On September 4, 2025, the State University of Management hosted a presentation of the acceleration program “Spectrum of Innovations”, conducted by the university as part of the federal project “Technologies”.

Vice-Rector Dmitry Bryukhanov addressed the audience with a welcoming speech:

"We have integrated the accelerator program into the students' project-based learning, which provides additional opportunities without increasing the academic workload. In addition, we plan to gradually develop the accelerator to the defense of projects within the framework of the Startup as a Diploma competition, the winner of which this year was our student with an innovative development. This once again shows that the university's infrastructure allows us to implement any plans, create prototypes and products, and find external investors. I urge you to make the most of these opportunities," the vice-rector concluded.

Yulia Vorokhob, an expert at the Open Innovations startup studio and senior tracker for the 2025 Spectrum of Innovations Acceleration Program, spoke in more detail about the accelerator’s operating principles and its benefits for students:

"The accelerator is aimed at helping you as managers feel and understand the importance of digitalization and a product approach in any area of activity. There are many cases where projects that started in student days have reached the global level and brought success to their creators. If 20 years ago, you had to look for funds and start in a garage, today you have a safe accelerator environment where you can use the university's resources, receive support and develop something new, relying on someone else's experience."

The organizers did not limit themselves to theory and invited Varvara Karamysheva, a graduate of the State University of Management, a multiple participant in accelerators and winner of various project competitions, to the meeting. The girl told how she created her projects, how the accelerator helped her and how to bring projects to physical implementation.

"You won't be able to bring a project to perfection the first time. You need experience, long-term work, analysis of mistakes and constant improvement of your product. This is exactly what an accelerator is for: it will help develop strengths, get an external assessment and get rid of fantasies. Today, we are negotiating with a large company about joint implementation of one startup and received a grant of 1 million rubles to implement another project. Looking back, I understand that it all started with the first call with our supervisor in the first year of the State University of Management and his words that we are starting to make startups."

At the end of the event, the director of the project office of the State University of Management Anastasia Lobacheva summed up the meeting and called on the students to use the opportunity provided by the university to prove themselves in the entrepreneurial sphere and get the most out of their studies.

On September 4, a presentation of the system for individualizing the educational trajectory for first-year students was held in the assembly hall of the State University of Management.

Thursday is a project-based learning day for students of all courses at the State University of Management, and in the first week after admission, the students were introduced to this educational technology.

The meeting was opened by Vice-Rector Dmitry Bryukhanov, who told those gathered about the university's achievements in project-based learning and the development of students' entrepreneurial skills, and encouraged the students not to be afraid to try their hand at different areas of activity and to maintain the high standard of the country's first management university:

"Today, a new format of implementation of the educational process begins for you, when each of you can choose an individual development trajectory within the framework of the chosen program. First of all, this is carried out through project-based learning, in which the State University of Management is a recognized leader in our country. It is on the basis of our university that the Interregional Educational and Methodological Center for Project-Based Learning operates, which accumulates new practices and technologies in this area."

Dmitry Bryukhanov also noted that GUU is actively involved in implementing the global task of developing the entrepreneurial community. The university has created the necessary infrastructure and there are many opportunities to improve students' entrepreneurial skills: a business incubator, acceleration programs, implementation of business projects, etc. The success of this approach is also evidenced by the fact that among thousands of participants from all over the country, it was a GUU student who took first place in the All-Russian competition of graduation theses in the format "Startup as a Diploma" in the past academic year.

Next, representatives from various fields spoke about innovations and opportunities for building an individual educational trajectory.

Thus, the employees of the State University of Management Vadim Chicherin, Nikolai Tormanov and Alexander Osinsky spoke about the individualization of the curriculum in the sports sphere, the new system of registration for 16 sections and 21 university teams, ways of obtaining the necessary points, and also reminded that all sports events can be found out on the social networks of the State University of Management Student Sports Club.

The main topic of the meeting was project-based learning at SUM, the structure and support ecosystem of which was introduced to the first-year students in more detail by the director of the SUM project office, Anastasia Lobacheva. The students learned that:

Our university is the first in the country where project-based learning is included in the curriculum and is mandatory for all courses; each department and educational program has responsible employees and consultants; projects can only be implemented in teams; project teams can be not only intra-group, but also inter-program; curators from among the SUM employees, mentors, experts and representatives of customers will help at all stages; Thursday is not a day off, but an opportunity to attend any project day events of your choice; the final qualifying work can be prepared in the form of a project and it is better to start preparing for it from the first year.

Ekaterina Illarionova, Director of the Center for Project Mentoring at the State University of Management, spoke about how a mentor is selected, what should be taken into account when choosing a project, and other important nuances of project-based learning.

Director of the Business Incubator of the State University of Management Dmitry Rogov presented the possibilities for developing entrepreneurial projects and measures to support startups, and also noted the importance of bringing projects to the external environment

Danila Yakovlev, winner of the All-Russian competition of final qualification works in the format "Startup as a Diploma" 2025, shared his experience of successfully implementing the project.

Veronika Balandina, head of the federal program "Service Learning" at the State University of Management, spoke about our university's victory in the All-Russian competition of best practices in implementing the "Service Learning" program and how to join the project.

Vladimir Semov, an activist of the Garnet case club, introduced the possibilities of the GUU case school.

During the meeting, first-year students were able to ask questions to the speakers, learned who to contact in the future, and in the near future will form project teams and choose their individual educational trajectories.

Denis Manturov inspected the first domestic flow line for assembling spacecraft weighing up to 300 kg

Translation. Region: Russian Federal

An important disclaimer is at the bottom of this article.

First Deputy Prime Minister Denis Manturov made a working visit to Krasnoyarsk Krai. The First Deputy Prime Minister, accompanied by the region's governor Mikhail Kotyukov and the general director of the Roscosmos state corporation Dmitry Bakanov, familiarized himself with the production capabilities of the company AO Reshetnev (part of the Roscosmos State Corporation).

The company's CEO Evgeny Nesterov reported to Denis Manturov on the creation and launch of the first domestic assembly line for spacecraft weighing up to 300 kg and their components at the company. The line uses robotic and automated control systems, such as smart tools, machine vision based on neural networks, and visualization of the process of performing production operations. Serial production will reduce the time it takes to create spacecraft, increase labor productivity, and quickly form multi-satellite orbital groups, providing consumers throughout Russia with high-quality satellite services.

"Roscosmos was tasked with establishing a conveyor production of satellites. Today, together with you, we have seen that this task has been accomplished. Work is already underway to form orders to load this line. I believe that our colleagues have generally coped with this. This will be a good help in accelerating the implementation of the national project "Space" and launching more satellites for various tasks, including remote sensing of the Earth," Denis Manturov noted.

He was shown the stages of production of communications and navigation satellites at different stages of production, the company's promising developments – a modular unified micro-class platform, new design solutions for the creation of GLONASS spacecraft, and the RS-30M satellite communications subscriber terminal.

"I am confident that the region can become a platform for implementing technological leadership projects in the interests of national development. We see particular potential in creating a national satellite construction center. This will be facilitated by the reserve accumulated at the enterprises of Krasnoyarsk and Zheleznogorsk, and the strong educational and scientific base of Reshetnev University and the laboratories of the scientific center of the Russian Academy of Sciences. On this basis, we are ready to form a center capable of solving a full cycle of tasks – from the development of the latest spacecraft to the implementation of advanced technologies within the framework of the national project. In this matter, we count on the support of the federal center – this is the most important thing," said Mikhail Kotyukov.

Denis Manturov visited the Krasnoyarsk Machine-Building Plant, which produces rocket and space technology and equipment for the fuel and energy complex, and discussed with members of the delegation and the management of the enterprise issues of staffing the industry and the implementation of the state defense order.

In addition, the First Deputy Prime Minister visited the scientific and technological center of the Krasnoyarsk Non-Ferrous Metals Plant, one of the world's largest producers of precious metals. He noted the prospects and demand for the technology of extracting rare earth metals.

Another area implemented by Krasnosvetmet is a unique technology for extracting lithium. The First Deputy Prime Minister was shown the process of extracting the chemical element from hydromineral raw materials, such as salar brines, associated waters of oil fields and geothermal sources. This technology is two to three times more economical than traditional technology and allows extracting lithium even from raw materials with extremely low metal concentrations, from 5 mg/l.

Vitaly Savelyev took part in the session on the implementation of national transport projects at the Eastern Economic Forum

The event was also attended by First Deputy Minister of Transport Valentin Ivanov, Head of Russian Railways Oleg Belozerov, General Director of Aeroflot Sergei Aleksandrovsky, Governor of Sakhalin Region Valery Limarenko, and Head of the Republic of Buryatia Alexey Tsydenov.

In his speech, the Deputy Prime Minister spoke in detail about the development of the main transport routes in the Far East.

An important megaproject for the development of connectivity and exploration of the Far East and Siberia is the construction of the Eastern Polygon of Railways. From 2013 to 2024, the carrying capacity of the Baikal-Amur and Trans-Siberian Railways increased from 98 million to 180 million tons. Preparations are underway for the construction of the second Severomuysky, Kodarsky and Kuznetsovsky tunnels, as well as a bridge across the Amur in Komsomolsk-on-Amur.

By 2030, measures are planned to modernize the airfield infrastructure of 29 airports located in the Far Eastern Federal District. This year, preferential tariffs have been extended for residents of the Arctic zone under three subsidy programs. In 2025, it is planned to transport about 1.6 million passengers along routes within the Far Eastern Federal District.

There are 21 seaports operating in the Far Eastern Federal District. The volume of cargo transshipment in the seaports of the Far Eastern Federal District increased by 1.7% in the first half of 2025 and amounted to 119 million tons. As part of the national project "Efficient Transport System", activities are being implemented in the ports of Vostochny, Korsakov, and Anadyr. In 2024, facilities were commissioned in the ports of Vladivostok (the Sukhodol terminal), which gave a capacity increase of 7.5 million tons, and Vanino (two stages of the Port Elga terminal) – the capacity increase will be 12 million tons. In 2026, it is planned to commission a marine transshipment complex for liquefied natural gas in the Kamchatka Territory.

There are currently 59 checkpoints operating in the Far Eastern Federal District. Vehicle throughput in the first half of this year increased by 13% compared to the same period in 2024. Comprehensive modernization of 5 priority checkpoints has been completed. By 2030, it is planned to complete the modernization of another 26 checkpoints. This will increase throughput capacity in key sections of the state border by at least two times.

Vitaly Savelyev also touched upon the implementation of the national project "Unmanned Aircraft Systems" – in general and in the Far East. The Government Decree in Russia established airspace class H, which simplifies the use of UAS at an altitude of up to 150 m and within the established routes at an altitude of up to 3050 m. The Ministry of Transport of Russia has formed the necessary regulatory framework for expanding the scenarios for the use of UAS. The Pushisty airfield on Sakhalin was the first in the country to receive the status of the first official drone port. Also last year, Sakhalin hosted the educational intensive course "Archipelago". Sakhalin Oblast is one of the leading regions not only in the Far East, but also in the country. Successful local practices need to be scaled up in other regions.

The Deputy Prime Minister recalled that in 2023, Russian President Vladimir Vladimirovich Putin designated the development of the Far Eastern regions as an absolute priority for the entire 21st century. "The Government of the Russian Federation constantly supplements the extensive system of state support measures, implements complex and capital-intensive projects, improving the quality of life of citizens and the growth of business activity. The Far East of our country is the most important strategic region, for the sustainable development of which the accelerated development of the transport system is necessary. This work will be continued," Vitaly Savelyev noted.
