GUANGZHOU, Oct. 26 (Xinhua) — A bulk carrier sank after colliding with a container ship in the Pearl River estuary on Saturday evening, leaving two crew members missing, local authorities said Sunday.
Of the 15 people on board the cargo ship, 13 were rescued. Search and rescue operations are currently underway to locate the missing, and efforts to locate the sunken vessel are ongoing.
Temporary vessel traffic controls have been introduced in the area while authorities investigate the circumstances of the incident. -0-
