From March 16th to 20th, the State University of Management will host its annual Health Week, in which any student, faculty member, or staff member is welcome to participate.

The GUUSI Student Sports Club has prepared a packed program that will combine good deeds, passing standards, and exciting tournaments.

On March 16, the week will begin with Donor Day: starting at 9:30 a.m., everyone will be able to donate blood and contribute to saving lives.

On March 17, the All-Russian Physical Culture and Sports Complex "GTO" standards will be passed.

On Wednesday, a laser tag tournament for students will be held at the SUM Sports Complex. University staff will also enjoy recreational activities that day, including free swimming in the pool, volleyball, and table tennis.

Health Week will conclude with a master class where participants will learn the technique of sport knife throwing under the guidance of experienced instructors.

On March 10, the State University of Management will host an open lecture by Vladimir Zotov, a professor in the Department of Public and Municipal Administration at the State University of Management and an honorary worker of higher professional education. Zotov headed the South-Eastern Administrative District of Moscow, with a population of over 1.3 million, for 25 years.

The topic of the meeting was: “State and municipal governance using the example of the city of Moscow.”

During his lecture, the professor, Honored Transport Worker of the Russian Federation, and laureate of Russian Government awards in education and science, will explore the specifics of state and municipal governance using the capital as an example: from strategic planning to solving the daily problems of a metropolis.

Participants will learn about key mechanisms for government interaction, the specifics of governance in a high-density, dynamic urban environment, and best practices for implementing social and infrastructure projects in Moscow.

Vladimir Borisovich will share his unique experience leading the South-Eastern Administrative District of Moscow, with a population of over 1.3 million, as well as his many years of research and teaching experience in public administration.

Following the lecture, there will be a book signing featuring Vladimir Zotov's book "Keys to Success: A Career Compass from a Minister"—a practical guide for future and current leaders.

On February 3, a meeting with Maria Zakharova, Director of the Information and Press Department of the Russian Ministry of Foreign Affairs, will be held at the Business Center of the State University of Management.

Dear students studying under a contractual agreement, we remind you that, in accordance with clause 3.2 of the agreement on the provision of paid educational services, tuition fees for the next semester must be paid by February 1 of the current academic year.

We therefore inform you that payment for tuition must be made on time by February 1, 2026. Payment methods are available at this link. The student's full name and contract number must be included in the payment details.

Please also note that students paying with student loans must order and receive an invoice for submission to the bank from the Accounting Department (GUK-118) from Monday through Thursday from 2:15 PM to 5:30 PM, and on Friday from 2:15 PM to 4:00 PM. Banks will not process payments without first receiving an invoice.

On January 23, VTB Arena will host the largest youth entrepreneurship festival, StudFest, where everyone can learn how to become an entrepreneur and discuss their ideas with successful businesspeople.

Participants will learn about opportunities for developing their own business or building a career in technology entrepreneurship. They will be able to formulate a business idea, find like-minded people, receive practical advice on starting their own business, and learn about innovations and new technologies.

The festival will feature scientific debates, intellectual games, workshops, and presentations by renowned entrepreneurs and motivational speakers. For example, a meeting is planned with Oleg Zhuravlev, co-founder of Whoosh; designer, entrepreneur, and blogger Artemy Lebedev; and Guzel Sanzhapova, founder of the Maly Turysh project and the Posredni Nowhere festival.

The State University of Management invites 10th and 11th grade students, undergraduate students, and the general public to open lectures on history given by Professor Nikolai Omelchenko, Head of the Department of Public Administration and Political Technologies at the State University of Management, Doctor of Historical Sciences, and laureate of the Russian Federation Government Prize in Education.

The expert will examine the central issues related to national specifics and historical features of the formation of Russian statehood, and will provide a comparative analysis of the Western European and domestic paradigms of state-political development.

In addition, the reforms of Peter I, Catherine the Great, Alexander I, and Alexander II, which are important for understanding the specifics of Russian statehood, and the features of Russia's historical development at the beginning of the 20th century and during the Soviet period, will be conceptually presented.

Lecture participants will be able to delve into the most complex issues of Russian history and learn about new approaches to understanding the traditional foundations of Russian society's political culture, the national mentality and character of the Russian people, and historical alternatives to the state and political development of our country.

Studying history isn't just about knowing dates and events; it's about understanding the processes that shape our society and state. Open lectures will allow young people not only to expand their knowledge but also to develop critical thinking and learn to analyze and interpret historical events.
