BEIJING, Aug. 11 (Xinhua) — The Longjiang No. 1 warehouse for Russian goods in Suifenhe City, northeast China's Heilongjiang Province, has been sending out about 4,000 orders daily in recent weeks. The figure is expected to exceed 10,000 when the peak sales season arrives in October, according to information posted on the Suifenhe city government website recently.

As one of the important hubs of China-Russia border trade, Longjiang No.1 Warehouse attracts a large number of consumers with its highly efficient supply chain and ability to supply high-quality Russian goods.

As orders continue to grow rapidly, more workers will be hired to work at the warehouse, which in turn will help boost employment in the city and the local economy, the warehouse administration said.

In the future, Longjiang No.1 Warehouse Management plans to improve the supply chain and increase distribution efficiency to meet the high consumer demand for Russian goods.

BEIJING, Aug. 11 (Xinhua) — In the first seven months of 2025, trade between the China-SCO Regional Economic and Trade Cooperation Demonstration Zone (hereinafter referred to as the "China-SCO Demonstration Zone"), located in Qingdao, east China's Shandong Province, and other member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO) totaled 53.26 billion yuan (about 7.41 billion U.S. dollars), up 26.1 percent year on year, China Central Television reported, citing customs statistics.

On the evening of August 8, 235 tourists from Bangkok, Thailand, arrived on a charter flight at Ejen Horo International Airport in Ordos, Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region. TEHRAN, Aug. 11 (Xinhua) — The deputy director general of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will visit Iran on Monday, the semi-official Tasnim news agency reported on Sunday, citing Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi.

According to the report, the Foreign Minister made the statement while speaking to journalists on the sidelines of a cabinet meeting.

A. Araghchi stressed that the purpose of the visit will be negotiations between Iran and the agency, noting that Iran has already provided the IAEA with the necessary clarifications regarding the new framework for bilateral cooperation in connection with the law on the suspension of cooperation adopted by the country's parliament and Constitutional Council at the end of June.

He stressed that no inspections or visits to Iranian nuclear facilities were planned during the IAEA deputy director general's visit, saying: "We have not yet reached a new agreement and cooperation will not begin."
