Astana, October 24 (Xinhua) — Kazakhstan has approved its first national standards on artificial intelligence (AI). Seven documents have been prepared, establishing uniform requirements for developers, businesses, and government agencies. This was reported on Friday by the Kazinform news agency, citing the country's Ministry of Trade and Integration.

The new standards could become the basis for certification of organizations working with AI, allowing Kazakhstani companies to confirm compliance with international requirements and increase the trust of partners and consumers in both domestic and foreign markets.

The agency also noted that the approval of standards is an important stage in the implementation of the Concept for the Development of Artificial Intelligence for 2024-2029. –0–
