Muscovites can buy pet food or treats at Moscow fairs. They sell tested products that meet the necessary standards and will help maintain the health of their pets.

In the east of the capital, such a fair is located at the address: Chelyabinskaya Street, Building 15. One of the stalls there is occupied by pet supplies.

"We offer a unique assortment because we select only trusted suppliers, carefully studying the composition of the product. The food must be nutritious and easily digestible, so that the animals eat their fill in standard portions for their weight. We sell only what we would give to our animals, and we focus on quality and demand: what they take more, that's what we bring," said Vyacheslav Vasilkov, a participant in the fair.

Vyacheslav Vasilkov feeds his pet, a parrot named Kesha, with the same food he sells. Thanks to customer requests, specialized food for mechanical teeth cleaning has appeared on his counter. He noted that dog owners come to buy the products most often; they buy natural dried treats.

Pet owners who live in the center of the capital can find pet supplies at the address: Bolshoy Nikolopeskovsky Pereulok, Building 8.

"The brands we work with are hard to find in Moscow. We started working with pet products when we were looking for suitable food for our dogs for a long time, so now we are very responsible when choosing manufacturers: we work only with Russian companies that do not use chemicals and flavors," said Andrey Stroyev, a participant in the fair.

It sells pet food produced in St. Petersburg by a team of highly qualified veterinarians, nutritionists and technologists. The range includes food made from sea fish, turkey, with added grains and grain-free, with vegetables, fruits and specialized food for puppies and kittens.

Another fair selling pet products is located in northwest Moscow at 57 Svobody Street. On one of the counters there you can find treats for pets: dried tracheas and cartilages, as well as liver and lung cookies. Fair participant Nikolai Lazarenko noted that these are simply dried offal without preservatives or other additives. The products are purchased from a manufacturer in Khimki.

Capital fairs are a place where city dwellers traditionally come for high-quality and fresh farm products brought from more than 40 regions of Russia. Each supplier guarantees the quality and freshness of the goods, and specialists State Veterinary Service of the City of Moscow check the products before sending them to the shelves.

Places are provided to participants of the fairs free of charge. Fair pavilions are located near metro stations and in other crowded places. They are equipped with heating, ventilation, air conditioning and video surveillance systems, as well as commercial and refrigeration equipment.

Artificial intelligence helps Moscow doctors diagnose ear and larynx diseases more accurately and quickly. This was reported on their page in the messenger Max Sergei Sobyanin reported.

"The L.I. Sverzhevsky Research Clinical Institute of Otolaryngology has developed a system that analyzes endoscopic images and identifies visual signs of normality or pathology. Today, it recognizes forms of external and acute otitis media, chronic otitis media, and laryngeal neoplasms," the Moscow Mayor wrote.

At the same time artificial intelligence acts only as a physician's assistant. The final decision is always made by a specialist.

The service is already operating in pilot mode at the L.I. Sverzhevsky Research Clinical Institute, Diagnostic Clinical Center No. 1, and Clinical Diagnostic Center No. 4.

Experts plan to improve the system to obtain more accurate results, as well as teach artificial intelligence to identify diseases of the nasal cavity.

Automation diagnostic processes will improve the efficiency of patient routing, and the data obtained will be used to train specialists.

How members of the volunteer group "Teachers to the Front" help SVO fighters

Translation. Region: Russian Federal

Source: Moscow Government – Government of Moscow –

An important disclaimer is at the bottom of this article.

Muscovites help collect humanitarian aid for residents of new and border regions every day, as well as essential goods and various supplies for participants in the special military operation (SVO). Many create volunteer associations in their district, inspiring neighbors, friends, colleagues and students to help together.

"There are opportunities to help participants in a special military operation, residents of new and border territories in every district of the capital. Headquarters operate in the city every day

"Moscow helps". As part of the “Summer in Moscow” project, the "Houses of Good". Muscovites participate in the collection with their entire families, work teams, and volunteer associations. Each of them inspires others with their example,” noted the director of the resource center. "Mosvolonter" Alexander Levit.

Thus, the director’s advisor on education and the head of the military-patriotic club “Challenge” School No. 1571 Sergei Kolesnikov, together with his colleague Kirill Kerimov and his brother Alexei Safonov, created a volunteer group in the fall of 2022 "Teachers to the Front"They united teachers, students and parents of several schools, as well as other concerned residents of the North-West Administrative Okrug.

How the group "Teachers to the Front" helps

Over the entire period, volunteers have delivered about 200 tons of aid — from wet wipes and towels to radios, antennas, thermal imagers and generators. Communications workers are supplied with various switches, wires, plugs, tools, and medical units with pills, first aid kits and special backpacks. Each delivery includes socks, T-shirts and underwear. Soldiers always need anti-thermal blankets and camouflage nets. Food, clothing, school supplies and toys are collected for residents of new and border regions.

"Our group started collecting aid for the fighters we knew personally. Now we receive requests from more than 10 military units. Over three years, we have organized more than 50 humanitarian aid shipments. Each of them is a small van. We never limit ourselves strictly to the request we receive, we always add something from ourselves: sweets, napkins, souvenirs. Every year we send about four thousand letters and drawings from our children to the fighters," shared Sergey Kolesnikov.

In 2023, a history teacher at School No. 1571 joined the initiative and held the “Give a Book” campaign to collect educational and fiction literature for the libraries of the Donetsk and Lugansk People’s Republics.

Today, this team includes about 70 teachers and 50 parents from several schools in the North-West Administrative District, as well as over 100 children from grades 1 to 11. The ideological inspirers are responsible for the process of preparing humanitarian aid: Sergey Kolesnikov collects applications, attracts resources from other volunteer groups and public organizations. Kirill Kerimov coordinates the loading of goods and their unloading at destinations, and informs about promotions. Alexey Kerimov is responsible for delivery and logistics throughout the entire route.

The group's volunteers regularly organize volunteer events at school #1571. They also attract friendly foundations, neighboring schools, and initiative groups that include students' parents, acquaintances, and friends to help. In addition, they have organized a permanent exhibition display dedicated to helping SVO participants; they are currently preparing to open a museum. Volunteers conduct courage lessons and meetings with fighters for schoolchildren, thematic master classes, and first aid courses.

The teaching staff and the school trade union contribute to the general collection.

For their active participation in helping the participants of the SVO, Sergei, Kirill and Alexei were awarded medals "For Assistance to the Front", as well as letters of gratitude from the military commissariat of the city of Moscow.

You can learn more about volunteering on the website of the Mosvolonter resource center and its page on the social network "VKontakte" and in telegram channel.

Organizing volunteer activities and involving volunteers in city events corresponds to the objectives of the national project "Youth and Children" and the federal project "We are together". This is high-tech equipment, including 15 innovative operating rooms, a center for gravitational blood surgery, wards with the possibility of joint stay of children and parents, play areas, cozy rest rooms and clear navigation so that treatment takes place in the most calm and friendly atmosphere. Young guests can expect a special program with bright performances and prizes. Children will be able to learn in a playful way how to take care of their health, why it is important to eat right and exercise. We hope that these tours will help children overcome their fear of doctors and form the right attitude towards their health," said Anastasia Rakova.

The tours will be held until September 11 at the address: Matrosskaya Tishina Street, Building 12a on weekdays from 2:00 PM to 6:20 PM, and on Saturday and Sunday from 10:00 AM to 6:20 PM. Admission is free, bypre-registration.
