From October 17 to 19, 2025, the Technopolis Moscow SEZ will host the All-Russian competition for students and specialists in the IT industry, mechanical engineering, industrial design and manufacturing – the Hackathon “Open

The Hackathon's goal is to influence the development of Moscow's industrial ecosystem through the design and development of digital products. It will be held in a hybrid format, involving over 1,500 participants aged 18 to 55, and includes the opportunity to win a cash prize. The total prize fund is 2,500,000 rubles.

Only teams of 3 to 5 people can participate in the Hackathon. To join a team or create your own, go to the "Team" section.

Cases for solutions at the Hackathon are being provided by major Russian enterprises: Rosatom, PJSC Yakovlev, JSC Mikron // R-FARM, the Department of Investment and Industrial Policy of the City of Moscow, ANO Mosprom, and others.

We invite students from the State University of Management to participate in the Hackathon. You can register and assemble a team until October 15 (3:00 PM) on the official website.

On October 6 and October 13, the State University of Management will host the first open vocal and dance classes of the creative group "StuDos."

This is a great opportunity for everyone to demonstrate their abilities and become part of a friendly creative family.

A team of professional teachers and experienced vocalists, choreographers, and dancers will help you overcome your fear of public speaking and teach you the basics of your craft.

We invite everyone to show off their vocal talents on October 6th at 7:00 PM in auditorium A-124 (GUU Administrative Building, 1st floor). Pre-registration is required. Don't forget to prepare a song and backing track.

Open dance classes will take place on October 13th at 7:00 PM on the dance floor of the State University of Management (TsUVP building, 1st floor). Registration is required via the link. Don't forget to bring comfortable clothes and shoes.

The Association of Independent Internet Content Producers "People's Bloggers of Good" invites students and staff of the State University of Management to participate in the international competition for social videos created using artificial intelligence technologies – "AI GOOD."

The competition aims to create social video works using AI to tell important, positive stories, support creators of social initiatives, and foster a culture of empathy and inclusion through technology and art.

You can take part in the competition individually or in a team of up to 20 people.

Content must be created in accordance with one of 10 themes: – "The Hero's Journey" – stories of courage and overcoming; – "Humanity and empathy"; – "Healthy lifestyle and active life"; – "Eco-deed"; – "A world without prejudice"; – "The power of small deeds"; – "AI for good"; – "Psychological health"; – "Good is near"; – "Social medicine".

The main stage will run until October 25. The shortlist will be announced by November 12. The finalists will be announced and voting will begin on November 17. The competition final will take place on December 4 in Moscow as part of the All-Russian Congress of the People's Bloggers of Good Association. The best works will be showcased until December 2026 at festivals and online platforms.

The Department of State Policy in Scientific and Technological Development of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation invites students of the State University of Management to the Family History Festival "GenExpo-2025," which will be held September 27-28 at the Lomonosov cluster.

Across six venues, 130 lecturers will discuss current issues in sociology and demography, military genealogy, patriotic education, and labor dynasties. 5,000 in-person participants and over 50,000 online attendees are expected.

The Department of State Youth Policy and Educational Activities of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia and the Foundation for Social and Cultural Initiatives announce the launch of the All-Russian public-state initiative with international participation, "Hot Heart."

The main goal of the Initiative is to express gratitude to children and young people under 23 years of age who have demonstrated compassion and an active life position, selflessly coming to the aid of others or overcoming difficult life situations.

The Initiative's Organizing Committee is accepting nominations for the "Warm Heart" badge and symbol. Nominations can be submitted online on the Initiative's official website. The deadline for submission is December 1, 2025.

The organizers are preparing an annual honorary book, "Ardent Heart," which will feature the stories of all the laureates. In March 2026, an electronic version of the honorary book will be published on the Foundation's official website.

The awards ceremony and honoring the laureates is planned for April 2026 in Moscow.

If you know of any cases in which students from the State University of Management demonstrated compassion and courage, helping someone in a difficult situation, please submit a nomination for the "Warm Heart" award for this humble hero. As an example, we can recall the rescue of a drowning student by SUMU professor Maxim Chirkov.

On September 19, the State University of Management conducted the first wave of seasonal influenza vaccinations for students and staff.

A dedicated team of doctors was stationed at the GUU dormitory so that those wishing to undergo the procedure could do so in a familiar and comfortable environment.

Yulia Larina, Chief State Sanitary Doctor for the South-Eastern Administrative District of Moscow, and her deputy, Olga Shevelkina, visited our university to assess the organization of the event and the preventive measures against seasonal infections. Along with Dmitry Bryukhanov, Acting Rector of the State University of Management, and Vitaly Lapshenkov, Vice Rector of the State University of Management, the guests visited the vaccination room, where they observed the procedure. Representatives of the rector's office were the first to receive the vaccine, demonstrating by example that vaccination is nothing to be afraid of.

"Traditionally, the fall period is associated with a surge in illnesses. Our students come from different regions, and everyone is placed in a new group. Some get sick more often than others, but all of this impacts their academic performance. We care about the health of our students and offer them voluntary and free vaccinations. They don't have to travel anywhere; they can simply come down to the first floor of the dormitory," said Dmitry Bryukhanov.

Next, representatives from Rospotrebnadzor and the rector's office of the State University of Management walked around the university grounds and watched informational videos about the benefits of getting a timely flu shot, which are shown on digital screens in all academic buildings of the first administrative building.

"We come to the State University of Management every year to administer vaccinations before the seasonal surge in flu and acute respiratory viral infections. Students actively get vaccinated to successfully pass their exams and attend classes. It's important to note that the incidence rate directly depends on the number of people vaccinated. If more than 75% of a group, department, or any association is vaccinated, herd immunity is achieved, and we see fewer cases," Yulia Larina recalled.

If you missed your vaccination today, you'll have another opportunity to get vaccinated on September 26 from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM on the first floor of Dormitory No. 2. To participate, you'll need a passport, insurance policy, and parental permission for those under 18.

The open dialogue will discuss startup mistakes and life hacks from idea to scaling. The experts will be mentors from the All-Russian "Startup as a Diploma" competition of final qualifying theses.
