This week, Polytechnic University said farewell to Alexander Nikolaevich Kobyshev. An honorary employee of SPbPU and a graduate of the M. I. Kalinin Leningrad Polytechnic Institute, he dedicated almost his entire working life to his alma mater.

In 2025, the Polytechnic University's Open Education Center celebrates its 10th anniversary. Dong Yiqun came to St. Petersburg from China, entered the Polytechnic University, this year completed her bachelor's degree in the program "World Economy and International Economic Relations" and decided to continue her studies in the master's program.

The new hero of the "Person" section is Viktor Yakovlev, a graduate of the Higher School of Automation and Robotics of the Institute of Mechanical Engineering, Materials and Transport. He currently works as an administrator of the Center for Youth Trajectories at SPbPU. He is also the captain of the "Omnivorous" team, the bronze medalist of the international championship "Battle of Robots".
