my beloved KAMAZ."

The KAMAZ workers received cash prizes, trophies, and certificates. Furthermore, first-place winner Pyotr Ivanov received special recognition at the annual final board meeting of the Ministry of Industry and Trade of the Republic of Tatarstan.

The ceremonial closing of the winter phase of the All-Russian Student Production Team "KAMAZ" took place in Naberezhnye Chelny. Over 200 students from 15 regions of Russia worked at the auto giant as part of the project from January 9 to February 28.

The event was attended by State Duma Deputy Alfiya Kogogina and Mikhail Kiselev, First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma Committee on Youth Policy and Chairman of the Board of the All-Russian Youth Public Organization "Russian Student Teams." Representatives of the Naberezhnye Chelny city administration, the All-Russian Youth Public Organization "Russian Student Teams," and KAMAZ executives were also invited.

During the meeting, the results of the winter stage of the project were announced, and awards were presented to the student teams. The teams were recognized for their best production performance, best commissar performance, best commander, best commissar, best foreman, and best press secretary. The combined student production team "Granit" from the Orenburg Region was named the best team based on all criteria. Furthermore, four project participants were ceremoniously presented with job offers – students from the Donetsk People's Republic, Omsk Region, and the Republic of Tatarstan were invited to work at the auto giant.

The students worked at four KAMAZ PJSC plants: the automotive plant, the foundry, the press and frame plant, and the engine plant. They participated in the assembly of more than 4,600 trucks, over 4,500 cabins, and approximately 3,000 engines.

"These two months were an excellent opportunity for the students to gain work experience, make new connections, and learn something new. The project participants not only gained valuable industrial experience but also became part of a large family, contributed to the creation of trucks, and proved that young people are ready to take on responsibility. I thank all the students for their hard work, enthusiasm, and desire to develop. We are proud that you have chosen our plant to develop your professional skills. I wish you continued success, new achievements, and, of course, we look forward to seeing you among our specialists!" said Sergey Klenko, Director of the Press and Stamping Plant, addressing the young people.

As usual, a wide range of leisure activities were organized for the project participants: creative festivals, sports competitions, educational lectures on personal development, and master classes in cooking, media work, and handicrafts. Special attention was paid to volunteering: students took part in the All-Russian patriotic campaign "Snow Troopers," helping residents of the village of Kamaevo in the Republic of Tatarstan. Participants also visited the Asyltash Social Shelter for Children and Youth once a week, where they held quests and master classes for children and cleared snow from the grounds.

This project is the fourth organized by the auto giant. Its main difference from previous ones is the introduction of a mentoring system. The winter stage was led by students who had passed the selection process and previously participated in KAMAZ work projects. Their mentors were employees of the KAMAZ PJSC Student Team Zonal Headquarters, which has already implemented three nationwide projects.

As a reminder, on February 16, 2024, an agreement was signed between the Russian Student Teams (MOOO) and KAMAZ PJSC, establishing the KAMAZ PJSC Student Team Zonal Headquarters. Since then, more than four thousand students have worked for the auto giant through student teams. Eleven students have found permanent employment, some of whom live in company-provided rental housing.

The project has become part of the 400-year history of Naberezhnye Chelny and is reflected in its appearance—on the side of building 32/06, there's a mural commemorating the collaboration between KAMAZ and the Russian Student Brigades youth public organization. With the help of students, the "Udarnaya Komsomolskaya" stele dedicated to the construction of KAMAZ was also restored, an alley of trees was planted near KAMAZ PJSC's rental buildings, and the country's first multi-format space, "SO.Zdanie," was opened on the employer's premises.

On March 2, a press tour was held at KAMAZ for representatives of the Promtourism.Practicum and Rostec.Promtour projects, heads and specialists from major Tatarstan enterprises responsible for PR, marketing, and media relations, as well as journalists from the publications Vokrug Sveta and Kommersant Weekend, and students studying relevant programs.

The event was organized by the KAMAZ Visitor Center in collaboration with the Metaforma Museum Scenography Bureau. The parties discussed industrial tourism and the development of corporate spaces, and KAMAZ management shared their successful experience in this area.

The tour began at the KAMAZ Visitor Center, where guests learned about the history and current achievements of the auto giant. The delegation then proceeded to the automobile plant, where they were shown the main assembly line and the cabin assembly line. At the cabin frame plant, the group was shown the robotic production of cabin frames for the latest-generation K5 vehicles.

In the afternoon, a business discussion on "Enterprise Visitor Centers as a Hub for Developing Industrial Tourism, Corporate Communications, and Culture in the Region" took place at the Visitor Center. Speakers included representatives of the Agency for Strategic Initiatives, the Rostec.Promtour project, KAMAZ PJSC, and the Metaforma Museum Scenography Bureau. Industry experts discussed how industrial enterprises communicate with external audiences, why this is important for business, and how industrial heritage influences contemporary culture and society. The meeting was broadcast live on the official Metaforma Museum Scenography Bureau VKontakte page.

Guests were also told how the idea was implemented at KAMAZ and the role of the company's Visitor Center in the development of industrial tourism and corporate communications. Presentations were given by Erik Khairullin, Head of the Press Service and Director of the Visitor Center at KAMAZ PJSC, and Vadim Valeev, Director of the Industrial Tourism Center "Pro KAMAZ" ANO.

The meeting was constructive: the parties discussed a wide range of issues related to industrial tourism and the development of corporate spaces. KAMAZ has successful experience in these areas, and the dialogue laid the foundation for further cooperation based on the exchange of best practices and the implementation of joint initiatives.

"We work with corporate museums and create them, including the KAMAZ Visitor Center concept. We understand that the creation of such spaces is part of a larger process related to industrial tourism. It was important for us to see how KAMAZ implemented the industrial tourism initiative through the Visitor Center, which we helped create, and to see the successes the company has achieved in less than a year of operation. KAMAZ is a leading company in many ways, including this one. Therefore, the decision was made to organize a meeting like this at the KAMAZ Corporation, which will promote industrial tourism among Russian companies and contribute to its development," commented Vladimir Shadrin, Head of PR at the Metaforma Museum Scenography Bureau.

Representatives of the Russian Student Teams visited KAMAZ

On Friday, February 27, a delegation from the All-Russian Youth Public Organization "Russian Student Teams" (YAYP RSO) and representatives of ministries, departments, and enterprises of the Republic of Tatarstan visited KAMAZ PJSC.

The large delegation included State Duma Deputy Alfiya Kogogina, First Deputy Chair of the State Duma Committee on Youth Policy and Chairman of the Board of the All-Russian Youth Public Organization "Russian Student Brigades" Mikhail Kiselev, Minister of Youth Affairs of the Republic of Tatarstan Azat Kadyrov, Director of the Republican Center for Student Labor Brigades Vasily Islaev, and other leaders. At KAMAZ, the guests were greeted by Deputy General Director for Security Siren Galiakberov, Chairman of the company's Trade Union Committee Ildar Shamilov, Chairman of the Youth Council Alexey Tarabukin, and Director of the Personnel Development Department Leniza Khurmatullina.

Russian Student Brigades are the largest labor movement of Russian youth. In 2025, more than 400,000 students and schoolchildren from 85 regions of Russia were members of the Russian Student Brigades, gaining their first work experience, earning a decent salary, and making a significant contribution to the country's development. KAMAZ is one of the key platforms where this work has been successfully organized, and the company's experience can serve as an example. Optimal conditions have been created for the professional and creative development and comprehensive fulfillment of students.

The company tour began with a visit to the student team's regional headquarters and dormitory. Afterward, the delegation toured the auto plant—the auto giant's finishing facility—and the Visitor Center. A key part of the busy business program was attending an off-site meeting of the State Council of the Republic of Tatarstan, where they discussed in detail the development of student production teams at industrial sites across the republic. The delegation also attended the closing ceremony of the winter stage of the All-Russian Student Production Team "KAMAZ." As a reminder, over 200 students from 15 regions of Russia worked at the company's four plants from January 9 to February 28 as part of the project.

Student brigades have a long history at KAMAZ. During Soviet times, student brigades from various regions worked at the company's facilities. 25,000 students completed KAMAZ's All-Union Construction Project. The first group, in 1969, consisted of 90 students from the Kazan Civil Engineering Institute (KISI). Today, KAMAZ is the largest automotive corporation in the Russian Federation. To meet the objectives set by the country's leadership amid a general personnel shortage, pressing issues are being discussed, including the search for new approaches to personnel development.

The company's modern history of collaboration with student brigades began in 2023, when over 200 students from ten educational institutions worked at KAMAZ PJSC divisions during the summer holidays. In February 2024, KAMAZ PJSC and the All-Russian Youth Public Organization "Russian Student Brigades" signed a cooperation agreement. A Zonal Headquarters for Student Brigades was established at KAMAZ PJSC to organize student work projects, train student brigades in skilled trades in demand at the company, and facilitate their subsequent employment.
