BEIJING, Oct. 24 (Xinhua) — The Standing Committee of the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, China's top anti-corruption body, held a meeting on Friday to study the guidelines of the fourth plenary session of the 20th CPC Central Committee.
The meeting was chaired by Li Xi, a member of the Standing Committee of the Politburo of the CPC Central Committee and Secretary of the CPC Central Commission for Discipline Inspection, who called on disciplinary inspection and supervision organs to thoroughly study and implement the principles of the plenum.
As Li Xi pointed out, the above-mentioned organs should coordinate their thinking and actions with the decisions and plans of the CPC Central Committee, and steadily promote comprehensive strictness of internal Party governance to ensure a reliable guarantee for the fulfillment of socio-economic development goals during the 15th Five-Year Plan period (2026-2030).
Speaking about the proposals of the CPC Central Committee on the development of the 15th Five-Year Plan adopted at the plenary session, Li Xi noted that this document represents a new mobilizing force and a comprehensive plan for building momentum and continuously advancing Chinese-style modernization.
Stressing the need for a holistic, accurate and comprehensive study and understanding of the principles of the document, he called on disciplinary inspection and supervision organs to ensure accountability of all parties by strengthening political oversight, and to guarantee high-quality development by improving party style, enforcing party discipline and combating corruption.
