Participants of the summer school

On August 19, the summer school of the Adapters project opened at the Educational Center for Project-Based Learning at SPbGASU. Over the course of ten days, its participants will exchange experiences, learn about the best practices for adapting first-year students, and consider innovative approaches and work formats.

The Adapters project is an initiative of the SPbGASU student council aimed at helping first-year full-time students adapt to the educational and social environment. Adapters accompany new students during the first months of study, introduce them to the university and the city, and involve them in student activities. You can learn more about the project in its VKontakte group.

The goal of the summer school, organized with the support of the Youth Policy Department of SPbGASU, is to form a community of active, creative and responsive mentors who know how to establish trusting relationships and take into account the needs of first-year students. The results of the classes will be plans for the adaptation of first-year students within the thematic areas “I am proud”, “Moral ideals”, “

Marina Malyutina, Vice-Rector for Youth Policy at SPbGASU, gave a welcoming speech at the opening of the summer school. She called on the participants to remember the importance of their mission and focused on the activities of the new Educational Center for Project-Based Learning, where students can apply the knowledge they have gained at the university to solving real practical problems, generate and implement their ideas.

The opening ceremony summed up the results of the video competition dedicated to the movement of adapters. The first place and prizes were awarded to the team of the Automobile and Road Faculty.

The business program of the summer school of adapters includes a quest around the university, familiarization with the activities of structural divisions, online training on the platforms of the Rosmolodezh Academy and the Shum educational center, and other events.

Adapters of our university held an "Honest Conversation" with Ivan Khlamov, Head of the Youth Policy Department of Peter the Great St. Petersburg Polytechnic University, an expert of Rosmolodezh.Granty. The speaker told about the activities of adapters in his university. For first-year students of SPbPU, they are the entry point into the youth policy system, because an adapter is the first person with whom a first-year student comes into personal contact. Ivan Khlamov is sure that young people are the driver of the country's development in the future, and what values, guidelines, and hobbies the student path will take depends largely on adapters.

The interactive lecture "Ecosystem of youth policy. How not to miss opportunities" by Victoria Motorenko, director of youth spaces "PROSTO", turned out to be educational. These spaces are a project of the Government of St. Petersburg, implemented by the Committee on youth policy and interaction with public organizations. "PROSTO" has two components – infrastructure (a network of free youth coworking spaces) and intellectual (events of various formats). Events for young entrepreneurs are held here – from small lectures to full-fledged educational tracks. They are also always ready to comprehensively support socially significant initiatives.

Victoria Motorenko called on the audience to actively participate in grant competitions and events of youth spaces, and also announced the signing of a cooperation agreement between PROSTO and SPbGASU. According to Victoria, our creative and responsible students will be able to join in the creation of spaces that are a symbol of St. Petersburg in the youth environment.

The final event will be a trip to the State Budgetary Institution of the Leningrad Region "Multifunctional Center "Youth", established by the Committee on Youth Policy of the Leningrad Region in the village of Koshkino.

BEIJING, Aug. 25 (Xinhua) — Beijing should achieve a significant improvement in the level of research, interpretation and application of smart display technologies in the field of cultural relics by 2035, through deeper integration of relics and technology, opening up new possibilities for turning the Chinese capital into a "museum city," according to a plan released by the city's cultural heritage administration.
