On September 25 at 11:00 a.m., the State University of Management's Assembly Hall will host a workshop titled "Developing Startups to Support Russia's Technological Development" as part of the "Spectrum of Innovations" acceleration program.

The open dialogue will discuss startup mistakes and life hacks from idea to scaling. The experts will be mentors from the All-Russian "Startup as a Diploma" competition of final qualifying theses.

Speakers: – General Director of the FICH studio for business development and entrepreneurial solutions, business technologist Vadim Rydkin; – General Director of Impact Lab LLC, member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation Evgeniya Dmitrieva; – Director of SIIDOS LLC, entrepreneur Bogdan Yakobson.

The workshop's findings will be consolidated in the interactive game "Startup as a Diploma: From Idea to Business," where, in one round, participants will be able to understand how to launch their own startup: from formulating an idea to entering the market.

The game will help you: – understand how to choose a problem and formulate the value of an idea; – understand what an MVP is and what tools to use to build the first version; – see where to look for first users and how to get feedback; – understand the roles in the team; – understand how to respond to typical obstacles at the start and choose working solutions.

The organizers have prepared pleasant surprises: – gifts for the three best questions to the expert at the workshop; – valuable prizes for the game finalists (from merchandise to individual consultations with the expert); – a gift for the most active fan.

On September 20 and 21, the State University of Management will host a large-scale youth forum, "Challenge Accepted!"

The program includes three major areas:

The "Start" student sports festival, where everyone can test their skills in basketball, volleyball, badminton, table tennis, darts, Just Dance, laser tag, obstacle course, and tug-of-war. The business program will feature meetings with Olympic champions, special operations participants, prominent public figures, and representatives of leading youth organizations. Attendees will be able to ask questions of invited experts, attend the finals of the All-Russian "I Am Proud" competition, a training session on public project defense, lectures on healthy lifestyles, the development of student sports, and patriotic education. The "Rosmolodezh.Grants" competition offers the opportunity to receive up to 1 million rubles to implement an initiative. Participants aged 14 to 35 will present projects in 13 categories, including those focused on preserving family values, promoting volunteerism, building intercultural communication, supporting individuals with disabilities, and more.

Guests will also enjoy an immersive performance dedicated to the 80th anniversary of Victory in the Great Patriotic War, a real field kitchen, and activities from the event's partners, such as the opportunity to practice assembling and disassembling a machine gun, play board games, or participate in a sports quiz.

The event's finale will feature singer Anet Sai, author and performer of the hits "If Your Tears Were Water," "Photograph with Your Eyes," and "With the Wind."

The Department of State Policy in the Sphere of Scientific and Technological Development of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation announces the launch of the third stream of the free online course "Pop-Science Journalism".

The course will run from October 6 to December 14 and will bring together more than 100 participants from among journalists, students, representatives of the press services of scientific and educational organizations, as well as anyone who wants to learn how to create accessible and engaging content about science and technology.

You will enjoy more than 50 lectures, webinars, creative tasks, as well as feedback from famous scientists, popularizers of science and journalists on six blocks of topics: “All about popular science”, “Working with text”, “New media: social networks and SMM”, “Working in the frame, filming and post-production”, “Personal brand and PR”, “Naturally about science”.

Among the experts in the third stream: TV presenter and journalist Ernest Matskyavichyus, TV presenter and popularizer of science Alexey Ivanchenko, chief producer of the ANO "National Priorities" Gleb Fedorov, chief editor of the TV channel "Science" Alexey Rezepkin and others.

To participate in the course, you must fill out the form on the website https://school.rt.com/nauchpop, complete a test assignment and be selected based on the results of an expert assessment. Applications will be accepted until September 28, 2025.

Participants who successfully complete all tasks and score high will receive prizes from the course creators, the RT School and the National Priorities ANO. The Department of State Youth Policy and Educational Activities of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of the Russian Federation and the State University of Management invite students and staff to jointly launch the new season of the Sistema scholarship competition.

The competition is being implemented by the Sistema Charitable Foundation as part of the Decade of Science and Technology and is aimed at attracting talented young people to the field of research and development.

The start of the new season will take place on September 16, 2025 at 14:30 at the media center of the National University of Science and Technology "MISIS" at the address: Leninsky Prospekt, 6, building 7.

The Department of State Youth Policy and Educational Activities of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of Russia and the State University of Management invite you to take part in the competitive selection for the A.A. Sobchak scholarships.

Students studying full-time in the second and subsequent years of state-accredited bachelor's degree programs, as well as in the first and subsequent years of state-accredited master's degree programs, who have significant achievements in the field of jurisprudence, are eligible for the scholarship.

The amount of the A. A. Sobchak scholarship is 15,000 rubles per month. It is awarded annually for 12 months. The accrual is made regardless of the receipt of other types of scholarships and other payments.

To participate in the competition for the appointment of a scholarship, the applicant must submit to the person responsible for processing the competition application from the organization a set of documents containing information about the applicant and confirmation of his achievements.

On September 18, the State University of Management will host the first training in entrepreneurial competencies in 2025.

The course program is aimed at those who are taking their first steps in entrepreneurship: participants will be taught the basics of technological entrepreneurship, helped to assemble a team for a startup and form a plan for launching their own business. Together with a team of experts, the guys will go through all the stages of launching a startup: from generating a creative idea to an exciting pitch of your product.

To register for the training, you need to create an account on the study-techtraining.mipt.ru platform and fill in your profile details, then register for the training using the link.

Only undergraduate students can participate in the entrepreneurial competencies training. The number of places is limited.

The training will take place in the atrium of the Information Technology Center of the State University of Management from 10:00 to 17:00 with breaks for coffee breaks and lunch.

All students who pass the final testing will receive certificates, and the most active participants will receive gifts from the organizers. For successfully completing the training, students will also be able to receive a mark for attending the project day event.

The next training streams will take place in October-November. Announcements will be posted on the information platforms of the State University of Management.

Let us recall that in 2024, more than 160 people attended entrepreneurial competence trainings at the State University of Management. This is not an isolated, one-off event, but an entry point into the broad and diverse ecosystem of the University Technological Entrepreneurship Platform of the federal project "Technologies".
